I was happy to see this truck on the side of the road… Mexicali style tacos de cabeza & birria!
We stopped by and tried everything! The hubby and I shared a plate of birria and had tacos de lengua (tongue) and tacos de cabeza (head). I know that if youve never heard of or tried these tacos they will sound weird to you, but trust me, they are delicious. The flavors are great and come really close to mexicali style tacos that im used to from back home.
You also need to try the bottled horchata and other mexican drinks they sell, they taste great.
We had the opportunity to chat with the owner, which is from Mexicali, Mx, and he actually knew some of my husbands family!
Give these tacos a try they are great.
