New customer for life. Fantastic service… La Cholla Landscaping is the company I will use from now on! Michael came out to our home, I explained what we needed (he provided great feedback), Once I received the estimate, I made a couple changes and received a revised estimate. I also received a phone call from the owner confirming everything (GREAT move).
We were having friends over on Friday and wanted our yard all fixed/​cleaned up (many new plants, rock work and a good amount of clean up before Friday. Patrick and Thomas came out the day before showed up early and worked very hard and very efficiently. AMAZING is the only word I can use for Patrick and Thomas and what they created that morning.
They were fast but not in a «rude rush» like so many companies today that just want to come in slam down the stuff and leave. I very much appreciate that Patrick took the extra time to take care all our landscaping needs that day.
Our yard now looks GREAT

Great company! In planning a move from Tucson to Albuquerque, I contacted Swanson’s for a quote to pack, load, transport and unload our entire house. Rick came by and quoted us a great price. Once moving day came around, they showed up on time as promised, packed up and loaded the whole house in just over 4 hours and delivered the next morning by 8:00 am. The whole team was friendly, courteous and incredibly careful and professional. Not one single glitch in our move thanks to them!

Wow awful customer service. I called in to ask for some help and the guy I talked with was so rude. I wish I had gotten his name. 100% turned me off from this company and I will be going with another. There’s no need to treat potential customers like that.

Swanson’s Moving and Delivery was FANTASTIC ! I just moved from our home in Oro Valley and needed to store our belongings till we move into our next home. Dan and David were amazing. I do not live in Arizona as my primary home and was a bit nervous abot hiring movers as I have heard horror stories about some movers in Tucson. They were professional, helpful beyond nice and finished moving out my boxes and furniture in less than two hours (10 minutes to spare). Thank you so much, I was so stressed about this and you made the move perfect! Their prices are fair and I look forward to moving into our new home soon. Family Businesses need to stay around and this family does it right!

Relocating to a new state has been crazy stressful, but one thing that I didn’t have to stress about was getting an entire household of stuff from point A to point B. I’d heard so many nightmare stories about people’s belongings being held up for weeks, items being damaged or stolen, movers that would hold people’s stuff «hostage» in an attempt to extort more money out of them, I was a bit apprehensive about hiring a moving company. Our move was complicated by the fact that we were moving our things out of our house into storage in order to do some renovations, then move it again a few months later after buying a new house. I wanted to stick with a small, locally owned company, but most of them didn’t do moves out of state. Most moving companies also didn’t have the capacity to store things either — they contracted that portion out, adding another set of hands that would be handling our stuff.
I interviewed four different companies, and after meeting with Dave the owner, there was no question as to who we’d be giving the job to. Swanson’s is a small, family owned and operated company, and the people who handle your move from start to finish are all part of that family. They were extremely careful with our things, expertly handled difficulty items (like our antique upright piano that weighs a TON), and quite efficient. They were also mindful in our home, using caution on the hardwood floors and in narrow doorways that despite the difficulty in navigating, made it through the moving process unscathed. Swanson’s has their own storage warehouses, so the same people who were moving our things also housed them until we purchased a new home. They also brought by extra boxes (like wardrobe and china boxes) prior to us packing, which I thought was a nice touch.
They were great about communicating, and we knew exactly when our things would arrive. Again, moving in was expertly handled, mindfully executed, and swift. When Dave had concerns that something may have been damaged, he pointed it out to my husband, which shows a lot of integrity on their part (as it turned out, the item was just fine). I have nothing but praise for the job they did.
Moving sucks, and I hope not to have to do it again anytime soon… But if I do, Swanson’s will be one of the first calls I make.

Wow, Andrew and Dave came and took care of our very small (but critical to us!) job of moving furniture within our house. We had a super heavy desk that we could not move ourselves, as well as some other furniture. Some stuff moved around, some of it we had them haul away. They were so fast and efficient, and very pleasant to deal with. Not one item damaged in any way and they took off their shoes in deference to our new carpeting. They totally rock and were worth every penny (although I did some comparative bids and everyone I got bids from was in the same price range so Swanson’s was not more expensive). Would definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with Swanson Moving a couple of months ago. I needed to move all of my stuff in a 2-​bedroom duplex from Tucson to Los Angeles. I contacted Swanson, and they were able to give me a quote over the phone as I described my setup. Later in the week, they stopped by to look at things in person and confirmed their first quote: $ 2000 to move all of my stuff, and an extra $ 500 to pack it up.
The only drawback I had with their service was that they were late by an hour when they were supposed to pack everything up, and late by another hour when they dropped off in California. However, they were extremely careful, thorough, and efficient in packing and moving. They took only about 2.5 hours to pack everything up (and similar to unload) when I had expected it to take 4 – 5 hours. Very impressed.
Do yourself a favor and use them for moving – a great local company and very good at what they do.

We’ve used Swanson’s on two occasions and both times the service was impeccable. The Swanson brothers were very efficient and extremely careful with our furnishings and the challenges were not ordinary — narrow hallways, 12 foot high railings, stair cases, extremely heavy furniture, and a long driveway. Quite frankly we were concerned about moving our finer things, including expensive art, but they did it well. Nothing was damaged. The Swanson brothers are a pleasure to do business with and, of course, we’d use them again. Barry L.

I attempted to get a quote and schedule a move six weeks in advance of the move. I emailed four times and spoke with them once. I couldn’t get them to commit to the date, so I went with Two Guys. Ridiculous service.

I called Swanson’s on Monday. They Moved us on Wednesday. We were a disaster buy they were fantastic. It took five hours to move a house full of stuff across town. If we had been better prepared, I’m sure they could have done it in four or less. I chose them because of Unilocal,and I wanted to make sure I spread the word too. They are priced right and very efficient.

We hired Swanson’s to move furniture (from an office to our home) because of the reviews on Unilocal and we were not disappointed. They called the night before to confirm the time and place. They were on time, courteous and did a wonderful job. We would definitely use them again– plus they were very reasonable!

Our family moved in May, 2012. You could not ask for better movers. Pricewise they were great but their service and attitude was the best we have encountered. Rick wanted to make sure we were satisfied with everything they did. He hooked up our ice maker on the refrigerator without me asking and at no additional cost! I don’t think you could find better movers!

These guys are the best moving experience I have ever had. They showed up on time, were courteous, polite, did a great job. There price was way less than the other quotes I got. They made sure everything was in working order and I did not need anything moved. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Swanson quoted me 60% of what the other Tucson moving company I contacted wanted. They were courteous, on-​time, flexible, and worked so hard on a Tucson summer day that I sincerely worried that they might get heat stroke. They moved my one bedroom apartment’s worth of furniture off the moving truck and up one flight of stairs in only an hour and cheerfully moved my furniture around when I changed my mind about where it should go.
As long as I’m in Tucson, I’ll use Swanson for all my professional moving services.

Swanson’s Furniture did the most amazing job helping my mom move from Tucson, AZ to Oceanside, CA! From the first call they were completely helpful, friendly, and extremely reasonable.
