Business Owner

I come from a large family (five siblings!) and my dad was rocket scientist. I always loved science and decided to pursue a career in medicine as a teenager. A family friend, who was an engineer colleague of dad’s, changed careers and became an orthodontist. From him I learned that orthodontics is a fascinating mix of art, science, and esthetics and I’ve loved my career from the start.

I came to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and earned a BS, DDS, MSD, and PhD degrees there. I started my orthodontic practice in 1991. While the techniques and technology of orthodontics have changed a lot since then, personalized patient care delivered by caring professionals in a modern environment will always be the basic goals for which I strive.
