We had a problem with our trunk which had developed while travelling and one of the service people was nice enough to check it out and tell us it was just a hinge adjustment and we would be fine til we got home.

As an integral from me less than 6 months ago and it started peeling call them about a warranty work and they said there was no coverage took it to another painter locally they said they didn’t put primer on if they didn’t even send it down they just they say shot me and let it go by far the worst paint job in the world I think last lesson 6 months costed me $ 300 to paint a real the size so 2 feet by 3 feet would highly recommend to go to a professional shop these guys are a rip off

This is the second time we have taken a car here to be repaired. They did such a good job the first time, we brought a second car here years later. They were extremely reasonable in their quote. They matched a really unique paint. They fixed the damage and had us up and running, and had the car looking like new in record time. Great communication. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them and will continue to bring my cars here.

Thank you so much Spectrum!!! I moved to Tucson not too long ago, and my new car was vandalized by some low-​life who took a rock and scraped it all along three panels of my mid-​size SUV. I was so sad, but also felt clueless as to where to take my car to get fixed. I had had AWFUL experiences at the Watson Chevrolet dealership where I had purchased the car, so I took to Unilocal to look at reviews. After reading up about a lot of places, I settled on Spectrum. This place went beyond my expectations of an auto body shop. Leah, who answered the phone, was awesome and helpful. Javier, the owner, is such a professional and definitely knows what he is doing. Not to mention, he has a college degree (from the best university ever, besides ASU, USC) and does a lot within the community of Marana. In other words, a class act person who is not trying to swindle you. I felt so comfortable after I left, with an awesome quote and great customer service. My car was ready in a couple days and looked just like new. Bottomline: Even though I wish my car was never vandalized, Spectrum was the best thing to come out of the situation.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else after getting such great service and results from bringing my car into Spectrum. I was in a bad accident where my bumper was almost torn off, taillight broken and back end of my vehicle was badly damaged, and now my car pretty much looks brand new. Javier Avalos helped me from start to finish and was thorough and handled everything with the insurance companies so I didn’t have to do much work at all. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here if you need repairs or bodywork done. You will not be disappointed. The customer service was excellent and I would definitely take my car here again, even if it wasn’t something covered by insurance. They took great care of my car and I didn’t worry one bit about it while it was in their care. Great service all around!

We took our car in to have the door repaired and they did an excellent job. I was impressed I couldn’t tell the car had ever had any damage. They got my car completed on time and it even came back cleaned! A big thanks to the staff.

Unfortunately, I was in a car accident and was reared ended. Being from out of state (student) I had no idea where were any body shops. The guy’s insurance set me up with Spectrum in ordered to get my smashed-​in bumper fixed. I called and was greeted by Javier, a very nice fellow. I set up a date to drop off my car and they also set me up with a car rental. Being my first accident experience, I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived, Javier and his staff were very friendly and took care of me! They care a lot about customer service, and kept updating me about my car and how they were going to fix it, showing me pictures and explaining thoroughly. They walked me through the process and in no time had my car back and it looked like nothing ever happened! I would recommend this place, the service I got and the way I was treated was impeccable. My mother brought her car here and received horrible service and they damaged the car in the process. I’m leaving this review per her request. She worked in Customer Service for 30yrs and has received numerous certificates of recognition. So she knows what she’s talking about. If she has something bad to say about a business, which is surprising for me… then it must be VERY BAD, because she doesn’t complain that often.
She took her car to get a bumper repair and painted and when she went to pick it up, she said it looked like a five year old had done the work. It was crappy! The manager agreed to re-​paint the bumper. When she picked up the car the second time around, there was damage to her vehicle, that occurred while it was under the care of Spectrum Auto. The manager then agreed to fix the damage that they had caused while the car was under their care. She proceeded to take a second vehicle to the shop to have her rear-​hatch painted for an SUV and to have the vehicle detailed. She we went to pick up the SUV and her back window had grind marks on it, from sanding the hatch during the paint job. The auto shop then proceeded to wax the back window, to hide the damage that they had caused from the grind marks into her back-​hatch window. Also this vehicle was to be detailed, and the detail job was the worst detailing job she had ever seen. Spectrum Auto, waxed over all the bugs on her vehicle and her tires looked like they had been urinated on. She pointed all of this out to the manager, Javier, and he did nothing but give her a line of BS and made up excuses after excuses. She went back to talk to him, to give him the opportunity to make this right, with the damage that was caused by the grinder to her back hatch window, and to redo the lousy inadequate detail job, and Javier basically said he would do nothing for her. She said this is the worst customer service from an AutoBody shop, that she has received in years. Not only was the manager very unprofessional and did not want to take responsibility of what his shop had done to her cars, but he was also condescending and insulting and refused to make good on the services that she paid his company for. She was very dissatisfied with this company, and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone taking their car to this company! This company is a sham and embarrassment to Automotive Industry! STAY AWAY!

I was referred to Spectrum Auto Collision by my insurance. From my first point of contact with Henry for an estimate, to speaking with other staff via phone, I was treated with exceptional customer service. At the time of my car drop off, the paperwork and car rental were completed efficiently.
Not to mention, the repair on my car was completed fast and before the estimated time of completion. To top it off, Javier was very warm and personable. He helped me out greatly when he dropped my car off at work so that I did not have to pay for another day of car rental fees.
I am completely satisfied with the work and service that I received from Spectrum. I highly recommend this place and wiil be telling all my friends and family about it, too!

The entire staff knows the meaning of customer service. As a woman, I have been ignored more often than not when I bring my vehicle to be serviced, but at Spectrum, I was warmly greeted and taken exceptionally good care of. Originally I went in to have a damaged bumper painted and fixed, but they were so wonderful that I decided to make them my primary care garage — new tires, grease and oil, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this business!!!

Love this place! I took my husband’s truck to be repaired and not only did they do a wonderful job, but it was quick, efficient and they arranged my rental car and everything! I have recommended to others who sing high praises as well. Would highly recommend!

So I took my wife’s Boxster to work one day and after lunch parked and the emergency break did not set and the car rolled back into a tree (thankfully not another car). I put a huge dent in the rear fender and the entire wrap around piece need replacement. I brought it over to Spectrum and they had it fixed and back to me looking perfect in only 4 days. They also fixed a couple of things on the front end as well at no additional cost. The repair was a fraction of what the dealer would have charged and the service was quick and well done. Highly Recommended!

I do think they did a good job after a lackluster start on their customer service. They said the car would be ready in 7 days (is this what they tell everyone regardless of how long it will really take?). Two other shops told us 14 days so we thought we’d go with the quickest place (all prices were the same). It was 2 ½ weeks before we got the car back — frustrating. The girl up front couldn’t care less but Javier did offer a free rental car which was nice. Still, they got the business because of the short turnaround but then couldn’t deliver.

I, unfortunately, backed into another car going about 2 MPH and put a good sized divot in my bumper. I’ve been dreading getting it fixed because the first shop (some name with a 3– digit emergency number in it, wink, wink!) I took it to quoted me over $ 650, claimed it couldn’t be popped out, insisted it be replaced and that it would take several days to fix.
After months of this eyesore and putting it off, I found reviews for Spectrum Auto Paint & Collision on Google and saw plenty of positive reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. I came by on a Thursday afternoon, was immediately assisted and received an estimate for half the cost in less than 15 minutes! He also was positive he could repair it without replacing it. He also could have Enterprise rental car come by, pick me up and put me in a rental overnight for $ 18.95 which is a huge relief since I’m single and work a 40+ hour a week job. I brought it the following Monday and had it back Tuesday.
The ladies at Spectrum went above and beyond with their customer service. The workmanship (from a layman’s eye) is superb. Never could tell I had a mishap! I will be recommending this shop to everyone I know.

Located outside the technical limits of Tucson, their standard labor rate is a good 4 dollars less than in the city. Couple that with my pity story and my student status, and I got another 4 dollars off labor ($ 44 is standard).
After having my car totaled by an uninsured driver and receiving a less than adequate payout from my insurance company, I needed a place that would fix my car with parts that I brought it, not new parts that they ordered, and make my car look new again. I checked reviews and the better business bureau, and decided that this place would do a good job of re-​making my car.
Ina Road Auto Collision, or Spectrum Auto Paint and Collision, I can’t figure out which name they go by, was a horrible experience. Customer service is just awful and the work they do does not appear to be top notch.
The experience started off well. Because my car was rendered immobile, they came to my house to write up an estimate. They did require a large window of time on a Friday morning/​afternoon, but the man who came was friendly.
I did some preliminary work on my car and drove it to the shop. When I dropped off the car I had them write a new estimate substituting the parts I brought in. I explicitly told the man writing this up that I wanted a scratch on my trunk lid to be fixed and that I wanted all dents to be filled in on the used parts I was bringing in. I was quoted 1 week.
One week later I received a phone call that my car was ready for pick up. They offer door-​to-​door service, but could not pick me up because 10 miles is too far for them to come and get me. So I paid a cab 30 dollars to drop me off at the shop. I sat down and was asked how I would like to pay. «I’d like to see my car before I pay.» I sat at the receptionist’s desk for ten minutes before being told that my car was not ready. I insisted that someone drive me home. Two hours later I was driven home.
A week after this I got a second phone call that my car was ready. I insisted again that they pick me up, and they did, and as we pulled into the parking lot I could see my finished car. At least this time I knew it was done. I walked around the car and saw that none of the dents were filled in and they did not fix the scratch on the trunk lid like I asked. I talked to the man who wrote the second estimate, and he lied to me about what I told him during the initial estimate. I can’t fathom a body shop that would just paint over dents.
They also needed to pull out one of my fender aprons. After doing this, the bumper didn’t fit right. There’s an inch or so of space under the left headlights and millimeters under the right headlights. Pre-​accident there was no space beneath either.
I came expecting the same level of quality as at my California body shop and that was not what I got. Considering the other reviews of this place, people in Arizona must just have lower expectations.
