Tree Removal Service

We had a tree fall down during a storm, damaging our fence and a neighbor’s roof. Got a couple estimates, but Tree Removal Service was not only the cheapest, but also the best service and seemed the most knowledgeable. The gentleman doing the estimating (the owner?) was very professional, seemed to know what he was doing, and most importantly, during the estimate he mentioned additional safety measures they would be taking to prevent further damage.
The crew showed up earlier than expected (this may not be a plus for everyone, but in our case, it was an emergency so the sooner it was done the better), and did the work extremely fast. By the time they had cleaned up, it truly looked as if there had never been any tree there at all! Very speedy, professional service, and I would absolutely use them again.

My large mesquite needs to come out because one of its large roots is damaging my foundation. The tree is overhanging my garage, and my neighbor’s wall. When Chris came out to take a look, I told him I’d need to see current insurance documentation. He said ok. He sent me a reasonable quote, with an insurance cert attached.
Unfortunately, the insurance cert was for a different company at a different address. I asked Chris if it was ok for me to call his insurance agent to confirm that this insurance really covers «Tree Removal Service», which may be DBA from the insured company. Chris immediately wrote back to retract his proposal. I assume that his company is not really insured, or he would have provided proper paperwork.
The company may very well do good work, but if contractor’s insurance is important to you, you better check carefully before hiring them.

I had the need for removal of a 30′ pine tree that my homeowners insurance mandated be removed. I solicited 4 bids from local businesses and Tree Removal Service proved to be without peer both in professionalism as well as overall cost. They were the sole company that provided verifiable reviews, indemnity certificates, and professional proposal documents. This first impression was followed up by a confirmed date and time for the service. They arrived on the date and the time that they contracted and immediately went to work. Their professionalism was obvious from start to finish. The team that Chris brought with him were all knowledgeable and courteous. They went to work and within a few short hours had removed the tree, as well as the stump. When they finished the removal they set about cleaning the yard where the tree once stood and when they completed their work, there was absolutely no evidence that a tree had ever been there. There was not a single piece of debris that was left. Chris even went above and beyond what he was contracted for when at my request he cut a slice off of the trunk for me to use in a wood project that I wanted to do. It is uncommon in my experience that a company exceeds expectations in every way but Tree Removal Service does just that. I rarely give out superlative reviews but Chris deserves it. I hope not to require his services again but if I were in need, I would not hesitate to call upon him again. I recommend him without reservation. Good service is a declining commodity in today’s environment but they proved to be the expectation. Kudos to Chris and his expert workers.

I regularly visit
and the BBB website to locate reliable businesses for the home improvement projects I have. One of my current projects is having some trees removed from my yard. After seeing the other two glowing reviews on
, I called Tucson Tree Removal Service for an estimate. The experience I had was completely different than the other two already listed here.
First, Chris showed up 40 minutes earlier than the agreed-​upon appointment time. This would not have been a problem if he had called me ahead of time to see if showing up that early was okay with me. However, he did not make that courtesy phone call. I tried to lock up my cat as quickly as possible and answered the door. Chris introduced himself, but he had no business card to offer me.
As he walked through my home, he took the lead and asked which way to turn to get to the backyard. When he got to the back door, he started unlocking it and trying to force it open. I actually had to intervene to finish unlocking the door. I’ve had numerous handymen, plumbers, electricians, etc. out to my house. Not one of them has ever tried to open or close any of my doors or windows. They always let me handle that.
When we were in my yard, I asked him for an estimate that would include stump grinding and another estimate without that service/​cost. He shared that they are currently performing stump grinds as a complimentary service. Then he asked me what quotes I’ve been getting from other businesses. I told him that I wanted *his* estimate for the cost of this tree removal. I consider the timing of his question completely unprofessional. If he had given me an estimate, and then I was trying to negotiate with him, I could understand asking for the prices from competitors. Even asking to see documentation of those quotes to determine if he wanted to underbid them. However, that’s not what transpired. I perceived his question to be overbearing, and I felt completely uncomfortable in my own yard. To his credit, Chris did realize that something must be wrong because he asked me if he had done anything to upset me. I pointed out how early he was and that he had not presented me with a business card. He apologized and said that he had a business card and other paperwork in his truck.
He stood at my front door for a few more minutes trying to extol the virtues of his company. He seemed like he really wanted to make a better impression. However, he still had not given me an estimate on the tree removal. I had to interrupt him to tell him that all the information he was telling me, I had already read on his company’s website. I wanted his estimate. He finally gave me that estimate and I thanked him.
I would consider his estimate as somewhat competitive. I have one other estimate that is higher, and a few that are lower. However, as a female homeowner, I would question whether or not I would feel comfortable hiring Chris and his crew. I’ve decided not to hire Tucson Tree Removal Service.

My father recently had a large tree fall in his backyard. We were so pleased by the great service provided by Chris and his crew in removing a very large tree that had fallen as a result of a strom. They were extremely professional, and hard working. I was amazed at how quickly they responded after I called them. Their quote for the work was very reasonable. They completed the entire process quickly, removed, and cleaned up the debris so that it was difficult to tell that the tree had ever been there. I highly recommend them, and their wonderful service.

disappoint. Chris is a personable business owner who gets what
a fair price and good customer service means. His estimate was
prompt and he and his crew showed up on time, finished on scheduled and left as if they’d never been there. This will be my
go to company when my trees have needs.
