Specialties

The Tucson Jewish Community Center is a thriving place for families and adults of all ages. For more than 60 years the JCC has provided quality preschool and afterschool programs, a full fitness facility with more than 100 weekly classes included with your membership, a robust arts & culture program and so much more. The JCC is also home to the popular cinematic event, The Tucson International Jewish Film Festival which features excellent films that you won’t see anywhere else. Our fitness center not only includes classes and fitness equipment, but we also offer personal training, massage, adult & youth leagues, an excellent swim team, a Jr. Olympic pool, clay tennis courts, and a splash park. Members also receive a discount on our rental facilities. The options are endless at the J and you don’t have to be Jewish to join. All faiths are welcome!

History

Established in 1949.

The JCC had many different «homes» before its home on River and Dodge. It began as a center «without walls» where people would meet at various locations for classes and programs. Then it moved to a storefront on Plumer and finally landed at its permanent location at River and Dodge in 1989 with the help of some very generous donors.
