Update. Lazydays RV is now working on repairing our relationship. Thankfully they hired a new Service Manager John Sportsman. He seams really concerned plus they are now reimbursing me for my hotel room. I’m starting to feel a lot better about everything.
I purchased a brand new camper from Lazydays RV and I live out of state. They advertised the toy hauler as new but it was not in new condition. It had tons of problems like leaking windows, a defective A/​C, defective tires, bad weather molding, glass separating from hinges, and the list goes on. Unfortunately the only way to discover these types of problems is with use. Before my long trip home I decided to stay at the KOA and use my free voucher. This was the beginning of a very long nightmare. Lazydays RV promised to fix the problems if I waited in Tucson. I did not want to bring my $ 65k camper home in the condition it was in and the dealer in my state had a 2 month wait if I brought it to them. So I dropped it off at Lazydays. 10 days later and a few thousand dollars down the toilet I picked it up. That night I stayed in it and that is when I noticed they didn’t fix problems. To make things worse it now had a major plumbing leak in a wall causing the bathroom and bedroom to flood. The ac still didn’t work so I was up all night trying to stay cool. It is unbelievable this place is still in business. After my 10 day stay the windows still leaked. All they did was run a bead of silicon around the glass. This is improper because the camper uses frameless automotive glass. It turned out Lazydays did not know how to repair the unit even though they are a licensed dealer for the brand I purchased. I checked the lemon laws in AZ but the state only protects the dealer. The federal lemon laws aren’t much better. They would not let me exchange it or issue me a refund. Luckily the manufacturer stepped in but only because I contacted them directly. The manufacture sent a truck to my house and hauled it back to the factory. They confirmed the ac was bad so they replaced it with a new unit. Wow what a relief. It was 92 deg inside the camper at 10:30 pm with the ac on high. The service manager actually argued with me about this and said it was fine. I thought I was going to die so I ended up staying in a hotel the last several days at my own expense. I had no working ac and the daytime high’s wear reaching 110 deg and they thought it was okay to make me sleep in the camper with no working ac. They said I was to drop it off at their shop everyday and then have me pick it up at the end of the day so I could sleep in it at their KOA and repeat this process everyday until they finished. If they didn’t have the knowledge to repair the camper properly they should have told me right away instead of waisting my time and money. I politely requested they reimburse me for my hotel room but they refused. To make a long story short it is my belief they DO NOT care about the customer. Don’t let them fool you. They ACT like the nicest people until a problem arises. I have sent them several emails but they do not respond. Before posting this bad review I thought I would give it some time to let them respond and let the dust settle. 5 months have past and they have done nothing. Before you buy an RV do your homework on both the dealer and the manufacturer. I think we all know dealers have problems. In my opinion what separates the good dealers from the bad dealers is how they respond to their problems. Always ask if they stand behind the products they sell. Don’t assume just because they have a TV show and a lot of big fancy TV adds they will stand behind the products they sell.

We like the Lazy Days RV dealership. All the folks we interacted with here were awesome. My favorite thing was taking the driving Course with John, just a great way to learn and experience the RV driving experience. Of course they have just about any type of RV you could be interested in here. There is also a KOA campground adjacent to the dealership.

This review is strictly related to the physical aspects of the store and building, and NOT to the campground.
We went shopping for a motorhome and I was quite surprised that there does not seem to be any handicap access into the sales building or onto the outdoor display area where the RVs are parked. There were no ramps or sidewalk cuts to allow for a rolling walker. If they exist, no one pointed us in that direction.
We made several trips to the business while shopping, and numerous staff saw me trying to navigate up and down steps. In fact one set of outdoor steps down to the display area does not even have a railing.
I would suggest that Lazydays seriously consider making a few small modifications on their property to make it a bit more handicap-​friendly.
June 15 2015 — This is a followup to earlier comments I made.
In light of a helpful response from staff at Lazydays, I’d like to say that I was informed about several handicap access points that I was unaware of during my visits.
I want to thank Lazydays for the response and the clarification regarding my perceived lack of handicap access.

This is NOT an RV Super Store as advertised on tv. They have a lot of Airstream specific décor items and they will order parts or whatever but don’t come here for supplies.

Beautiful entrance, but had a very small RV supply store. If you are looking to buy an Air Stream trailer ~ this is your place. We were not impressed with the staff or inventory.

We brought our American Eagle 40 L to Lazy Days to sell it on consignment. The consignment manager said that they were excited to have it and since it was in exceptional shape it should sell in 1 or 2 months. We agreed it would sell for $ 120 — $ 130K. We agreed on a consignment price that met their profit margin to sell at that price and we left it there. Then we see it on their web site for $ 189K. We called and they said they knew what they were doing and give it a try, 60 days later, with no offers, we called and they dropped the price to $ 159k. Still no offers or interest. Since they would not offer it at the $ 120−130k price we both thought would sell it, we waited on the agreed 90 days and went to Tucson to pick it up. There we found the RV filthy with a cracked windshield. They had not noticed it had a cracked windshield and said that they don’t clean the units on consignment. They took no responsibility for the windshield since the heat there often causes cracked wind shields. It cost $ 2500 to get the wind shield replaced. We took it to PPL in Houston and put it on sale for $ 120k and it sold.
The support staff and service at Lazy Days were wonderful and were embarrassed by the way our coach was handled. I would not recommend putting an RV on consignment at Lazy Days rather suggest PPL in Houston and put your own ad on RV Trader.

My wife and I purchased a new fifth wheel trailer from Lazy Days because it was the only dealer in our area that carried the model we wanted. The sales and financing department were good to work with. The unit was delivered a few weeks later than promised, but we were happy to finally have it. Then we were handed over to the very inept service department.
On delivery day, we were told that we’d be there a couple of hours and they’d have a technician there to resolve any quality issues we encountered. We got there at 8am, and waited for hours for a technician to get our work done. He finally showed up at 3pm, and didn’t have the parts to fix several issues. We didn’t get on the road until 5pm. During the delivery, one of their employees actually damaged the trailer with a leaking ink pen. When they tried to clean it up, they damaged it further by bleaching out the panel.
The service manager promised he’d order the parts and have them in within a week or so. We waited nearly a month. We called and emailed the service guy several times, but he wouldn’t call back or respond. Finally, after lots of badgering and complaining, he ordered the parts and a few weeks later let me know they were in.
We dropped off the trailer for 10 days, and even simple things we wanted done were not touched or were repaired so poorly, that they were worse off than when we dropped it off. Even worse, they did not know how to repair the interior panel that they damaged during delivery.
We are heading out of town for a few months so we picked up the FW, and I was able to repair some of the problems myself. I called the manager in charge of service to let him know how pathetic the service was. Hopefully when I come back, they’ll provide better service than I’ve received to date.
I would not recommend this dealer for purchasing or servicing an RV at this time.

Before Christmas, (12/17/13)I gave Lazydays my screen door to be rescreened and two other part to be replaced. I was told they had them in stock. Three days later I called and had to leave a message. No return call. The next day, morning, called again. No return call. That afternoon called again. About three hours later, Elka finally called. Stated the parts had to be ordered and that they won’t get them for a couple weeks. Called Elka again in about 2 ½ weeks. Left another message. No return call. Called the next day, left another message. Elka finally called. Said the screen is done except for one part they forgot to order. I went down and got my screen door (01÷15÷14). The part was on order and would be shipped to them on 01÷22÷14 and when they get it they will mail it to me. On 02÷14÷14 I call James Bird, (part dept), of course left a message. No return call. Called James Bired on 02÷17÷14, left another message. Called Bired again, left another message. On 2÷18÷14 called again. That afternoon Elka call and stated the part in and she would have it mailed to me today. Today, 02÷18÷14, I received the part. Not one time did anyone answer their phone or call back at reasonable time.

This review pertains to the service department only as the campground has been sold to KOA.
We had an appointment for warranty work on our 2014 Thor ACE. The items were minor and mostly adjustments. After 3 trips into service and a period of one month, the only things accomplished are gluing back a weather strip and replacing a broken dash a/​c vent! They NEVER initiate a phone call. They outright lied to us about ordering parts as verified with Thor. They are understaffed and the service advisors are in overwhelm. I recommend checking with Premier Motor Coach in Tucson for any warranty or non-​warranty work you may need. They are honest and truly care about their clients. Thor gladly gave us the okay to have our work performed by them even though they were not a warranty service center.
Stay away from Lazy Days. If not, be sure to say hello to those that have been cooling their jets in service for over 3 months and counting.

They say you live and learn… and first impressions are the most important! I have to admit the first impression is what earned Lazy Days the business, but because of the lack of follow up, support and after the Sale Service, I would never recommend or purchase from Lazy Days RV again!
I bought a 2014 Thor Palazzo, which I we love! The best Coach so far in design and function. but as with any NEW Coach, there were issues at delivery. All of which we pointed out. Being we lived over 800 miles away, I wanted to take the Coach to my local Thor Dealer for repair work and issues. This should have not been an issue. but getting assistance from Lazy Days was impossible. To this day, there has been little to no follow up or assistance. So, for the sale they get 5 Stars. for the follow up.1.
Customer service is so important these days, and I understand the distance is tough, but the assistance with my issues and showing they care would have made the difference. The effort is paramount, and the lack of effort to evident. Passing the blame (stating it was someone else’s job) doesn’t cut it. your my point of contact (My Salesperson) and you are who I would refer… but I can’t refer half your service. just the sales? Service is an important aspect in the Sale!

Really, really nice people at check in — Vicki. Very helpful and friendly.
Worst bartender ever at restaurant. Tried to get her to understand my request for some extra cowboy beans — or an extra dish — this women could not listen or care. Why my husbsnd gave her a 20% tip — will never know why. And please stop complaining that you have to do math because they are switching to a new computer system. Sigh.

We stayed at LazyDays Campground which was a nice place to park for a few days. It is a large, straightforward, clean RV park .
LazyDays has its own Service department, you need to call at least a month ahead to schedule any work. In addition they have a RV sales department, as well as complimentary training courses and seminars to make you more comfortable and knowledgeable in your RV.
The laundry facilities were top notch, new machines with the option of paying with credit/​debit card in addition to quarters. They had a large enclosed dog park, but other than the pool, there was not much for the kids to do.

Very nice campground. There are a few drawbacks. The sites are to close, the train whistle at night is bad, and even though they come around and pick up your trash at your site, it would be nice if they had a few trash disposal sites available. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. Security is ever present.

LAZYDAYS not in a DAZE…
Woohoo— as one of their interior ‘street’ is named! It is the unbelievable square footage of the whole operations and the system of selecting, purchasing, maintaining, vacationing one’s RV that is fully captured in 90 acres. Wow, being a newbie to the RV scene, rights, and culture, I was happily overwhelmed by the professional ways that the Lazydays’ folks tackle their business.
Very impressive. We expected the sport of salesmanship to be fully displayed during the processing of our purchase. We were pleasantly surprised by the tact and concern for our purchase of a small trailer and possible future business. Thank you for your straightforward and friendly environment.

We purchase a travel trailer for Lazydays last July and it arrive in August. We love our travel trail, our salesman and the process. It was a very good experience.
However, the service department, 9 months later (with the purchase still under warranty) does not stand out.
After arriving at our destination on April 6^th for a one night stay we discovered that the the water line to the bathroom had broke. We could not use the water for the entire trailer because it was spraying all over the bathroom.
On our way back home we took the trailer back to Lazydays. It was a Sunday and we knew the service department was closed but talked to our salesman and he said it was okay to leave it and to call the service center on Monday. We figured that it would probably be sometime during the week before they could get to it.
When we called on Monday they told us they wouldn’t even be able to look at the trailer until May 7^th.
Our trailer is under warranty and we are not able to use it for a month because they do not have enough people in the service center to work on it? Is it because we didn’t purchase an expensive RV and we are not a priority? It would probably take them less than 30 minutes to repair it. Very disappointing. It is under warranty and we shouldn’t be having this problem to begin with.
It is very disappointing that the service department can’t back up the quality of service that Lazydays advertises.
AT this point, I would say the sales people are great but the service department needs work.

My parents drive a full color massive RV. I took them to EVERY park in Tucson, and Lazydays is the ONLY one worth a dime. The other parks have old rv’s and a rather randy assortment of folk. The heated pool is great. The hot tub jets are strong and the water is hot. The lots are nice pull throughs and every lot has a lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit tree. All the coaches are nice… Prevost nice. Wifi and cable are included. The Floizona grill has a full bar and a breakfast buffet for 5.95. They also host food truck round ups. The offer driving classes for reluctant spouses. Movie nights, RV jamboree trips, putting green, dog park, boccee ball are all included. There are 400 RV lots. You can stay a week or a year. They will even drive your RV into covered storage with electrical plug ins. They did a great job servicing our RV on site. Bonus, they gave it a great scrub down too.
Right next door to Camping World, if you need to pick up supplies.

LazyDays in Tucson is more than just an RV park. They are a great RV Service and Repair Center, too. After being in a collision with my RV, I contacted a top-​rated collision shop for automobiles in Tucson. They recommended LazyDays to do my RV repairs. I called LazyDays and was put in contact with Dale Frei, the manager. Dale was very helpful and kept me informed every step of the way via phone and email. Whenever I had a question, Dale was quick to get back to me with an answer. I was pleased with the service I received from Dale and the LazyDays team, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing RV service or repairs.

Originally, came here to get our dryer fixed but while waiting for parts, we got damage to our compartment doors due to strong unexpected wind and an electrical problem. Can’t say enough about the care and attention we got from the service dept. Really knowledgable and conscientious employees.
After 2 weeks, all of fixed and we were planning to leave the next day when our washer stopped working.
We went back to service and our service man Bart came right over. He studied the problem and between my husband and him, they figrued out that a piece of paper got sucked into the drainage hose. Quickly fixed it and no charge. If we didn’t live 2000 miles from this place, I would make sure that all our service is done at this location.
The campground is fantastic and very well kept. Price is more than reasonable.

I’ve arrived from California for work in Tucson and brought my RV down. Not having been to Tucson before, I was pouring over the many RV parks around. I settled on Lazydays RV without seeing it before making my reservation. I’ve been traveling for many years, but staying in hotels most of the time. This was a first in my RV. Here’s my scoop:
ARRIVAL: The first thing I noticed was the gated security to get onto the property. Though the surrounding neighborhood is not something to write home about, I did notice the safety levels used to keep the park… and you, comfortable. Yes… even razor wire around the perimeter but out of site.
The check in staff was quite friendly. This is NOT a 55-​and-​over park. Families are welcome, too. But you’ll find mostly $ 200,000-$ 500,000 motorhomes of snowbirds. They treat everyone with a smile and make you feel welcomed.
SITE: I chose a site along County Club Drive and wish I had not. Too much traffic noise. Look for a site on the east side, closer to the clubhouse. The sites are clean, large, and some have shade and even lawns (for a higher price). I am staying for a few months and the cost is about $ 750 high season and $ 550 low season. (may change… so check ahead of time). Electricity included and cable TV. The WiFi is fine (I’m using it now to write this review) and I couldn’t be further from the source.
POOL & FACILITIES: The heated pool is awesome! They have two of them. It also has a nice jacuzzi and plenty of tables, chairs and BBQs. Gated for child safety. Clean and well landscaped.
Laundry room is quite adequate and modern. Machines can actually use credit cards… and you can be emailed if you want to be notified when your skivvies are dry.
Showers have about nine stalls, and two sinks. Pretty big and clean. Lots of hot water (or cold, if you wish) and private.
Ice machine with unlimited ice.
Nice pet park for your 4-​legged companions.
I haven’t used the clubhouse much (go to work, come back, go to sleep…) but it has lots to offer. Pool table, TV, bar, and a nice restaurant. I haven’t eaten there, yet, so I can’t really comment.
PRICE: Heck… I’m used to paying $ 1200 – 1500 per month for a hotel room. The cost of being here is saving me tons and the money I save on a hotel goes into my RV investment.
SUPPORT: There’s a huge Lazydays’ maintenance facility next door. You don’t even have to leave the compound. They do housecalls, too. They are really set up for the big RVs and everything that needs repair or maintaned. Next door is a Campworld.
Easy access off and on Interstate 10. Ramps are within one mile.
SHOPPING: Not much close. Really. Not much. Stay away from the WalMart area to the west off Irvington (5 miles). Not a nice area to be. (Shooting just last night on the news). I suggest you head over to Costco (west on I-​10 a few exits) or find other shopping along the freeway. There is, however, a Fry’s Supermarket on Irvington west of Lazydays. Go during the day.
AIRPORT: If you find yourself leaving on a flight, its 4 miles away. Taxi cost $ 16 with tip.
WEATHER: Hot. Sunny. Hot. Sunny. Partly Cloudy and Hot. Dusty. Hot.

GROWING PAINS…
I have to modify may original review on the restaurant.
Had lunch at the Patio Restaurant during lunch time. The place was packed, every table was full.
There were 2 wait staff for the entire facility. They did the best they could but they were over whelmed by numbers.
After 45 mins the 2 wait staff did get some help with someone to refill drinks.
Lunch took 1.5 hours for soup and salad. The food was still excellent when it arrived.
The most amazing thing is that 4 Lazydays management people were either eating or walked thru the restaurant during this period.
I am sure it will improve with time but sometimes you need more worker bees and fewer queen bees.
