History

Established in 1952.

In its third generation, Olander’s Window Replacement is the number one choice for energy efficient Tucson windows. In the late 1940s, Mel Olander, Sr. and his wife started a small glass service working out of their garage in Chicago. In 1952, Mel Sr. moved the family to Tucson and started Olander’s Speedway Glass.

Mel Sr’s grandson, Patrick, took over the window division and started Olander’s Window Replacement with a focus on energy efficient replacement windows for existing homes in the greater Tucson area. Determined to carry on the family tradition, Olander’s provides the personal touch and service that is lost in today’s big box and manufacturer direct businesses.
