So fast-food is not a 5 star restaurant, but I was disappointed in the service and foods… I’m not sure how a 24 hr drive through can run out of every possible sauce by 10 pm, the time I went… We’re talking mustard, ketchup, ranch, buffalo etc. I mean maybe I’m just way to American but I thought mustard and ketchup were a staple and most places never ran out. They claim they have a dollar menu but only 1⁄3 of the items listed are available. In the future, it might be better if they instituted some type of availability option electronically or something but maybe I’m asking too much of a Jack in the Box. The 2 for $ 1 tacos were fine but the fries were over salted and not warm so that was definitely a disappointment. Not to mention, the drive through took an eternity(10 – 15 min) of waiting with the window closed before I even received my bill/had any human interaction with the drive thru staff. The only redeeming thing about this wait was the friendliness of the drive thru manager who was very courteous and profusely apologized for the incompetency of his staff. I hope they fix these issues in the future and he’s not the only accountable member of the establish such that service improves!

Drive through, on a Sat night. I’m aware this is fast food. I didn’t have high expectations, but I was still incredibly disappointed nonetheless. The attendant working the drive-through had more interest in her plain clothes friends hanging out behind the counter with the employees than me, my order, or the minimum amount of customer service expected from a food exchange between two strangers while both hanging halfway out windows. I was expecting something like asking if I would like anything like sauce for my tacos, ketchup for my fries, or anything, really any words out of the attendant’s mouth would have been nice. But when you open your order of ‘loaded nuggets’, expecting to see the two types of sauces, bacon bits, and smothered cheese, and are met with sad nuggets wearing nothing but a with half-melted slice of jumbo jack cheese, there is a bigger disappointment which resonates inside you. It’s more than just your missing napkins and sauce packets; It echoes in the chest with the heaviness of shame and disappointment, the embarrassment of being played the fool, and the mourning over the loss of the fraction of my $ 7.36, of which I was denied. Do I have hot sauce, ranch, and bacon bits in my trusty ice-box that I could add myself? Probably, but where is the sense of satisfaction and fulfillment that comes with reviewing the contract I signed with J-in-the-B(receipt), and knowing I left the transaction having been given what was agreed upon? It is absent, as is a part of me. A part of me that will always be in that drive-through, waiting for my contract to be fulfilled.
