RideNow Powersports Tucson

My husband and I come here quite frequently. We actually prefer this store more than the one on Ina. Yesterday, I brought my Can Am Spyder in to have the keys cloned because the other store lost our 2^nd key prior to us buying the bike. While it took several attempts to clone my key, the service guys never gave up and finally got it to work. Apparently the other store tried to clone keys and my bike only allows 4 keys to be made so the computer wouldn’t allow any more to be made. They reset the computer and got the keys to clone. We only got charged a minimal amount for service and were pleased with it.
Another bonus while being there was that it was Customer Appreciation so they were grilling hamburgers and had chips and soda. They also had a raffle going on.
The salesmen were not pushy. They asked if we needed help and were on their way when we explained that we didn’t.
I have bought parts from their parts department and they have special ordered things for us in the past. They do price match and I have done that almost every time going there. They also have incentive points that turn back into store credit when redeemed.
For all the negative reviews, I honestly only think that people report the negative over the good.

The good: Lots of bikes new and used, service and parts departments. Matches internet tire prices. Quick service, faster with an appointment. Friendly staff.
The Poor: Lots of salesmen (not pushy, but always there), will not work on BMW’s even to replace tires, unless you bring in wheel. Put tire on backwards the first time but quickly corrected the next day. Service department closes at 6pm and closed on Sundays.

If you can choose another place to have your motorcycle worked on I implore you to do so because this place will ruin your ride! So buying a motorcycle with a warrantee is useless here; you «may» get a nice bike but I personally wouldn’t trust them assembling it fresh out of the crate! Try CSA Motorsports on Swan, they’re very good! The custom pipes I had in stalled at Ride Now nearly fell off after a week went by… Stupid me, I trusted them once more with my 8,000 mile total tune up and they messed that up as well! I called them to tell them what they did wrong but the answering machine activated so I left them a message to call me back but they never did… I just called @ 4:45 pm 06÷20÷15 and asked for the store Manager, the lady put me on hold for a while then told me, «Oh, he just so happened to have gone home already»! She didn’t ask me if she could help, optimize me to an assistant manager, and just plainly didn’t care… This place can forever just so happen to kiss my _​_​_​!

Visited this location several times, once we received service, and the salesman confessed he didn’t like working there. I found a bike I wanted to purchase, after visiting every other bike shop in town. Got approved for a loan for my bike, from my bank. Went back to the bike I loved, and absolutely no service, Not even a Hello from any employees that were all walking around us. I’ve always bought with our Local stores, but I have no choice to purchase elsewhere.

Ride Now on 22^nd has a decent selection of bikes, both new and used. I go in quite often to see their inventory of new bikes to see if I like any of the new makes/​models. The problem lies in their prices. Holy heart failure, Batman! Absolutely ridiculous on their prices! I can spend the extra $ 60-​$ 80 on gas and drive anywhere from 100 – 300 miles in any direction and find better prices and STILL come out way cheaper on out-​the-​door prices for my bikes.
Their employees are always nice, but they also seem so pushy towards getting a sale. The last time I was in Ride Now on 22^nd the salesman that was following me around while I was looking at sport bikes tried to show me a side-​by-​side… which I had absolutely no interest in whatsoever. Just seemed odd to me. I tell them every single time, «I am just looking, I will let you know if I need anything»… and yet they still follow me around. It is really rather annoying but I understand they work on commission.
All in all, I would look here at their selection, but would never buy anything from them because of their prices. Do yourself a favor and shop around the rest of Tucson as well as Phoenix, you will find better deals.

I needed a CanAm part for a quad. Service department strongly insisted on taking my phone number to «Call me when the part comes in». Unfortunately I trusted them with my info. Now I get cold marketing machine calls from them on my cell. Did they call when the part eventually arrived? No. I had to keep checking with them for a couple weeks. Avoid!

Saw an ad on cycletrader for a 2013 Ninja1000 for $ 8600… Happened to be in Tucson on business. So thought why the hell not have an adventure… Buy it here and rude it home! I spoke with two sales men and they came back with $ 11 500.00!!!
$ 3,000.00 markup from advertised price. They eventually got to 9500.00 but i can get a 2014 for $ 9600 out the door.
Great looking store with lots of inventory.
Be prepared for massive markup.
I was ready to buy and ride it home… Oh well, i’ll pickup my 2014 soon.

Can’t ride so much anymore so I took in my cycle to see if Ride Now would be interested. The bike in question has obnoxiously low miles and still looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
While I waited I looked at their inventory and ran some of their bikes through NADA to get an idea of how much they were pricing. On average they were running a couple to several hundred over what NADA considers «average retail» price.
When someone did come to talk to me before even seeing the bike I was low balled on the price. Tried to feed me a line that they could not mark it up past what the «average retail» listed in NADA was, that finance companies would not be willing to finance more…
I understand they want to make a profit but treating people like they are rubes is unacceptable. Finance companies finance cars, motorcycle and other material every day that is not worth the «average retail». You can not tell me that if you have three bikes of the same year, make and model but in various conditions all three are going to sell for the same price.
Comes down to they were offering pawn store prices and were hoping I was either desperate for the cash, I did not know how the world works or I just did not care. I strongly suggest you do your research and home work before selling to them. Look in Bike Trader and other sites to see what your make and model is selling for and adjust from there.
Oh and they never did look at or inspect the bike.

Mike in the Service Department was very helpful when Hubby’s bike wasn’t shifting well.
We couldn’t take it very far this time, so Hubby rode it over there, Mike got him set up and the bike into the shop. Mike kept him informed throughout the work being done. When it got close to being completed, Mike let him know how much it was going to cost.
Mike also gave Hubby a quote for more extensive work that will need to be done in the near future. I’ll update my review depending on how that work goes.
But I’m really happy with Mike and how he’s handled working with Hubby. We’ve kept purchasing items at Ridenow and been happy with their Sales Department. I’m glad that the Service Dept is getting up there too!

They have the largest selection of motorcycles in Tucson, but the prices are way higher than average market prices. I’ve seen anywhere between 2k-​3k higher.

I have been here many times. They always have a large selection of new and used motorcycles and other outdoor equipment. They have a large selection of motorcycle gear as well. They are always moving their motorcycle selection around, but the plus side is they keep like bike together.

I feel this dealership tries to rip you off! I have bought numerous motorcycles in my riding career and know what to expect when buying a vehicle. I came in looking at a motorcyle they were advertising for 11,500 but somehow assumed 3000.00 in taxes and associated fees for an out the door price (otd) of 14,500.00. After asking for a break down of fees they had 1,000.00 bundled up in shipping and dealer prep. After stating my displeasure with such a mark up I was asked, «well how much would you like to spend» instantly they knocked a grand out of the price. Now while this was a new bike; it was a 2011 for sale in August of 2012. I went home to do a little homework and their associated Peoria store was advertising a 2012 Honda CBR1000RR for 10,995.00 so I called them and again their quoted price was over 3,000 less than their out the door price. When asked about their fees I was told they had 1500.00 in shipping and dealer prep. After speaking with Western Honda in Scottsdale about Honda CBR1000rr they were advertising at 10 795.00 I was given an estimate of 12,500 otd. I finally purchased a 2012 CBR1000RR from Musselman Honda in Tucson for 12,600.00 literally 1500 dollars less for the exact same motorcycle than what Ridenow quoted. When I called Ridenow in Tucson and brought this up to them the salesman told me «Whatever price they’re offering we’ll match it!» When I was at the dealership I was told these fees were mandatory but somehow they were now willing to match the quoted price from the other dealers. To me this was confirmation their quoted price was b.s. and I will never even attempt to purchase another motorcycle from them.

Overall RideNow did a good job. I am still waiting for my motorcycle though. After many phone calls we were able to land a motorcycle. However, it took the finance company forever to figure out payments. The motorcycle we ended up with needed a new paint job and a tune up so we are waiting another three days just to get the bike. The sales staff were more friendly than before and there were more of them on the sales floor. I was given my motorcycle bell (by my husband) and I am chomping at the bit to get on the road. RideNow is ok but I am a first time user/​buyer of a motorcycle so I have nothing else to compare them with.

Meeting one’s ATV needs in the Tucson area seemed like a breeze at Ride Now. The sales staff were grilling free hot dogs in the parking lot when we arrived to gear up. Their selection of quads, dirt bikes, and all things motorized in between is extensive, although prices are high. Despite the plethora of ATVs, their gear selection was limited. No large women’s helmets were available, period. They do carry helmet cams and every motor oil known to man, and our excellent saleslady knew her the benefits and drawbacks of each. All levels of riders are catered to, and the sales floor is organized and clean. I haven’t dealt with the repair shop, but if the front of the house is any indication I would have repairs done here.
