The Tucson Clay Co-​op offers adult and children’s classes in wheel throwing, hand building, sculpture and mosaics. We rent studio space.

We offer a variety of clay parties what can be customized to your family or organization’s needs. We offer an on site paint bar as well as do

mobile paint bar and clay classes for the housebound. We have a pottery gallery featuring fine functional pottery as well as one of a kind art pieces.

History

Established in 2000.

Maxine Krasnow, ran pottery classes in her backyard when she moved to Tucson in 1998, because his son had asthma,. In 2000, she moved her home school to the Muse Community Art Center, where it stayed and was know as Muse Pottery. In 2005 Muse became the Tucson Clay Co-​op. We moved to our beloved Dodge location in 2006 where we enjoy being in the country and having the outdoor space for a wonderful garden as well as a variety of kilns.
