I just saw I have a headlight out and went to go buy it here. I usually do all my auto business with Pep Boys.
Yes, they close at 7, and I was walking to the door at 7:02 and the kid walked out, looked at me and looked back down and lock the door. He could’ve open the door asked if it was something fast maybe he could help? He just ignored me.
To lock the door right in front of me just infuriates me. I guess I’ll try AutoZone and start giving them my business.

I went in to remove a nail in my tire and was told it would take 15 – 20 minutes. Although there was no one in front of me, I ended up waiting almost an hour to get my car back. Without me complaining, the clerk offered a 10% discount but the supervisor gave me the service for free.
They have free WiFi in the waiting lobby with a tv and access to the remote, so that was useful for the wait.

Called this morning to make an appointment for an oil change. They told me they were pretty much open all afternoon so I made an appointment for 4:30. I arrived a couple of minutes early, waited 15 minutes to get checked in. My car wasn’t pulled in to be worked on until 5:05. They weren’t done until 6:40. 2+ hours for an oil change that I had an appointment for. I realized halfway home that they forgot to give me my service plan paperwork back so I had to turn around and go get it. The waiting area was dirty and hot. Needless to say, Pep Boys has lost my business. I’m not quite sure why something that takes Jiffy Lube 20 minutes as a walk in took them over 2 hours.
