This place is the best! We were referred by friends soon after we moved to Tucson and it was my first experience with a mechanic telling me that my car did not need an expensive repair. I find their prices very reasonable and they are so gracious in helping me prioritize what repairs are needed and when so I can budget properly. I have referred all of my friends here and they are as satisfied as I am. All the people who work there are wonderful, warm and efficient. No longer is taking the car in something to be dreaded. There is a real family feel to the shop. I give Nihoto my highest recommendation.

The first thing you should know, is that I am in the car business! I buy, sell, locate, fix and otherwise try to HELP people make good decisions for themselves, when it comes to dealing with the automotive world. I know great places to bring a car for repair and I know places to avoid. Nihoto is one to AVOID!!! Their prices are absolutely ridiculously high! They charge MORE than the new car dealerships! NO ONE should charge more than the new car dealerships! The main reason for doing business with an independent repair shop, is to save money, NOT spend more! Nihoto is very elusive when it comes to giving out information about your car’s problems, telling you repeatedly to, «Bring it in. We’ll look at it and give you a FREE estimate.» BIG WHOOP… a FREE estimate! There aren’t many shops on the planet that won’t give you a free estimate! Avoid this place! It is a very expensive pigpen! This is a case when you really would do better, bringing your car into the new car dealership for work… and I don’t make that statement lightly!

This is a tough one. The work that is done at Nihoto is always good. If you’re looking for a solid mechanic, try this place.
However, there are two negatives:
1. The prices are higher (sometimes considerably higher) than other mechanics.
2. The place is filthy. Like disgustingly, terribly filthy. They do not appear to ever clean the office. There is literally trash piled up on the office floor. Even though I trust them with my car, I always think twice about taking my car here because I sometimes actually feel sick to my stomach while waiting in the office.
