Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle-Tacoma Airport/Tukwila

One of the best hotel to stay at! Not only do they have a free full breakfast but a dinner mon-​thurs as well super impressed! I think the hotel looks great and seams pretty up to date. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only down side is they go pretty heavy on the air freshener. I’m not sure if it’s automatic or we just got there right after it was cleaned. Very kid friendly. the hotel had coloring books for them as well as a cookie for after dinner.

I was blown away by my experience at this hotel.
I was staying there for a class held in their conference all week.
The staff was SO SO kind and everyone was very helpful and friendly.
They have a great breakfast that changes every day of the week.
They also have a social hour, dinner, every night!
I was not expecting to never have to leave the hotel and be fully satisfied, awesome perk!
They also have a shuttle that takes too and from airport, nearby mall, and public train railway.
Their gym is small but very clean with multiple tv’s.
Maid service did a great job, everything was immaculate.
Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows (one of the most important things to me at a hotel)
I will definitely recommend this place to anyone i know going to Seattle.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night last weekend. We were so pleasantly surprised by the suite. A king’s bed in a full one room suite it was so beautiful. We loved it. We are not used to having big beds and even with the king bed we still held each other close in the middle. The room was clean and ready, the bathroom was private and beautiful, and the room was ours for the taking. The concierge service was wonderful (we checked in at 2:30 AM and checked out t 9) and they were so accommodating. The staff was friendly, the room was beautiful, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for facilitating this.
PS: The police at Tukwila were horrible. My boyfriend took a wrong turn due to the lack of street lights (we are from New York and used to high light) and the police were angry and aggressive and scary. It was terrifying and awful.

My family and I stayed here last weekend and found the hotel to be very clean. We had a two bedroom suite which was really nice, and there was even a fireplace in the living room!
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and their breakfast was great on both mornings!
Would definitely stay here again!

The facility is generally very good. Unfortunately the staff showed no interest in helping customers. When I talked to them, they only gave minimum answers. When I first went to my room, which was in a different building from the front desk, I found my key did not work. In fact, someone let me into the building so I did not find out the key did not work for the building either until later. When I went back to get my key re-​coded, the front desk lady showed no guilt and did not apologize. When she was finished, I asked her if the key would work because I did not have a good feeling about it. She just said «yes». I went to my building and tried my key again. I was so happy that the key worked for the building door! However, when I went to my room, the key still did not work. I had to go back to the front desk again (in a different building) and talked to a different lady. The lady also did not show any remorse. It just seemed it was normal for the employees that something like this happened.
As a tourist, I also ask the various front desk employees some other questions. Each time, the answer was very short. NO ONE TRIED TO HELP. It is such pity that such good facility is run by all the cold employees.

The worst Homewood Suites that I have ever been in. When we first entered the room, the two bedside lamps were broken. They sent a repair guy, who fixed it.
Later, we noticed that they had cups. The cups had old coffee in them. Highly dissapointed.
Breakfast was okay. Bacon, eggs, coffee, etc.
However, service was absolute garbage. Only one of our two keys worked, and we had to get 4 new keys before we got a functioning one. Not to mention that this was after breakfast, and someone needed to pee. When we finally got a functioning one, the OTHER key didn’t work. Appalling.

Train runs every ten minutes and keeps you awake. Not up to par for a homewood suites. Rooms are old. Pool gross. Not at all worth the money. Oh my favorite– if booking the two bedroom suites, the second bedroom needs a window ac unit. Awful!

Stay was Aug 1, 2015. I cannot score this place low enough. I am normally a fan of Hilton products but this is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Room ventilation returns were dirty. Cabinet coffee cups were full of grounds and dirty. The troll at the desk failed to give me a parking pass so we got a towing notice. Breakfast dining was a fiasco because there is no set path for flow. People and kids were running everywhere and it was a snatch and grab contest to get something to eat. It was so crowded there was nowhere to sit so we had to go back to the room. Be aware the hotel is in a seedy neighborhood. I will never visit that hotel again.

Great staff and always friendly! The girls at the front desk are excellent. Even the girls in the kitchen are helpful and have brought out dinners to our room when we were late for the serving hours. Huge improvement in the food. A great value for your money!

Never ever booked with this hotel again. They said check in time is 3pm but when we came they asked us to wait for another hour, then after more than one hour they gave us a wrong suite which was not what we booked. When we came into the room then found out, they told us that was what we booked for. We didn’t accept the room, they told us to wait for another one to two hours if we wanted to exchange the room. Since they wanted you to pay ahead of time and money is non refundable, you would have no choice…

Nice staff, nice morning breakfast and better than most. They even have a free buffet in the evening that comes with the room. Great property for pets with walking areas and lots of grass. Suites are clean and nicely appointed. When making reservations tell them to not book you in the rear of the property, a train comes through every 10 mins. Also it’s on the famous Green River where bodies were dumped and police still have no clue how many including the murderer because he lost count.

The Good — room was nice. Large room, nice kitchenette with a large (for a hotel) fridge. Free breakfast.
The bad —
1. The bed was very firm.
2. The pool was closed. When we booked it wasn’t mentioned on
or the hotels Website. We were pretty bummed. The weather outside was fantastic this weekend.
3. Here is the big one. Our car was broken into. I was notified in the morning that the «security guard» had noticed our car door was left open. We went out and turns out our car was broken into and a $ 300 gps and radio faceplate were stolen. We took precautions by removing the faceplate and gps and putting them in the glovebox. I called the front desk to see if they had any security cameras, they did not. But they didn’t seem overly shocked when I said that our car was broken into. I pretty much felt like their stance was“too bad so sad”. They gave me the number for the police and that was pretty much it. I really got the feeling that this was a common occurance. I understand that this happens, but if it’s common why not install cameras?
We stay in the seatac area often due to dance competitions. Unfortunately due to our bad experience we won’t be back.

Nice spacious rooms, although my room was next to the train tracks (only heard it once during a one night stay). Convenient shuttle that runs every half hour to the airport, mall, and train station. Above average gym with several cardio machines, weights, medicine balls, and open space. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Breakfast has a nice variety of hot and cold items, but no waffle maker.
Would definitely return if I was back in the area!

We were two couples that flew into Seattle to begin a two week road-​trip visiting the Western USA. We began our stay at this location. The hotel was very convenient to the airport, but yet you did not notice the airplane noise at all. We stayed two nights in a two bedroom suite. It was very clean and spacious. It was nice to have plenty of room before spending 4,000 miles in a rental car with four adults. The convenience of complimentary breakfast and dinner was great. They had free wine and beer also. The staff was professional and seemed concerned about the guests. The hotel was convenient to the interstate and shopping. We could not have asked for a better start to our journey.

Well, we are now in our second stay here, having stayed both before and after our Alaska cruise, and I think the shine has come off this particular apple. We attempted to check in at 2:40 PM on Sunday, and no rooms were ready even though the hotel seemed quite empty at this point. Today I found out why. We came back from 7 hours of sightseeing, at 5pm, only to find that the rooms had not been cleaned AT ALL. I have never in my life experienced that, even at a Motel 6, much less a supposed Hilton property. Add to this the thoroughly unapologetic attitude of the front desk bot (her name is Larissa, and she is just not the sharpest tool in the shed) and the housekeeping crew, and I am not a happy customer.
We’ve also eaten enough breakfasts at this place now to realize that there are nowhere near enough tables at breakfast time. If you stay here you too can experience the awkwardness.

Recently my family and I had a fire at home and we go through ALE SOLUTIONS just until our home is restored. As in all insurance ALE has a budget to meet we previously stayed at The Residence Inn by Marriott for 35 days before moving to Homewood Suite as this is more of an affordable hotel.
May 17^th until today May 20^th 2014 I have only been here for a couple of days and already there has been concerns about my pet dog. As this is a pet friendly hotel I would expect them to be more considerate. And will be providing them business for 60 days length of stay.
May 19, 2014 Two managers came to my room to discuss this issue with me. They told me ALE will pay for my dog hotel. I told them «why do I have to put my dog into a hotel when this is a pet friendly hotel» it doesn’t make any sense for me to pay an additional hotel for my dog. They said «people have been complaining about barking, noise and my dog bit a housekeeper» what dogs don’t bark? Bit a housekeeper which at that time we were at the hotel and the housekeeper never complained or approached us with any incident but waited to tell us.
In their Pet Policy they should have notated NO BARKING, NOISE… ETC but nothing is written on the pet policy but just a $ 75 charge??? They were so quick to get our money. If they have a policy set in mind they should of notated that instead of wasting our time and thinking everything will be ok. I have reported this to BBB because it is unfair for me and family to deal with and not feel valued for our service. I gave Homewood Suite Managers and Employees a benefit of a doubt but it was a big mistake.
Inclusion my family and I have decided to move back to Marriott Residence Inn and they have offered us the same price as Homewood Suite as a courtesy which was very generous of them. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND HOMEWOOD SUITE IN TUKWILA TO ANYONE I KNOW. I highly recommend you do the same. BE ADVISE: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR AND SNOBBY.

I’ve stayed in a number of hotels close to the airport, and this by far is the best. Even though we got in at 1 am we got a shuttle from the airport, and the lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Sadly we had to leave early in the morning for another flight; I wish our stay had been longer!
We got a 2 bedroom suite, with a fireplace. The room was on the ground floor, very quiet. Since we were running on Hawaiian time 1 am didn’t seem that late, so we lit a fire and enjoyed the popcorn that had been provided. My grandson was very happy with that! Since we were getting up early and had to wake up our daughter and grandson and get them organized at an early hour it was especially nice not to have to go to another hotel room to do so. I loved the two bedrooms for that, and recommend it for a travelling family.
This isn’t a full service hotel, so don’t expect room service. That was not a concern for us, and we didn’t miss it at all.
Comfortable bed, nice kitchenette, lots of room, good internet, reasonably priced, this was a winner all the way around. I only wish we hadn’t left so early as I would have liked to try breakfast. This was my first stay in a Homewood, and it definitely won’t be the last.
I’ve posted a pic of the layout of the hotel. I’d call and reserve a room on the inside that is quieter as I understand there are train tracks not far away. We didn’t hear a thing during our stay.

So far Ive stayed in 4 different Hilton hotels around the Seattle area. This was the best one we’ve stayed in so far! The landscaping and building itself are very nice. The staff were helpful. They gave my sister a free shuttle ride to her early flight at the SeaTac Airport. We really enjoyed our two bedroom fireplace suite! The breakfast was nice as well. A good variety (oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, eggs, cereal, sausage, and more)! We would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay near airport… especially if you have a large family.

Standard Homewood Suites property, though there were several buildings instead of one. Many of the suites are on the upper level with access via stairs outside the building, so if you have issues with stairs be sure to request a ground unit.
I was only there for the weekend so I only can comment on the breakfast served. It was standard HS fare but the layout could stand for some improvement, the flow needs to be improved, everyone was bumping into someone else. My one negative to the food is that both days the potatoes had no color on them, one day the hash browns were anything but brown, the next day the tater tots were off white. A bit of color would make them much more flavorful.
This hotel is very near the Starfire soccer complex, so be warned that if there is a tounament on the weekend it will be filled with soccer youth and their families.

Well, a group I meet with holds our conferences here so I guess so. I’ve never stayed here but been in rooms, the conference area, scoped the morning buffet and been around the grounds so I guess I still owe them a review.
It’s far back from the road and hard to find, but the area is quiet for that close to the bustle and the grounds — including a nice outdoor pool and bbq/​outdoor eating area– are always very well kept.
The buffet in the the morning looks good and the meeting snacks were always delicious.
The pool alone deserves more than 3 stars but since I don’t know the room pricing, not sure if this a great deal or just a nice perk.
