Patio Pools & Spas

So we were referred by a finance team to Patio Pools. We thought — wow a company that builds everything in house — what a great way to go. We asked to have a designer (Sean) come out and put a design together for us. He did — that was the one and only time he followed through with what he said he would do. After countless emails, and the occasional response of him «stalling» us, we finally gave up. I called to complain to the owner and was told everyone is out sick — when I told the receptionist who my designer was and that I was sick of being blown off — she said — hey that’s my husband! LOL. Anyway, I can tell you there are about 4 other companies here in Tucson who DO have customer service and do understand that when someone wants to build a pool, you have to at least respond to them. Patio Pools service is deplorable and they lost my business. We even decided to pay cash for our pool. Too bad for them. Reach out to Pioneer or Cimmaron both of them were extremely responsive — and they came in on time and on budget for exactly what we wanted and both companies «Wanted» our business. Patio Pools just doesn’t care.

I had problems I think were resolved. Friend has used them for years and says they are good.

Patio Pools recently completed my in ground pool and it has been a first class experience from my initial meeting with a designer until now, two weeks after completion. If you are shopping for a pool builder I highly recommend Patio Pools for a few reasons. My designer was extremely knowledgeable about the building process and was equally knowledgeable about the equipment and products they sell and install. He was also worked hard to design the best pool within my budget. Two other builders I consulted with answered, «Let me get back to you on that» or «I’m not sure, I’d have to research that» way too many times for my comfort level, especially when considering the cost of a pool. My designer also showed me their large yard that stored all of their excavation and construction equipment and assured me all personnel were Patio Pools employees. My designer was also able to maximize the use of my yard when the other builders just wanted to design and build a tiny pool because it was easier. The other builders explained that they subcontracted most of the work and they also did not want to provide me with a list of the subcontractors they used. The Patio Pool guys were very friendly, professional, and took care not to damage any of my belongings. I even took the time to speak with several of them and learned that many of them had worked for Patio Pools for several years and worked their way up from basic to more advanced jobs. My project manager was always readily available, listened to my questions/​concerns, and provided a solution very quickly. Two weeks later and the people at Patio Pools are still concerned about keeping me a happy customer and have come back to do Quality Checks and touch up anything they think can be better. The office staff has been equally friendly, courteous, and concerned about customer service. The Patio Pool guys are so skilled and proficient that there were no hiccups during construction and all inspections passed with flying colors. Do some public record searching and you will see many discrepancies on other residential pool inspections. And of course, the quality of my pool is extremely high! Even the pool start up instructional provided to me was informative, fun, and provided by two knowledgeable and friendly employees. I highly recommend Patio Pools to anyone who is looking for a quality swimming pool and quality experience.

The best all the way around! Customer Service is off the charts, everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. We built a pool this year and we were amazed at what a hassle free experience it was! They don’t try to over sell you and listen to what you want. From the sales staff to the designers to the construction everyone has gone beyond our expectations. Not to mention the piece of mind you have not worrying if the pool builder will be around when you need them! They have been around for 45 years for a reason!!! They are honest, helpful and know what exceptional customer service is. Don’t use any other pool company!

Mark is always sooo helpful! We now bought a surface cleaner for the pool and it is fantasticl! Goes round and round picking up leaves and anything else that lands on the surface of the water!!! Awesome. We also had bought from him the pool vac and we are trouble free!!! Ready to enjoy our pool at anytime!!! No matter what it is that we need this young man is always happy to help and he has a lot patience !! Thank you ‘Mark!!! Our pool was made by this company quite a while ago. Bought the house a year ago and no problems the pool still looks amazing. I think that is the best recommendation anyone can give. Workmanship is exceptional!!!
