Went to see Joel today. He was quick, efficient, and I love my color. My hair always ends up gold after color and today I finally got my ash blonde! Plus this is only the second time I’ve had a dry cut and its great!

Joel did a wonderful job on my hair color! He was very professional and made me laugh! The results came out wonderful and it was just what I wanted. I also loved the product he used. The salon was very chic and neat and had an awesome vibe to it. I will be returning to this salon.

Joel did an excellent job coloring and cutting my hair. He provided suggestions, showed me samples of different color, and was very professional. It is obvious that he knows what he is doing. I felt very comfortable here and it was very laid back. The salon is very nice too. I will definitely be coming back to this spot for future hair appointments. I definitely recommend!

I had a very similar experience as the other customers had. I don’t like being bullied. I thank Groupon for being a great company and making it right.

Sierra is fantastic! With my schedule I was just using whoever I could get into quickly for my haircut. Well, the last haircut was really bad. My hair was sticking up all over. I looked really bad and I was tired of one bad haircut after another. I have a few cowlick so it can be difficult to cut my hair. I decided to use Sierra at Studio S and she did a fantastic job. She not only gave me a great haircut she actually was able to cut it so it no longer sticks up by the cowlick. Her service was great and the products she has are the best. If you have difficult hair and find it hard to find someone that knows how to cut it correctly, she is the best. I can recommend her to anyone that needs a haircut. I know she cuts both me & woman’s hair too. Sierra is a true professional and a master at her profession. Thank you Sierra!

From my wife: Well, thank you Joel and Studio S for nearly ruining my wedding. Here are a few ways you guys went above and beyond into utter awfulness. 1. Weddings run on tight schedules, did you know this Joel? Being 20 minutes late for an appointment we set throws off every part of the day. 2. Generally it is good to listen to your client right? As she is saying«I don’t like this, this isn’t what I want?» 3. For a wedding, I like my hair to look good. Crazy right? Not like a hot mess on my head. I looked like a demented sheep. 4. And you were so deeply deeply sympathetic to me! As I was crying, not a word of comfort, no attempt to apologize, just«that will be 85 bucks please.» In conclusion, go elsewhere! Update: you can see their reply below… and let me add a fifth way. Completely unapologetic! Let me address Sierra’s replies: 1. Since our experience happened at the space through one of your contractor’s, it is of course completely appropriate to leave our review here! 2. It is good advice to make our appointment longer than a day in advance… and in fact we did. A week in advance. Not sure what my coming from Russia has to do with anything. 3. By «entourage» you mean my wedding photographer? That was the only person with me except when my sister-in-law picked me up at the end. Do you really not want people to bring in their wedding photographer’s in these situations? And how did having my photographer present affect Joel’s ability? Answer: none, but you are scrambling for excuses instead of apologizing. 4. Let me answer you Sierra: you should listen to the person whose hair you are styling. Wow! Revolutionary! Did that really need to be specified to Joel? 5. I had no problem with my «veil»(nice unnecessary quotes though!). Not was it about my curls… your cryptic comment about shortness or something is great deflection. Let me simplify it: Joel did a bad job and was unsympathetic.
