History

Established in 1994.

The «Cork» has been a Tucson tradition since 1966. Jonathan’s Cork was established in 1994 when Chef Jonathan took over, keeping fan favorites on the menu while adding his own signature dishes with a southwest flair. Owners Jonathan and Colette welcome you to a cozy, friendly setting.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Chef Jonathan Landeen, with his handle bar mustache and splashy chef pants, is a Tucson tradition and owner of Jonathans’ Cork for seventeen years. Jonathan trained as an apprentice with Paul Prudhomme, Executive Chef of Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. Moving back to Tucson, his home, he opened Charles Restaurant which won the Travel Holiday Award for Excellence for 3 years. Chef Jonathan was 2007 Copper Chef Winner, and Chef of the Year of Southern Arizona in 2005. Colette Landeen, is co-​owner and works to make dining guests feel welcome and ‘at home’.
