We have a large inventory of remote control planes, helis, quadcopters, cars and boats. Our staff is eager to help whether you are an experienced hobbiest or just starting out.

History

Established in 1970.

Hobby Barn opened its doors in 1970 by Bill Hempel, Sr. Two years ago one of his son’s, David, purchased Hobby Barn so Bill could retire. The store went through a major face lift and reopened on June 21, 2013.

Hobby Barn is still a «Mom and Pop» store. We focus on our customers and their needs before, during and AFTER the sale. Although our specialty is remote control we do cater to most every hobby enthusiast and, if we don’t have it we will try and get it.

Five Years ago If You Asked Me What I Was Going To Be Doing In Five Years I Would Never Have Imagined I Would Be Managing A Hobby Store. At That Time I Was Working In The Medical Field And Was Going To School Online For My Bachelors Degree In Health Sciences. after Completing My Degree I Decided To Change Gears And Started At Hobby Barn As The Receiving Manager In February Of 2014. By June 1, 2014 I Was Promoted To General Manager.
