I moved out of the Sunland/​Tujunga area in 2010 and moved to Sherman Oaks.
I still drive to Tujunga so she can continue to be my dentist!

Full disclosure: Dr. Melnyk was/​is a family friend before being our family’s dentist for the last 15 years.
That being said, I’ve been to many dentist over my lifetime. Some better than others. I had one dentist that wanted to put on a crown 20 years ago. That tooth just needed the ancient filling replaced recently.
Dr. Melnyk is kind and compassionate and makes sure you are comfortable. She also lets you know exactly what is going on with your teeth. I had an old filling replaced recently and it was pain-​free. The new filling is so much smoother than the old one it’s amazing.
My wife has had a crown and a veneer done by Dr. Melnyk and she is very happy as well. The new veneer is better than the original. The original veneer fell off after 16 years of wearing it.
My kids don’t like going to the dentist in general: like most people. But Dr. Melnyk has videos for the kids while they are waiting for Mom or Dad and plenty of reading material for all ages.
Overall it’s a pleasure having our family’s dental care done by Dr. Melnyk.

Dr. Melnyk is awesome! Her support staff is great also. I’ve had a root canal, crown replacement, fillings and cleanings done by Dr. Melnyk. She is very gentle and I’ve never had an issue with pain. I would recommend her to any one of my friends… and I have! I’m glad she is my dentist!

I was unhappy with my old dentist so I decided to give Dr. Melnyk a try, based on the recommendation of a friend. This was a great decision. As soon as I sat in her chair, I felt like I could trust this woman to take care of me. Dr. Melnyk took care of my crown problem immediately. She is competent, professional and kind. Very caring. Her staff members are welcoming too. I usually dread going to the dentist office, but I actually look forward to seeing Dr. Melnyk again!

I have been going to Dr Melnyk for more than 10 years, she is kind, very caring, and knows her stuff. Since I have been going I have never had an issue with pain with every procedure she has performed, and she takes her time to perform a through procedure. I count my blessing that she is my dentist.

Dr Melnyk is the best! I have been going to Dr Melnyk for over 10 years. She has pulled my wisdom teeth, filled cavities, fixed tooth aches and given me countless check ups and cleanings.
Dr Melnyk is gentle. She is almost a pain free dentist. Her staff is also very professional and sweet. I highly recommend Dr Melnyk.
