This Ihop location is great. The staff is very friendly and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center. It is located in Tujunga, CA off the 210 ramp when you get off on Lowell Ave. The food is fantastic and they have much better service than the Glendale location which has really been lackluster as of late. Their steak and egg omelets are very good and have good pancakes as well. Their lunch menu doesn’t dissapoint either as their burgers are pretty tasty. I don’t gave any major complaints about the resteraunt iself. But the homeless people in the area are sometimes burdensome. Other than that go try this location.

I sit here writing this review, whilst looking at my water cup. No ordinary water cup, but one with hair in it. This place lacks morals and decency. I came here a previous time with some friends, one of which also found a hair in his french toast. Yes, not once, but twice. Beware, and make sure to check for hairs next time you’re here. Service is slow, however this place is typically empty unlike the Glendale location.

Ordered an omelet and swear it was two times smaller then the usual ones they make. It was so small that my 100 pound wife was shocked how small it was. Pretty bad.

I highly recommend this place to everyone, one of the many good IHOP places that I’ve been to I remember a server that is always smiling to us and are very responsive if we need help or something that we need to know, she’s also the one who helped me out on what to order, since I’m first timer in this place. I can really say that the customer service here is beyond excellent and the staff are noticeably that are Highly trained and know what they are doing. I ordered Big Steak Omelette and Red Velvet Pancakes. The food finally git on my table for just less than 10 minutes, that’s again another plus, quick service. …And oh, before for got, everything I ate is pretty delicious.

All of their customers park their big suvs/trucks in the compact spots in the lot which makes it impossible for other cars to park. They should monitor that more or put a sign out there.

Most of the food is very good but some of the waitresses could be nicer, but the managers are very kind.

Since new management, they are doing awesome. A smile every time we walk in, the waitresses are super sweet and helpful, customer service is overall great! The food is IHOP good. I enjoy their omelette specials and my Juni LOVES her HAPPYFACEPANCAKES. No other place makes it like that for her so she sees this place as IDEALBFASTFORKIDSSPOT. Husband always loves eating here it’s clean, we organized and lots of people but seated right away every time.

SPOILEDFOOD and HARDPLASTICINPANCAKES!!! I just went for a late dinner takeout from this IHOP at 11pm on Friday(I’ve gone here many times in the past without issue). This time I didn’t recognize the night staff. The usual host/cashier who was wonderful was not there instead there was a young boy who appeared to be 12 – 15. We brought our food home. I opened my spinach and mushroom omlete and noticed a pungent odor. I thought it was coming from somewhere else and took a bite then another and then I threw my fork down. The sauce was completely spoiled!!! I’m praying i don’t get sick! I think ok, spoiled sauce, that can happen though I am feeling very uneasy about ihop. So I open my red velvet pancakes take 3 bites and then on the birth bite, CRUNCH!!! I pull this hard bit out of my mouth and notice it’s a piece of plastic. 2 for 2 in not trying a third. We used to go here every few weeks for a late night dinner for ourselves or a brunch with the kids. I WILLNEVERGOTOTHISLOCATIONAGAIN! We call the restaurant to complain and talk to a manager we are told by the young boy«there is no manager here». Really? Also both the boy and the waitress we got on the phone had terrible attitudes and didn’t seem at all concerned that they had just served spoiled food and food with a foreign object in it. Don’t you understand people can get sick? People can die? Don’t go here!

DONTEATATTHISLOCATION!!! BEWAREOFCREEPYWAITER!!! This is the worst IHOP Ive ever been to! Right when we walked in, the entire place smelled like septic-tank/poop! It was disgusting! Yet the door wasnt open for the air to vent. …Definitely cant forget the super creepy waiter who OBVIOUSLY has some problems, and really shouldnt be waiting tables, let alone greeting people at the door!(He should be a dishwasher or something in the back, AWAY from the public!) AND, the customer service is terrible! We ordered something simple, and when the food finally got to the table(20 minutes later) of course they messed something up! Im honestly SHOCKED to see that this IHOP has 3 stars! …Maybe its because the food tastes good! But that’s about the ONLY thing food about this location! Everything else is absolutely AWFUL!

Disorganized, clueless, and rude staff. Came here at a Friday night 8:00PM when it is suppose to be the busiest for restaurants and they only had two servers on staff. One of the servers was a young kid who I am sure was only 16 years old and training. Why in the world is there 1 waitress and 1 training waiter on a busy Friday night with 15+ tables? The training waiter needed 15 minutes to bring us water after he took our order, which might not be entirely his fault. For whatever reason the waitress came to our table to take our orders again and gave us an attitude when we told her our orders has been taken. On other tables I saw many other patrons that needed refills, condiments, and their checks that kept them waiting. I saw one female busboy who had no idea how to clean up tables and was giving other guests an attitude when they politely asked if they could get a refill on their drinks. Food was mediocre. My yolk on poached eggs were hard on the inside, the hash browns cold, friend’s chicken appetizers was lacking flavor. The pancakes were good, thankfully for IHOP’s signature dishes. After finishing our food we had to go to the counter to get our bill and when we were trying to pay the staff they ignored us. Had to leave our cash on the table so we could finally leave the restaurant. I sincerely hope things will improve or this was just a bad busy day. Get more staff working and for the love of God don’t have a 16-year-old trainee taking half the tables on a Friday night.

On my way to work from school with no traffic whatsoever with some time to kill and a stomach that was ready to kill me if I didn’t get some food in. When I came in I had an hour to kill and always see this IHOP so I thought I’d give it a shot. I waited for about 5 minutes to be seated since there were only 2 servers that I could see on the shift so that was fine. My waitress’s name was Teresa and I loved her hospitality, as far as I could see all her customers loved to talk to her. She was sweet and polite and was double checking with her patrons to make sure everything was great. When she got back to me she apologized for me waiting(I only waited another 5 minutes and I spent 4 of those minutes deciding what I wanted). I decided on the Chocolate chip pancakes(the buttermilk version since I don’t want too much sweets in the morning) along with the combo of eggs, bacon, and hash browns. It took around 10 minutes for my food to arrive but it was well worth it, and even then Teresa apologized and brought items that weren’t on my table and apologized for it(it was only ketchup) and before attending to other costumers she asked if she could get me anything else and I said no and she briskly walked away to tend to the new diners. The food itself was wonderful, my pancakes were fluffy and plenty of chocolate chips in it, bacon was crispy like it should, hash browns were golden and beautiful, and my eggs were tasty and light. Overall would go here again because my visit was fantastic!

This is my local ihop and I love it! The staff is always helpful and friendly. My only and I really mean MYONLY complaint is that they will give you old lukewarm hash browns. It’s literally happened to me the last 3 times I visited. I will say though if you ask they will bring you some nice, hot, golden brow, amazing hash brown. I just don’t understand why it cant be that way the first time around.

«IHOP» to be coming back to this IHOP soon and often. My wife and I came here to eat with our kids at 9AM on a Sunday morning. We were promptly seated(but 1.5 hrs later as we were leaving, the line was out the door). I got the split decision and my wife got the strawberry banana french toast. I got a coffee, she got hot chocolate and we shared a side of hash browns. We had a coupon for buy one entrée plus two drinks, get one entrée off(up to $ 8) — so our entire meal came out to $ 25 with tax — not a bad deal at ALL. Mmmm… everything was so scrumptious and I LOVE breakfast foods so much. I couldn’t decide on pancakes or french toast so I got both. Drizzled with syrup and butter, I gladly succumb to my taste buds now in exchange for impending heart attack down the line. Fresh eggs sunny side up and sausages, perfectly cooked. The perfect blend of sweet and savory. Everything came in generous portions so needless to say, notches had to be loosened on the belt. So stuffed I had to relieve myself so I visited the little boy’s room. It was very clean! The ONLY complaint I have is their coffee. The jug we got was seriously watered down and did not taste good at all. We asked for another jug, the next one tasted better but it’s not their best.

Pretty good for your typical restaurant chain. However, I had to take a star away due to their prices which I think are a bit too high. Today is an exception, since it’s after 3pm and my little one eats Free. And I scored the bacon and egg combo with all you can eat pancakes. Service was excellent, so ask for Olivia.

We were starving and we did not like the other places in the strip mall plus we happened to be parked right next to it so we went in for dinner. We have always enjoyed their breakfast, and since they serve it all day, that’s exactly what we ordered. I really enjoyed my veggie omelette. Less than 400 calories and still very good and filling. Made with no yolk. Fruit on the side. The fruit was melon and pineapple. Our waitress was extremely attentive. Place is clean. Seats clean. Menus clean. Tables also clean. Bathroom was also neat and tidy. Lots of parking in a shared lot. Free. We will definitely be back!

I ordered chicken noodle soup,. And there was literally two tiny pieces of chicken and one noodle… Instead of calling it chicken noodle soup it should be called just broth. Very disappointed

Our service was pretty slow today, waited a long time for someone to come take a drink order, waited longer for food order and when food came, everything was ok until I got my pancakes… I prefer them less hairy… got so disgusted that I was nauseous all day… Will not come back.

Come here often; the food is good; love their Splashberry drink with free refills. Breaksfast Sampler is one of my favorites but they also make good BLTs. Staff is always friendly and efficient. No complaints here.

1 pancake platter and it will make my whole damn day feel good. Yes, because for me, breakfast is the important start of your day. If are not good on the breakfast, you’ll whole day will eventually be bad. Big steak omelette is my most recommended morning delight. And sometimes I go with my own choice and create my own pancakes.

TERRIBLESERVICE!!! If you’re in the Tujunga area DONOT go to this IHOP. It has the worse service. We just came at midnight they had two tables with people. One table had a couple and the other table had about 7 people… both tables were already served! We waited for about 20 minutes without even a greeting from the waitress or water or anything! Needless to say, we got up and left. This is the second time that we’ve come here and the service has been bad… this time was just extremely terrible. We will never come to this IHOP again.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is very diner-esque but the service is always excellent. Even when the place is busy like on holidays and special occasions, it’s wait staff is always there to take care of my and I. I frequently have breakfast here with family and friends, but any time of the day is excellent. Love this place! Its become a tradition for my family to get together to have breakfast here, and with our varied schedules, its nice to get together and sit and talk over delicious food.

Honestly NOT one of the best IHOP restaurants out there, if you want good service drive those extra miles down to the one in Glendale on Glendale blvd, they cook the food so much better and the coffee is always fresh. Enjoy.

Had breakfast here one sunday with a friend and was really craving some pancakes. We were seated right away in a booth. Place was starting to get busy being that it was mid-morning by the time we walked in the door. I wanted pancakes but I also wanted breakfast food so I was a little confused why I didnt see the option right away in the breakfast portion of the menu. Then I finally spotted the option I was looking for which allowed me to pick one of their signature pancake short stacks and also have bacon, eggs and hash browns. I went for the strawberry banana pancakes(2 pancakes, banana slices, some strawberries and strawberry pancake syrup). It was good and definitely hit the spot. I couldve used a little more whipped topping on top of that stack but it was still good. The eggs I ordered scrambled were pretty standard. It comes with 2 bacon strips and hash browns. They were your typical breakfast staples and tasted nothing out of the ordinary. Our server was friendly but was a little too exuberant on his part. We also ordered the same thing to go and wanted it brought out towards the end of our meal and he asked us if we wanted it when were just getting started. That was weird… Then he asked us again when I was about halfway through my meal and just told him maybe in 10 mins. We didnt have the heart to tell him we already told him when we wanted the takeout to be ready. Maybe he was new but I hope he catches on quick cause some people might not like being quizzed like that. This IHOP location is convenient. Plenty of parking that is shared with the other businesses in the area. I would go back to this place again.

I’ve never had a bad experience here! I live around the area and the customer service has always been wonderful, they take good care of me and whoever I come with. I like their menu and they ALWAYS have delicious fries. Can’t get busy mornings but it is one of the best iHop locations!
