Love this place. It’s close to my work and has a great authentic feel. I’ve gotten many things here and nothing has disappointed. They have great fresh fish(by Arizona standards) and great noodle dishes. My favorite is tempura udon. Lunch time gets super busy so I’d recommend going around eleven. They have fair prices and great food so I’d recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

After eating there again last evening I realized that I’ve never left a review for Sachiko. Maybe it’s because I go there so often it just slipped my mind… However I’ve been there so many times and they are always reliable. Very consistent and it may not be perfect in every way it’s still very very good sushi for Tucson. Pros: Fresh ingredients and lots of specials. Cons: Not the most elegant environment and service can sometimes be a tad slower than what you may expect. However 4 solid stars and highly recommended.

Great service, and very friendly, attentive staff. It feels very authentic and the food is always fresh!(The cooked dishes always hot and the sushi always fresh!)

This restaurant has a sign up front with a picture of a woman that dined and dashed. Honestly, with how long it takes just to get the check, I don’t be her. Don’t even get me started about how long it takes to get food. Given this place two chances, the food is decent but it just takes way too long.

Mmmmm… delicious sushi! Plus their sushi comes out really fast, which is great! Customer service is either very friendly or very«businesslike» but overall is fine. It looks small from the outside but is much bigger than what it looks like. Their sushi is delicious but I found their food to be somewhat bland. Overall a cute restaurant and a good find.

I went here because a friend kept raving about how it’s the best sushi in town! As I sat there eating I almost texted him to see just what exactly he ordered it would make him rave so much. I ordered four different types of sushi and shortly upon arrival to my table it was falling apart. Eating it was a chore; there was nothing pleasurable about eating it. I often only order water with lemon as a beverage, and I did the same thing here. The waitress brought me some water and I asked her if I could please have some women, she said, «no «. I was a bit stunned and asked again thinking there was a language barrier her and she told me no lemon! That was a bit odd to me, but perhaps they don’t have lemon? As I completed my mess of my meal and my waitress took my dishes I told her she could go ahead and bring my check. Seriously, people came in after I asked for my check and they got their check before I got mine. I sat, waiting, for over 30 minutes for my check. As I sat waiting for my check the waitress came and refilled my water and I mentioned to her again and I would take my check anytime. Still, no check. Much of the time waiting for my check she stood at the counter watching me, gazing around, serving other customers. Perhaps next time I will try them again with my friend. I hate to think that they’re always this bad especially when I have heard such good things about him.

Visited again on 4⁄2. The sushi rolls came to the table not as cold as I’d prefer. I hesitated but decided not to say anything. Biggest mistake ever. My body is still paying for this. It’s been a week. I am still not back to normal. Won’t be returning.

Delicious food, quick service. Had edamame, shrimp tempura roll, super Vegas roll and miso soup. Highly recommend for quick, reasonably priced good sushi.

We came here for the ramen, but ended up finding our new favorite sushi place. It was delicious and was a good rice to sushi ratio which we’ve had trouble with at other places in Tucson. We also tried the Tokyo ramen and the miso ramen(which come with 4 pieces of sushi on the side). The atmosphere here was welcoming and down to earth. Will be back :)

Food was good, but when we got there we were waiting to be seated for quite a bit which was displeasing, but we liked our sushi and it wasn’t too expensive. My date got the Vegas roll and I got some vegetarian rolls with brown rice, which I like that they offer brown rice as that is rare in Tucson! It is a nice place, very busy. Would recommend

My friend took me telling me the service was good. We were completely ignored. All we wanted was our waters to be filled. The lady was rude from the start. Never going back again.

The spicy ramen here is delicious! It has minced pork and veggies with really tasty and spicy broth. The noodles are also nice and tender. We had a delightful waitress who was both helpful and funny. All orders of ramen also come with a freshly made California roll and it’s also about $ 10. I hope to go back and try more of the food soon.

Our favorite sushi place in town! We go a couple times a month. Tasty sushi(I like the Sachiko Special roll.) They tolerate our preschooler well, despite the mess. And as a mom, I appreciate that they hide the lollipop from our daughter when bringing the check!

It was good when u don’t go alone. I went there alone and they don’t ask me what i want to drink, they didnt ask am i ready to order and they forgot my miso soup and didn’t have me candy with the check! I have to ask them to do everything in person! They just ignored me! It’s a big difference when I go with other people! Worst service ever!

I love this place! The chefs are always smiling and ready for conversation(if the customer wants). The waiters are quick and efficient, as are the Sushi Chefs. It isn’t anything fancy or over the top. It is a quaint and comfortable place. The rolls are perfect, delicious, bite size, and server in a timely manner. One of my favorites is the Vegas Roll. When I have ordered the Vegas Roll at other sushi restaurants, they were too big to take in one bite. I had to take two or three bites. Then the roll didn’t taste as great because you weren’t getting all the ingredients in one bite. With the Vegas Roll at Sachiko, you are able to take one bite and get the melody of flavors all at once, like you are supposed too. This is another restaurant where my picky little eater finds plenty to eat. Even if he is being unusually picky, they are willing to accommodate. What a great restaurant with a plethora of dishes to choose from.

I have an amazing discovery for a place I thought I new but just keeps surprising me. They have this amazing Tantan Ramen(たんたんめん). It’s amazing and spicy. The minced pork gives a yummy taste in every bit. See my pic.

Sushi is once again great here! I prefer sushi bar to sitting at table as it seems if I come alone I am ignored by waitresses but if I sit at table with my husband service is much better. They give generous portions and love the squid salad and cucumber salad and then combine them. Their spicy salmon and tuna are excellent as well as hand rolls. They are very accommodating if you have a large group and of close convenient as in same shopping area as Trader Joes. Excellent green tea

Dungeness crab jalapeño roll is incredible! Get it with eel sauce too… best in Tucson! The service is horrible though. You really have to be in them for drink refills and miso soup. They kicked out a lady with a service dog because they weren’t aware that is illegal. Now there’s a sign on the door saying no pets except service animals do maybe it’s getting better. I watched them embarrass that lady do my respect is at zero but the rolls are great!

I’m really torn about this place. On one hand, I had a fantastic meal here and truly some of the best sushi I’ve found in Tucson. On the other hand, it was pricey as can be and the fact that this place offers no sushi specials, happy hours, etc. really makes me wonder how they can expect to compete. I came in on a lunch break and ordered a vegas roll, spicy tuna, and spicy eel rolls. They wanted me to use the paper and pencil provided, but two of these rolls were not on it. The waitress, when she took my order, just wrote them at the bottom. Strange that they wouldn’t have updated those things. Ok, no big deal. The place has a nice ambiance, somehow feeling more authentic than other sushi places – like this might actually be what a sushi place in Japan might look like. All the people who work here are Japanese and so were many of the patrons… I felt in good hands. My sushi came and it was magnificent. Really fresh fish, great flavors. Even the wasabi seemed to have a better texture than at other places. All was well. Then the bill came. I had 3 rolls and an Iced Tea. After tax, I paid almost $ 30. Eeeesh. That’s a bit much. I paid, and before walking out asked one of the waitresses if they ever have any specials or happy hour, she pointed me to the lunch specials. Not exactly what I meant. The lunch specials are not sushi-focused. The best you get is like chicken teriyaki AND a california roll. Not what I’m coming to a sushi place for. I feel like every other sushi place has some sort of gimmick that they offer be it all-you-can-eat or half off rolls during X hours, etc. Not this place. I kinda get why, too. The sushi is exceptional. I get it. But for that price, Id probably rather go somewhere else most nights. It didnt seem to be hurting their business, the place was not crowded, but it was busy during weeknight dinner hours. I think I’m just going to have to be REALLY craving sushi before I spend my money like that again.
