My friend got an apartment here and it was so dirty when he moved in– they didn’t even bother to clean it! Also/​he was supposed to have a parking space, but once he started living there– he had NO parking space and had to park on the street– lucky his car didn’t get hit it’s a very narrow street. Not a good company.

I just recently leased a home from Slater Realty, and I gotta say, Its been a total pleasure renting from these people so far!
Everything went smooth and was completed in a timely matter, the credit check went fine, and also dealing with Joan to get the paperwork finished up was explained professionally to my roommate and I. I like the fact that a lot of the units in tujunga/​sunland area are managed by Slater Realty for over 20 – 30 years, and also the prices for their units are legit. And they managed their units very well, atleast from what I see. Im lucky I got to find Slatery Realty and lease my first home with them!

My experience with this company has been very good so far. I think they do put tremendous emphasis on renter credit which is not such a bad thing when you have excellent credit. I rent an old house which has maintenance issues from time to time. The mgmt has been quite diligent in solving various issues in the time I have been at the property. It’s not the Irvine Company but I am not paying Irvine Company prices either. All in all a very good relationship so far…
