History
Established in 1966.
Originated as a Gumball Machine route. The owner at that time was asked by a couple of Gas Stations if he could get Road Maps for the Stations. He did. Then the mechanics were wondering about Hunting Maps. He got those too. The owner sold the business to a gentleman that did signs with Flags as a Sidelines and he wanted just to build the business a little and sell it. People started asking for Flags from the Map Store. And it became Tucson Map and Flag. As it grew, the owner sold the business in 1993 to an employee that had just received a Master’s Degree in Geography and wanted to open his own store. And he has been the owner for the last 22 years.

Charles S.
Business Owner
Charles S is the owner and General Manager of Tucson’s Map and Flag Center for the last 23 years. With a Master’s Degree in Geography from the University of Arizona, he feels that he is exactly the right person to own the map store.
