History

Established in 1997.

Joseph S. Pongratz, CPO, FAAOP, President — Director of Clinical Services, founded Pongratz Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. in April 1997. Following several years of laying groundwork for clinical practice in Tucson AZ, Chicago IL, and Pittsburg PA, Pongratz decided to return home to Arizona and open a private practice designed to address specialties in the orthotic and prosthetic field. With offices in Phoenix, Chandler and Tucson, POP has plans to expand offices to service several other areas of the state.

Business Owner

Joseph Pongratz founded Pongratz Orthotics & Prosthetics in 1997 specializing in products and services that help improve functional outcomes for patients faced with unique challenges, and on assisting these patients in achieving life without limitations. Graduating in Chicago from Northwestern University in ¹⁹⁹²⁄₉₃ with his certificate in Orthotics & Prosthetics he decided to return home to Arizona. With three locations to serve you, POP has been providing complete prosthetic care in the Phoenix and Tucson area since 1997. Our newest office in Chandler boasts a state-​of-​the-​art facility with complete Orthotic and Prosthetic care. Our clinicians are certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC), the highest degree of certification in the industry, and have completed educational courses in the most advanced upper and lower extremity prosthetic systems available.
