I never miss a class. It’s a great privilege to «study with a master». These classes have changed my life. I went to my first class about a year ago and haven’t looked back. What a difference in my whole outlook! I feel strength in my core that changes the way i feel about myself and my capabilities — to say nothing of the way I look and carry myself. My chronic back pain is GONE!!! Because I do this regularly, I don’t get tension building up in my muscles because I stretch out so my guess is that I am avoiding many potential problems by doing this. And when class is over, boy do I feel great.

I have enjoyed Plus size pilates since 2006, Mary Gordon is a great instructor and has a wonderful work ethic. She has been an excellent role model to all of us. Thanks Mary and PlusSizePilates, they are both terrific!

Pilates for every body.
Mary Gordon has been my Pilates instructor for more than three years. When I started I was not at all physically fit and had never done Pilates. I was overweight and would have been too embarrassed to go to one of the Pilates studios in town where all the other students are fit and slim. Mary has modified the classic Pilates moves to accommodate the plus-​sized body. She is encouraging, gentle and rigorous in her instruction. My body has been transformed as a result of her instruction.
