«A-OK» is the perfect description for this place. As a vegetarian, they definitely had some options for me(appetizers and such), which was definitely a surprise given that it is a barbecue place. The deep-fried corn is solid(as all the other reviews indicate), though, since I’m a weakling, the Cajun sauce was far too spicy for me. I wouldn’t choose this place for myself, but if my husband or any friends have a craving for barbecue, this is the place that I’ll recommend(solely for my own needs).

Worth the drive. The food is spectacular! I’ve had a lot of bbq and this place does NOT disappoint. The owner is great. The sauces are spectacular and everything was cooked to perfection.

I have been here and it was good. I had family coming from Phx for holiday and they wanted bbq, so I thought we’d go here, buy local and all that. I called on Saturday about 6:30 and asked if they were open on Monday. I was told«yes we are» and given hours. I responded it was MLK day and again asked if they’d be open since it was a holiday. The response I got was«yes. We are only closed on Sundays». So I show up today with intention to eat there only to discover a sign that said«closed for mlk, sorry». Really happy I called ahead and asked. Waste of my time. Also website not even updated to show they were closed today. Guess I will be taking my business elsewhere today and beyond.

We enjoyed our meal. The corn on the cob was fun. Barbecue was very good. The blues/jazz band was fabulous. We’d go back. The interior could use a little work, possibly some new lighting. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or

My husband and I was just there and it was delicious! He had the baked chicken and make & cheese the chicken was seasoned great and the mac & cheese was the best I’ve had since I’ve been in Tucson! I had the salmon and onion rings(I know it don’t go together), but it was fantastic. I wanted to ask what seasonings were used for the salmon. The customer service was a 10+ and we didn’t wait a long time for our food the best part is I used a LivingSocial voucher that I purchased for $ 8 so we just ate all what I mentioned for $ 8 bucks!

Just checked this place out. It’s a bit hard to find, it’s on the south side of the multi-story office building at 4400 E. Broadway. Wife had the Hell’s Kitchen egg salad wrap and said it was great, especially with the Cajun sauce. I had the Burgeritta, which is a cheeseburger with fries in a chimichanga. It was amazing, and they use Hatch green chilies, which make everything better. Nice friendly service, and nice atmosphere. Try this place if you want great, flavorful food.

Food is great, and the gentleman who owns the place is awesome. The first time we were here, it was really a pleasure. Second time, for karaōke, not as much. The waitress refilled my husband’s drink when completely ignoring my empty one, and I’m sitting RIGHTNEXTTOHIM. My husband has attempted to get her attention a couple of times but she’s totally ignoring him. Drinking melted ice water that tastes like lemon is not really fun.

Food SUCKS. Too sweet or too hot and too spicy. Way Overpriced for what you get. Service is definitely lacking. One of Tucson’s WORST places to go for food and service. PASS this place up. It won’t be in business long. I was a Manager of A large restaurant and Lounge. They definitely DON’T know how to run a restaurant Lounge establishment. The owners should go back to their original occupation of working at A day care center. DON’T WASTEYOURTIMEORMONEY here and go somewhere else.

This place is a little hard to find, since the map online is wrong. It’s in the Bank of Tucson building, just east of Columbus on the south side of Broadway. Once you find it, you will have a great meal at a casual and down to earth kind of place, so leave any snooty pretentiousness at home. Best brisket I’ve ever had, moist, tender and perfectly marbled with a little fat. Great pulled pork. Awesome deep fried corn. Run of the mill French Fries so next time I’ll try potato salad. The owners are lively and friendly people. They might be closed on the weekends while they complete their bar and lounge with live music, so call ahead to make sure they are open if it’s the weekend. I hope they become a successful restaurant and bar!

Rare Jem, Not To Be Missed Beautiful and clean restaurant. Excellent food. I loved the hatch chili sauce, the best I ever tasted. The sandwich is thick and meaty. The barbecued ribs are nice and Hardy. I also love the barbecue sauce.

Les Paul is close to my house so when I saw that there was a groupon, I thought why not and I am glad we did. Extensive menu which includes barbecue and sandwiches and burgers. Very tasty. The owner said in 4 weeks the lounge part of the restaurant will be open with live music. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a LivingSocial so came here with the fam for lunch. Spoke with the owner — he’s the one with the Burgerrito food truck, and this is his new brick and mortar venture. Only open a couple of months, and the bar/lounge area is still being completed. Overall it’s a good value for what you get. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, grilled cheese & bacon sandwich, the Mann Melt special, and I’m actually not sure what my husband got(but he seemed to like it). It was a good amt of food. Each sandwich came with a pickle spear(so-so) and a side of choice. My girls chose the Mac n cheese sides, which came in small ice cream dishes, and they seemed to really like it. Creamy, hot, and cheesy. The other two sandwiches we opted for onion rings on both — they weren’t the best or worst I’ve had. I can’t speak for everyone else, but my sandwich wasn’t exactly piping hot, but not sure if it was because of the avocados, cheese and raw onion chunks bringing down the temp of the burger patty. Most of the sandwiches used the same kind of thickly sliced bread. Can’t say it was my fave bread but they weren’t bad, either. Staff was very friendly, and the girl who brought our orders to the table was very attentive. Being new, the interior was very clean and bright. By the time we left the lunch crowd was coming in. I’d come back, but prob would not go out of my way to. There are a lot of options on the menu, so I’ll prob do something other than sandwiches next time.

We got a Living Social for this otherwise would have never heard of the place. 5 stars for great value and delicious food. It’s the same owner as Hog Pit and there in no drop off in quality. My wife loved the pulled pork, which was moist and flavorful. I had the half rack, which was moist, delicious and well seasoned. Our 2 year old had the fried corn on the cob. I wish I could have tried it but she inhaled every speck. She also had the Salmon. It was perfectly prepared, moist and flaky, in a lemon pepper rub that mom and dad nibbled on too. After we were done our toddler said unprompted ‘that was yummy’. She’s spot on and you can’t fool a toddler if the food really wasn’t good. Though not ostensibly kiddo friendly(i.e. no high chairs), the chef/server and owner fawned over her, which any parent likes to hear. This place is off the beaten path, but just park in the Bank of Tucson tower west parking lot off Broadway and it’s right there in the lobby. We will be back for sure, as there is a delicious looking assortment of burgers and other things. The sides such as fries, O rings, mac and cheese were not epic but good enough. For comparison, we recently went to Famous Daves and Brushfire, and Les Paul is better. That’s a compliment well earned. You should check this place out. It would also make a great take out option as well.

Good/Great comfort food. My wife and I took advantage of the groupon deal and ordered the pulled pork nachos, mild wings, and brisket w/a side of rings. W/o the groupon I’d give the quality+quantity of food 3.5 stars(Meaning it’s somewhere I’d go but not necessarily go out of my way to get and/or convince others to go … With the groupon I would though). Here’s the breakdown: staff was friendly enough, I enjoyed the nachos, the pulled pork on it was solid and I personally like/occasionally crave the movie-style nacho cheese they use(my wife wasn’t impressed). My wife was impressed with the wings though … good portion, flavorful, cooked right. I didn’t care much for the brisket or the bbq sauce … it’s good sized for what you pay for but it was a little too dry for me(I may tend to be snobbish when it comes to brisket) The onion rings were good … It’s what you’d expect from onion rings. Overall I’d go back even w/o a groupon and would like to explore their menu some more.

I dig this place. The location is weird, it clearly used to be a food truck, but none of that is going to stop these people from putting out some delicious food for the working class. The menu is pretty extensive, with everything from sandwiches to wraps to BBQ. Everything’s got a bit of southern mixed with southwest flare, and all of it for a decent price served quickly to those on the go. I had a crab cake sandwich(also offered as a wrap or a salad), which comes on Texas Toast, lettuce, tomato, and cajun sauce. Can I just say thank God someone finally put a crab cake on their menu in this town for a decent price? Sure it may have had a bit more filler than I would have preferred, but it was still tasty as hell and cooked perfectly. That Cajun sauce will sneak up on you! Watch out! When you first taste it it almost has a kind of honey mustard kind of sweetness to it, and then a whole band of creoles come flying around the corner to kick you right in the taste buds! My wife ordered a turkey sandwich which also comes with Cajun sauce. They brought it to her mistakenly as a wrap. There did seem to be some sort of ambiguity problem with their Point of Sale system because before they brought our food out they had to ask me again what I had ordered. We also ordered a deep fried corn on the cob which also had Cajun sauce(I guess its kinda a signature for them, though not everything on the menu has it I assure you!) It was really good, although a little difficult to eat civilly. Overal I really enjoyed this place and would love to come back soon! In my eyes, even with the odd location, they are a welcome addition to the Tucson food community.

We ate there as Living Social has a deal with them right now. I got a burger and fries and my husband got a grilled chicken sandwich. The fries were good. The burger was juicy but I ordered it well done and there was pink on the inside. I order burgers well done as I don’t like pink. It was still good though and I ate it :) The fries were super good– old style fries. The grilled chicken was good too. I took off one star as we got unsweetened tea and they gave us sweet tea– can’t have sugar so that wasn’t good. Also there was pink on the inside of the burger. I would go back. Nice quiet lunch spot.

Went last night for dinner, despite the odd hours. I had a deep fried corn on the cob and the pulled pork meal(with beans as my side). my husband had the brisket meal with onion rings as the side. We both really enjoyed the meal, and found the workers(including Paul Kukich) to be friendly and welcoming. He explained his plans for expansion of the lounge area, and talked a little about his BBQ sauce(which is excellent, btw). He also said they’re offering Living Socials and Groupons to get people to try it out, which seemed to be working(we had one, and so did another couple of diners). We’ll definitely be back. Very reasonable prices, and the pork was delicious!

This place is hard to find, as it is in the lobby of a big business building where Martha McSally has her office. If that hasn’t made you lose your appetite, this is a good place to come for comfort food. I had the burgerrito and it is a cheeseburger in a burrito. It is a lot of food! My husband got the pork sandwich and he liked it okay, said to give this place 3 stars for him. I would like a krispy kreme, but too full!

Gotta give this place a 5 star place setting. I had the pork ribs and they were meaty, tender and the sauce was great. I can’t wait to go back and check out the many other items on their menu. Customer service was warm and friendly — they aim to please… My kind of place!
