ReStore and Community Closet

ReStore sells outlet and gently used home improvement repair items such as appliances, cabinets, furniture, paint, hardware, office furniture, lighting, plumbing supplies, doors, windows, flooring, electronics, décor and AC units. The Community Closet is also located within ReStore which sells men’s, women’s, and children’s gently used and recycled apparel.

History

Established in 1999.

ReStore was established to sell donated and recycled building and home repair items to the community. All proceeds of ReStore would directly benefit the social programs of the non-​profit TMM Family Services, Inc. The Community Closet not only sells used and recycled clothing to the general public, but it also enabels individuals who cannot afford to purchase a chance to acquire clothing through its established voucher program with other non-​profit organizations.

Since 1999, ReStore has been an active and valuable source of revenue for TMM Family Services which in turn has been able to provide necessary programs to help the less-​fortunate within the Tucson community.
