It’s my go-to brewery now. The food is good, normal bar food. The drinks are great, my favorite is their pale ale. The staff is friendly and helpful. The patio is well shaded with plenty of seating. They may need to improve their pool sticks though.

I really really really want to love this place. It’s always dead though which makes the kitchen close super early which really sucks :/if the kitchen stayed open super late it would be perfect

Loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere here. I went on a Saturday and had a great time. There is outdoor seating, food and really good craft beer. What I like even more is that it is located in a business park so there is ample parking. The bartenders are great and the patrons were more than friendly giving me suggestions of other places to visit while I was in Tucson. There are flights available or you can just order your favorite. Love the Nimbus monkey!!!

The locale of this place is off the beaten path but I do feel like it’s worth the trip to visit. Beer was good and cold. I got the blonde and my partner got the IPA and we both enjoyed them. My blonde was a tad sweet or citrusy for my taste but I didn’t hate it. I liked the ambience of the place, although it was dark. I am glad they have an outdoor patio space. It was nice to sit out there and I didn’t even mind the trains going by. The waitstaff was very nice and explained the beers to us, since it was our first time. I would like to try a couple of the others they offer. I think monkeyshine is popular. We did not try the food but the burgers smelled and looked legit so i would like to go back and try the other beers and some of their food offerings. All in all I’m glad we made the trip and we enjoyed ourselves. The End.

We stopped at Nimbus last night to grab a bite to eat and sample some local brew. When we entered, we received a friendly greeting from Leia. She was very informative on the different kinds of beer on tap. We could not decide so we ordered a flight.(7 samples). All were tasty. Leia suggested the burger. What a great choice. Ordered the FRESH Hamburger. One of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered 2 more pints(@ $ 3.55 each) and called it a night. Great food, yummy brew, and extraordinarily service is why Nimbus is receiving 5STARS!

My office is near Nimbus, although the brewery is in an industrial location, each time I have visitors from out of the area, I take them to Nimbus for lunch or dinner. Not only do they have a menu with items you can’t normally find(i.e. Fried Bologna Sandwiches), the atmosphere is a great representation of Tucson’s casual lifestyle. Great food! Great Beer!

Went here for my sisters birthday on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone’s food took about 45 minutes(which surprised us since the place wasn’t busy at all) to come out except for mine, my girlfriends, and my mom’s. We waited another 40 minutes or so(total of around an hour and 20 minutes) but everyone else had finished their meals and seemed kinda ready to go. We cancelled our order, got a refund and made our way to the door. As we walked by the kitchen we could see the cook standing there talking on his cellphone. Worst part was that not one staff member offered an apology and the only one we did get was a from a self proclaimed regular at the bar that over heard the whole ordeal. Will not be back.

Cool tasting room! Love how it is decorated and the nod to the Air Force, but the beer is so so. If you like the dark beer and looking for malt taste in your Stout… forget about it… the Oatmeal Stout is hoppy heavy. Not good for us traditional stout drinkers. They also had a bourbon stout on cast. Instead of any taste of bourbon, it taste just the flat version of the Oatmeal Stout, can’t taste bourbon what so ever. If you are looking for a dark beer, skip this place and head down to Ten 55 for their XO coffee stout. It is malt forward, what a stout should be! There is food available but don’t know how it is.

The beer is Meh, but killer marketing & packaging. Clever names like dirty guero for blonde ale(they should call it sucia). Great facility, nice dive feeling, but first class establishment to kick back

If you like good beer, go elsewhere. The beers available are all pretty bad. The food is fine and the interior is interesting, but that’s all they’ve got going for them.

We came here spontaneously with two other families and a a bunch of kids. Driving through the industrial district made me skeptical of this place. We arrived and the layout is good with the bar to the left, the kitchen to the right, and seating in the middle. I was pleasantly surprised as the staff was very friendly. The last burger took a bit to come out but the staff was very apologetic. The food was good and I would return and recommend to others.

Not a huge fan… It is in a warehouse district and the beer was ok. I would go back if friends were going but would not suggest it as I feel there are better places that are closer to everything else.

My boyfriend and I spontaneously decided to go out this past Friday night. Got to Nimbus around 8 pm. Ok, so the location can be described in two ways: awkward and literally right next to train tracks that happen to have trains go by quite constantly. So, that was interesting. Difficult to find since it is located in a completely industrialized area. Anyways, we walk in. The interior is actually really neat and there were perhaps 4 other people dining at the tables. Strange for a Friday night but I guess not really since the location is not good. We sit at the bar and got some beers. I got the blonde ale, which I enjoyed very much. Boyfriend enjoyed his beer, as well. I ordered the wings based off of the recommendation from the bartender. They sucked. :(Which really I wasn’t expecting because of the reviews on here about them, and the fact that the bartender recommended them… Anyways, they were nice and saucy(which I love) but for some reason they tasted fishy? I wasn’t sure why and I thought I was crazy for it. But I took leftovers home and the fishiness was still present. Pretty weird, right? How I could taste that with all of the buffalo sauce on it is beyond me. At the very least, however, I never got sick. Boyfriend didn’t say much about his Lebowski, so my assumption is that it was mediocre. I also wouldn’t recommend the curly fries. Will return for the beer, but would definitely eat beforehand.

Nimbus used to be cool, like when Nimbus actually ran the place, as opposed to the corporate coke/shit head(s) that took over. I worked there for a while until I was attacked by a coworker. Did he lose his job? Of course not, however after the incident(even though the attack was well documented, on video and witnessed) I was the one harassed into quitting due to their bro’s before hoe’s policy. The beer also sucks, unless you like sugary chemical swill that will induce scull splitting hangovers if you dare, or can stand more than two pints. So, if you dig sexual harassment, hangovers and antique frozen pizza Nimbus is where it’s at. Cheers Everybody

I just dont know about this place… Positive: the atmosphere is great, the six pack deal is awesome and of course I love the beer Needs improvement: More signs to where this is would be good because we couldnt find it, more staff would be nice and the food was not good. I would go back just for the 6-pack deal.

The place is very dive oriented off the railroad tracks in a industrial area and it is hard to find if you don’t know where to look. You will be surprised by the beer offerings and the food is very good. I do note that sometimes the food presentation is hit or miss, but always good. Try out the beers and like most craft locations you will find one or two you like. NOT a pretty location, it is a warehouse and if you don’t like a dive bar kind of setting, then you may not like this place. The seating is hard and the place appears unclean at times. But for friends who like beer and grill food it is fine.

Worst Place ever !!! The place was fairly empty when we walked in. 5 tables to be exact. Nobody acknowledged us for about 10 minutes. No bartender. One waitress and one cook on a Friday Night. Finally the waitress walked by our table after walking by the bar stating we could get menus at the bar if we wanted. So I went and grabbed 2 Menus and she still never came over to the table, as she walked by texting we walked out. We will NEVER go back again !!! Unacceptable !!!

Nimbus Brewing has to be one of the best craft breweries in Tucson, if not the best. Their Old Monkeyshine is perhaps the most amazing English style ales I’ve ever had, with a complex malt flavor, and high gravity, that punches you in the face. Their porter on nitro was good too. The food at Nimbus was good at best, but really delivers on volume. They have huge burgers, and a massive burrito«Burro Gigante», among others. But it’s all about the beer, and when in Tucson, I don’t think you can beat Nimbus. Steve J Road Pickle Motorcycle Touring Magazine

We went for happy hour and a Wildcats basketball game. However, they didn’t have the Pac12 network and I was charged full price for the Mama Nana’s nitro stout. The beer was good but I would have ordered something else if I’d known there was happy hour pricing on another style of beer(my friend was apparently charged ~$ 3 for a different beer while I was charged almost $ 7). The nachos were mediocre.

I’ve been to Nimbus several times and I think 2 stars is about right. I didn’t really like their beer, the food wasn’t good, the prices were kind of high and their pool table is a tragedy. The pool cues were all literally broken into at least 2 pieces and the table is warped. On the bright side they don’t charge to play pool. Also the atmosphere is pretty cool.

Haven eaten there several times with friends but lately their prices have gone up and portions smaller. Ordered a chimi combo and a side Oder of chips while the price of the chimis was fine, I was charged $ 4.25 for less than 20 stale chips and a tiny cup of salsa. Lesson learned, you can only rip me off once.

I’ve never been a fan of the Nimbus beers aside from a Monkeyshine every now and then but their food is actually really good. I wish they’d just stuck to this model when they opened the Bistro but at least theyre still making it. We went in for some wings and burgers a couple of weeks ago and food was great! The bartender seemed somewhat new and a little overwhelmed during lunch hour but our food was never delayed so we were happy. She kept serving us overflowing beers though(like literally overflowing as she sat them down in front of us and created a mess) so that was annoying but almost comical that she wasn’t bothered or noticed it at all. Whatever we’ll be back again.

Best wings besides my own lol! They give you very fresh carrots and celery and their blue cheese is the best. Most place won’t even give you veggies with their wings and you pay more. We come here all the time, food is always consistent and Abby(bartender slash everything els) is awesome. Best price for wings too 8 dollars for 10 wings … I guess you can get twelve for that price but the quality makes up for it. They also got their brewing system updated so now their beer is colder. That was one of my gripes was the beer was barely cold but now it is cold.

If you like lighter beers try their blonde ale it’s a pretty easy drinking experience. The bartenders are very informative and pleasant to be around. And the music is just loud enough to be able to talk and enjoy.

After a long bike ride from the U of A, it was really nice to just have a cold drink and a yummy meal at nimbus. The bartender was very friendly to us as we sat down and order our drinks and late lunch meals. I order the dirty Guera and some chicken wings, while my boyfriend order the Nimbus hamburger with a side of onion rings and a red ale. I really enjoy both my drink and food also the few bites from my boyfriend’s hamburger were also really tasty(the bacon was my favorite part.) Overall, it was worth the long bike ride!

Three tacos overflowing with fresh ingredients, prepare to use your fork to scoop up the remaining fillings that spill out when you try to eat. Nothing out of the ordinary here, but with a large space, Nimbus is perfect for happy hour drinks, easy-going dinner or a change-of-pace lunch. Plentiful parking at an open-air venue that fits with the industrial neighbors. Relaxed setting, good brews and knowledgeable staff.
