Just like any other doctors office, if you have a later in the day appointment you should be prepared to wait a little bit. Dr. Sameer Jain is WORTH that wait though. He has performed two hand surgeries on me since November 2014-once after I destroyed the tendons, nerves, arteries, and veins in a finger with a can opener and then a scar tissue clean up in September 2015. Dr. Jain is thorough, articulate, compassionate, sharp, and definitely listened to my desires. I had many questions about what I could or couldn’t do and how soon, he understood my desire to get back to lifting weights as quick as possible and also understood my concerns and stressed the timing of the scar tissue clean up to give me the best change of increase mobility. He personally called to check up on me the day after surgery and my hand therapist said he also personally called her while I was in the recovery room to discuss what he found in the clean up surgery. She indicates he is one of the top in town! Added bonus-he has a personality, even joked around with me in surgery. I am very grateful his office was the one who called me back after the Urgent Care doctor suggested I find a specialist and that I was set up with him.

The best hand/shoulder/elbow surgeon in Arizona is Dr. Joel Thompson. I cannot say enough good things about him. He has done 5 surgeries on me, 2 surgeries on my Dad and he has seen my daughter and mother-in-law as well. He is so kind and considerate and exceptionally talented. My second carpal tunnel surgery was scheduled for 2PM, and I was home by 530PM, then back to work the same night at 11PM. He is that good. You cannot see any of the scars I have. His MA, Tracey, is fantastic! I don’t know what my family and I would have done without her.

I have been seeing Dr. Thomas Butler since 2003. He has performed seven surgeries on both hands, both elbows, and both shoulders. The most recent one this July. I am completely satisfied with all of the results. He does such good work, the scars are very hard to find. My carpal tunnel syndrome has been non-exisitent for 10 yrs. I will continue to see Dr. Butler for all future needs. One tip: Make your appointments for as early in the day as you can. His schedule gets backed up though out the day with the last appts being the longest wait times.

I really felt that this DR I saw here was just seeing me to meet his patient quota. I went there for help and advice, and all I got was a Dr who didn’t know how to interact with patients. I would try and ask a question about my shoulder and he never really responded to my questions. I waited an hour and half to only see him for 10 minutes, this is so typical of a Dr’s office.

I went here today with my mom for an appointment. I have to say I was really disappointed. Positive: the Dr was really nice, the location is centrally located Negative: we were told to be there 15 minutes early so she could have her xray done before the appt and then they didn’t call her until 5 minutes after her appt time and then didn’t see the Dr until an hour after the xray was done!
