I have always had a great experience every time I have gone with my tire issues. Beto is extremely ethical and by far he is has always been honest and trustworthy. This is a place of business not to be confused the others, just make sure you go to the correct place, the shop is located on the right hand side from Sunland and on left from La Crescenta.

My dad always brings our cars here when we have any tire issues. So naturally I brought my newish c30 here for a slow tire leak. Javier was really quick and took care of the problem (tiny nail).

My tire pressure was low and come to find out a piece of metal ripped the tire to irreparable damage, damn it. Lol.
Went to the shell gas station service center and they offered a crappy looking tire for $ 60 with installation.
Then when I passed they reff. me to this guys shop and it was honestly a blessing. He told me he’d give me a nice used tire for $ 35 and install he was busy when I came and asked me to come back in 20 minutes so I went home got me and my daughter ready for the day and came back.
He was very accommodating I have a toddler so he allowed me and her to sit in the car the entire time he did the switch. The tire looked amazing better than all the ones that are on my car now lol. He actually said he’d never heard of the brand of the other tired before.
He checked and adjusted the pressure in all of my other tires as well.
Losing one star only because I felt like there could have been a better explanation of the type of tires or procedure that was happening I’m very illiterate to cars and parts, just felt things could have been more thorough. Mostly though the location is tricky to get to, in the cut, and hard to back out of, I’m already not the best driver lol.
However he was a friendly guy, and the price was great. Hopefully the tire isn’t a piece of shit lol.

Great service, clean, good price. Rudy is reasonable, nice, knows his business. I brought my own tires to mount and balance. 4 tires mounted, balanced in 1 hour. No complaints, I will go back again with the other cars.

I should ask his name and will next time, but the guy who is always manning the garage is very sincere and honest, and has an amazing work ethic. This place also has prices that cannot be beat. I have been there at least three times in the last two years to get new tires and them mounted. Easy and super fast in and out. This is the kind of small business everyone should support.

There are two Rudy’s and I’ve been to both. The one pictured (with the nice looking shop on the north side of foothill) messed up a brand new strut they were installing. They did replace it, but it took several trips. They aren’t the worst.
Unfortunately the other Rudy’s up foothill on the south side in a difficult-​to-​find spot is abysmal. I brought in a new set of tires and the wheels/​old tires off of my wife’s 4-​runner to have them swap the tires. (I don’t like guys working on my stuff, so I didn’t just drive there and have them remove the wheels. Glad I didn’t — who knows what would have happened then).
I came back a few hours later to pick them up and saw that her pristine aluminum wheels had gouges and scratches all around the outside lip of each wheel.
I’ve been around tire shops a lot over the course of my life and knew they messed something up. A properly used PROPER tire changer doesn’t touch the wheel, except what holds it down. And this damage was not from holding it down.
I asked the guy who had done the work which machine he used and he said that he had a wheel on that machine (pointing to the one he should have used) so he used that machine (pointing to the machine that is from the 70’s, designed for steel wheels, and runs a metal bar across the face of the wheel to install and remove the tire).
The ONLY good thing I can say about the whole interaction is that the owner admitted fault. Because he seemed nice and didn’t argue, I did not insist on having him replace the wheels with new ones from Toyota. I will never make that mistake again. I then spent the next 2 months dealing with him and his horrible paint and body guy across the street who he asked if we could use because he gets a good deal from him.
In the end, I spent probably 20 hours on a job that should have cost me about 2, had my wife’s truck on jackstands in our driveway probably 5 times and have wheels that look ok.
He was grateful that I was so accommodating and said he would help me out if I ever had any other needs. Because he seemed to handle the situation pretty well, I went back a few months later to have him swap the tires on my truck. This time I was going to oversee the operation. But everytime I went there, he wasn’t around and his worker, Wayne, would give me the runaround. Finally after about 7 attempts, Wayne told me that he didn’t want to work with me because it was too risky.
I don’t know if Wayne was lying but there are other tire shops that are worth patronizing. This is not one of them.

BUYER BEWARE – THIS GUY DECEIVED ME TODAY.
I hate to have to write a bad review, but I feel compelled to based on my experience this morning. Keep in mind that we have using «Rudy» for several years.
This morning, I pulled in needing 4 new tires to replace my 4 balding ones. He proceeded to install my new tires when another guy pulls in in need of 1 new tire. «Rudy» stops working on my car and proceeds to install a new tire and do some other work for this customer that pulled in after me – in all about 15 minutes. The other guy pays and drives off.
After contemplating what just happened, I politely tell him that not only did he not tell me he was going to stop working on my car to help another customer, but that it’s really bad customer service. He apologizes, and then goes back to working on my car. Fifteen minutes later, he pulls my car out of the garage and says «…very sorry, no charge…» I insist on paying, but he refuses to take my money. I even offered to pay half, but he still refuses.
So, I drive away under the impression that I have new tires. I get a few miles down the road and realize my car is still rattling because of bald tires. I get out and check my tires, and realize that they are my old ones! The guy put my old tires back on my car!
So I go back and and confront him about the whole situation and he says «…you don’t come to me if you don’t have time to wait… the other guy just had 1 tire, so I help him…»
I point out to Rudy how that doesn’t make a lot of sense, and he gives me this dumb smile. I then proceed to tell him that he has lost a customer, and that I will let other people know of my bad experience with him today, and he says: «I no care».
So there you have it. I am more than willing to support small business in my community, but my experience today at «Rudy’s» was wrong on so many levels.
I will now be taking my business to one of the tire chain stores.

I’ve had several tire changes here, since I hesitated to do a full change, waited till each one popped before changing lol. Anyway, these guys are f*ing awesome.
Always good quality tires at superb prices, seriously tires are overpriced everywhere but these guys get it done for a fraction. I got a full set of used tires finally, for a price unheard of in the area or within 30 miles, so one of the tires made a bit of noise. I went back, they switched it out for a new one without a second of hesitation. Service is near instant and super friendly. Recommend to everyone.

I went to this shop since it’s near where I live and the reviews were good. They had just closed but the guy working there opened the store and gave me a great deal on a couple tires. The service was fast and the price was great for the tires, balanced, and mounted.

This is an ok shop. Very small. Usually just one guy. I had him fix a few flats and he did good And worked quick but I took him my old car to swap out some rims and he wouldn’t do it. He said he was too busy but I found out later that he doesn’t trust himself with nice cars because he scratched one up a while back. Rumor or no?
Either way I tried to get him to do it and he turned me away.
This is the Rudy’s across foothill from auto zone. There is another Rudy’s above and same side as autozone, that’s the one to go to!

Anthony is a great guy who will treat you right. We’ve been going to his shop for a few years, and he’s always made us feel like family. Great prices, good work. Who could ask for more?

Went to Rudy’s with a tire going flat. Wow great service. The owner let me know there would be a 10 minute wait…10 minutes was nothing… I was happy I could get the tire fixed on the Friday before Memorial Weekend. He took care of the tire quickly, was very personable and the price was very reasonable. To me that is the best combination. Thanks!

This guy is a thief!!!
He quoted my over the phone to mount and balance a set of tires. When I got there, he told me that it was going to cost way more because my tires were heavy. I was already there so let him do the job.
The first time I drove the car on the freeway, it was shaking so hard that I had to exit and take surface streets to work.
That evening I returned to Rudy’s and confronted him about the problem. He refused to fix it or return my money claiming that he had charged me too little for the job. When I examined the tires, I noticed that he hadn’t even removed the original weights and had only added his own to the wheel.
Avoid this liar at all costs!

I actually went to these guys on the strength of other Unilocalers reviews. They sold me two «new» tires, three months later they are BALD. I took the car to a mechanic and he could not believe me that they were new tires… seriously, he REFUSED to believe it! It turns out the alignment was bad and that is what made the tires wear out fast, but GUYS! You could have TOLD me this! You saw the old tires, and then sold me brand new ones that wore out in 3 months… that is what bugs me. Of course I tried to get reimbursed and then they came out with all the excuses, they did not treat me right here… I think they are pretty shady, in fact.

My wife got a flat. Filled it up with air and went to one of the chain tire company’s shop and was told they might be able to work me in if I wanted to wait 45 minutes or an hour and it would cost $ 20. The tire was going flat, so I drove around and found Rudy’s. Anthony was professional and friendly, said he could do it right away and it would cost significantly less. The job was done quickly and correctly.
Decided to buy new tires after this. Looked at some of the members stores and larger chain stores, then went back to Rudy’s. Anthony found better tires at a better price, said to stop in the next day, treated my wife with respect and again, the job was completed professionally and timely.

Got a flat! And looks like my other one is about to burst. My husband tells me to call this place and see if they have used ones available. Called; Anthony answered; he said yes!; I went after work. $ 30 each. Paid $ 60. Done. WOW! EXCELLENT!

A+++++++++++++++++++++++ I would leave 50+ stars if I could. Had tire patched in and out in less than 15 min. Didn’t have cash (cash only) they let me leave without collateral or hassle to get cash from Bank. Writing this review at home. Now headed to Bank to pay them. They are awesome — customer for life… Wayne and Anthony (owner) were fast, professional, wonderful. Highly recommend.

Needed a new battery put in, apparently Autozone has stopped doing it so after buying my new battery went up the street half a block to Rudy’s (whom the guys in Autozone recommended). Great guy, very fast, friendly, only $ 10 and best of all was open on a Sunday early afternoon. Thanks man.

I’ve needed a tired repaired fast… I went to a big tire discount store and was told I would have to wait an hour even though they weren’t busy and the cost would be $ 20.00. I left and drove around and by chance found Rudy’s. They fixed it immediately and only charged $ 10.00. What a deal.
Since I was treated so well I went back and got a great deal on new tires for my truck. Anthony gave me different options, his advice and treated me with respect. The whole process took less than an hour. Great service!

I absolutely love Rudy’s Tires. My car has gangsta rims on it and I can never find tires because no one carries the size I need in stock… except for Rudy’s Tires (and umm, the internet). Anthony (I think he’s the owner) is always there, always professional, so nice, and very straight forward. His prices are insanely reasonable, and I promise you won’t find a better deal on used tires, mounting and balancing, or an alignment anywhere else. Call him before you come in and he’ll give you a very accurate price estimate.
While they always get the job done quickly at Rudy’s, there isn’t a waiting area, so if you go in high heels, I hope they’re comfortable.
There’s another Rudy’s Tires down the street, but 7370 Foothill Blvd. is the Rudy’s for me.
