HI FI Kitchen & Cocktails

Apparently they are doing SOMETHING right! I was looking for a sports bar to watch the NFL Playoffs and came across HI-​FI. It was SUPER PACKED and they were doing big business in there. It was standing room only and people were sticking around. Me, on the other hand… I had two drinks and left. I wanted to go somewhere I could sit, eat, and have a couple drinks.
You can tell it’s a fun sports bar environment, big TV’s, great crowd, good drinks, bar food… I just need to do a better job getting there early so I can get a seat so I can enjoy the games like everyone else!

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO REPEAT ZERO STARS!!! First we walk in and want to find a chill place to sit away from the cold and away from the staff crowd, there aren’t many people about 7 to 10. We are deciding what to order, it is about 1:20 am on a Monday and we decide we will have a beer. My friend, a man, goes up to order and stands there while bartender and girls talk. ok still waiting then a girl comes to the bar and the bartender immediately attends to her, so my friend walks back to give an update and lets us know he isn’t willing to just charge in front of the girl and will wait until she is done. It is obvious the bartender did not want to serve him. Then bartender walks over very aggressively, no hello or kindness involved that one usually receives when you are a patron, and stands really close to my male friends face and starts talking very loudly about nothing that can be perceived as a customer/​employee conversation. Just rude and aggressive behavior. My friend says, «hello» and the bartender turns around and motions to the bouncer. The bouncer comes over and tells us we must leave. I ask, «What is the reason?» and he states he cannot say. It is clear to me that the bartender is racist. I am a Native, my other friend is Asian and my male friend is African and Native. So racist did not approve of us. No big loss just another day of racism. Too bad for you LOFi. Your sound sucks and you place is blah and nobody cares if you bartender or stupid waitress think you are pretty or cute, because your NOT! The only beauty that truly is the one Creator creates and shines light and blessing upon. Guaranteed this does not apply to you because you would be full of love and kindness to life. Little did you know the kind man you were so rude to is a signed musician and world class artist whose money you shall never have.

Worst business General manager as well as security staff! Spend over 1000 dollars there and was still treated like shit by the General Manager

Although I liked what I ordered, I am giving 1 rating due to their service. They need to be taught the basic serving skills like providing water to start with (I would have at least expected water with food that was served) and providing with the silverware. This girl tonight who took my order for hummus is disappointing with her waitress skills.

I created this account only because I had the worst service and treatment by the staff and Manager CJ. I was insulted in front of many of my colleagues from out of state, by the staff. Upon closing my tab, I wrote $ 0.00 on the tip section because I like to tip with cash at the end of my night out. Instantly, the server says «pssh zero dollars»?? And gave me a very ugly look. I then pulled out my cash and said, «well i was gonna tip in cash, but after this rude customer service i will not be tipping at all, especially after embarrassing me in front of my colleagues and some friends. I then left to another restaurant down the street.
When I went back to Hi-​fi later that evening, I was approached by the security staff and was asked to leave because they said I am banned from the bar because I threatened the job of staff, which I did not do. They might have felt their jobs were threatened because i explained to them what goid customer service is.
I then was kicked out and had all security in my face like if they were going to jump me in the front of the building. A security guy then put his hands on my shoulder’s and i asked him to not touch me. At that point i was already outside the premises and they still kept approaching me. The Manager CJ changed out of his uniform and continued to get in my face, along with his security staff which is very unprofessional and unethical in the line of any business. I am now banned from HiFi, however i would not return anyways with this very poor experience

Went here with a large group for my cousins birthday. We had a booth reserved for table service and when they noticed how large our group was they quickly moved us to a booth that could accommodate our group.
The bottle service was pretty impressive with reasonably priced bottles and the usual mixers to go with. We especially liked the way bottles are brought out with sparklers lit. A bit showy but all in good fun.
The dancers in the bar were scantily clothed, but at least they were pretty to look at. We also liked the décor. The wall next to our booth is decorated in old speakers covering the entire wall. Was very interesting to look at and several people commented on it.
The biggest downfall of the evening for me was that when I went to the bar to order 8 drinks for my party and the bar tender told me there was a 4 drink max. I had a friend with me and said «ok, 4 for me and then 4 for her», because I was just trying to get along and get our cocktails back to our party. The bartender was not amused and said he would only make 4 drinks and I could come back to order again if I wanted more. I explained I was with the large group that had been ordering bottle service all night and that didn’t seem to faze him. Apparently the only way to get good service in the bar is to order bottle service.
I don’t think I will return unless I am going to another birthday party. Just not worth the headache.

It’s so hard for me to give this place a review. I basically live here on Saturdays during football season so that I can watch my east coast football games alone at the bar with really friendly bartenders. Food is always great and the alcohol milkshakes remind me of a favorite restaurant back home. You can’t go wrong with the Cinnamon toast crunch one! And the tvs are great!
However, at night this place is completely different. Unfortunately it goes from sports bar to a club full of bottle service loving douche bags. I know that’s not the restaurants fault, it’s just unfortunate that I have to get out of there on a Saturday night by a certain time to avoid harassment and asshole clientel.
Other than the night life this bar is one of my favorites! I hope next year they have the SEC network ;)

This place is crazy on a weekend night! Lots of fun with a DJ and lots of drinks. The waitresses remind me of Vegas with little clothing on… some were in onesies or bathing suits. It gets crowded quickly.
Only downfall is the open air pass through to outside let’s all the smoke come inside.

If I had written this review last week they would have received 4 stars. But now I am forced to write this review after my visit tonight and the only reason they get two is because of the service last week.
Last week we went after Meet Me at Maynards. Three of us and a dog. When walking up from the back parking garage we asked if it was okay to enter from the patio since we had a dog. They said sure no problem. They then proceeded to bring a take out bowl of water for the dog. Service was good, we had some food and beer. After we paid and were leaving the main girl helping us (short hair really nice) had asked if we were from MMM and said we get 20% off our bill. We were already leaving and told her we would be back after next time.
Well, fast forward, one week later. Tonight. After finishing Meet Me at Maynards, this time five of us and a dog proceed onto the patio and take the same table from last week. We then wait, and wait. One table nearby was checked on by a waitress twice in that time. Nothing. I went to the bar and asked for menus. He gave me food menus. I took them back and we looked figuring our waitress would be by soon and we would get drink menus. Then a hostess seats some people outside, walks past us, says nothing. I then go in to two employees standing at the bar, wait for them to finish talking. I ask if I can get a drink menu and a waitress to come to our table. She asks where we are sitting and I point it out. This is how the conversation proceeds:
Her: Did you come in from the patio?
Me: Yes
Her: Well, over there is our front door. That is why we have a hostess.
Me: Um, okay. Last week we were told it was fine if we came in from the patio.
Her: Were you here late at night?
Me; No, it was the exact same time a week ago.
Her: Yeah, well you arent…
Me: No worries, we will go somewhere else.
This is a learning moment for management there. The appropriate response would be, «Let me get you some menus and get someone to help you.» Instead I was scolded. I thought we were doing the appropriate thing since we had an animal, but this girl was beyond passive aggressive (I know, I do it well myself).
On our way out the original girl who helped us last week (short hair, very nice) was apologizing profusely. But by that point I was so annoyed and put off I did not want to hear it.
This is unfortunate for them because they could have had a repeat group of customers every Monday. I will not send anyone there anytime in the near future.

I was in town visiting and we decided to go in because of all the TVs and I wanted to grab a drink and watch some college football. I sat at the bar and waited for 15 min no one said hello or offered me a menu or asked if I wanted something to drink. They served a customer next to me and ignored me, they had plenty of staff so not sure what the excuse would be. Horrible i wouldn’t come back here if the food and booze was free and they handed you a $ 100 bill on the way out!
Oh yes and the door man. HI Fi if your doorman is the first person you interact with when they walk in to your establishment he is the one that sets the tone for the experience. Your doorman is rude and not courteous and set a bad video from the get go.

The high fries are the best. Drinks are good and strong. My wife complain ed about the sourdough rolls on the burgers. They were dry you may want to bring your own bread the burgers were good size there were TV screens galore which is great for game day our waitress was cute food was average my daughter is not a complainer but her pulled pork sandwich which was served cold was taken off of the bill when something was said.
management was friendly. This place is tough to rate

First time here and it was average, This is like the place to go when you graduate from Maloney’s. Aside from the obnoxious bros and an interior that would only make Jon Taffer proud, it was a solid experience, Our waitress was clearly annoyed with the pair of obnoxious, borderline misogynistic groups of bros that were laughing so loud that I had to literally shout to speak to my wife.
The food was actually quite good. We went with a pretzel as an appetizer, which ended up being a massive surprise. Baked to perfection on the outside with the precise amount of fluff in the middle. I should’ve ordered another one.
The main entrée took a bit of time to select because they do have a pretty solid menu, so I settled on whatever burger that comes with a fried egg, which I’m entirely too lazy to look up the name of.
Honestly, The burger was a bit dry and was lacking in flavor. It wasn’t unpalatable, nor was it even bad, it was just… meh.
The fries were cooked well and seasoned just fine. Adequate at best. Nothing special but still solid.
The service was just pretty average. And when I say service, I am more speaking to the entire establishment. The waitress seemed partially annoyed but not with us and, given the circumstances, I couldn’t blame her. They have a great concept, a pretty vibrant location and there is some potential with the food. But they seem intent on drawing the most abhorrent crowd possible and that’s a problem that will prevent me from coming back on most nights.
Also, if this place is the type of place that always draws men who like to give cat calls to girls crossing the street, I won’t be back at all.

I’ve been to HiFi a few times. It definitely has a club-​type atmosphere and less of a sports bar atmosphere. On my last visit they had just rolled out a new menu. We ordered a wrap and a burger. Both were unimpressive. The burger was overcooked. The flavor wasn’t very good apart from a delicious aioli sauce. The fries that came with the burger were thin and tasty.
The chicken wrap was also lackluster. There wasn’t much flavor. As far as the service went, it was ok. As usual they weren’t very knowledgeable about the beer that they had.
Mediocre experience.

Stopped in for a quick happy hour while d-​town filing an eviction. Needed a beer and heard about Hi-​Fi. Happy to report their tap selections included some excellent IPA’s and friendly staff.
Chicken wings dry rub w Bourbon BBQ sauce and blue cheese on the side results in fantastic crispy skin and well seasoned meaty wings and delicious sauces to dip on the side.
I will be back!

Our most recent experience at hifi was definitely worth writing home about. It all started with excellent service from Sylvia, the bar manager. She made sure we got our table and set us up for a good time, as I let her know we were celebrating that night. Her hospitality was outstanding, she went above and beyond.
Throughout the night Sylvia came and checked on us several times, just to make sure we were having a good time and had everything we needed. She even brought out the jenga and corn hole games. Our drinks were never low and the food was bomb dot com.
Her fun personality made our experience beyond memorable. She was the best thing about Hifi and I’ll definitely be back to see her!

HiFi has good qualities in particular situations.
Situation A — You want to watch the UA game, but you know every bar will be packed. HiFi takes reservations!!! My group of 10 reserved an outdoor couch booth. The game started at 2, and we got there at 1:45. A security guard was near our table, guarding it from general seating. It was perfect. There is a $ 200 minimum for the outdoor tables, but with 10 people that wasn’t a problem at all.
Situation B — You want to party. HiFi has the beats, the booze and the bros to complete a crazy night out.
So I may have a love/​hate relationship with HiFi, but I know what it offers, and that will keep me coming back.

If you want a crowded, hot and sweaty, young bar, with hot and mostly naked dancers on the bar, and skimply dressed patrons, go here, you will love it!!!
The music is loud and fun, the drinks are fair, and the atmosphere is high energy and dripping with sweat! The light show is fun and adds to the high energy sex-​appeal atmosphere.
If you are looking for a low-​key place to have a drink and sit, don’t come here at night.
However! Came here for date night dinner (1^st visit/​part of the review was for a Bachelorette party) and it was a completely! different experience. I hadn’t even noticed all the cool walls. One is a wall of (non-​functioing) speakers and the ceiling over the bar is a big mural. There is something on the drinks list for everyone! And did I mention the «adult» milkshakes… Because they have alcoholic milkshakes… Nothing says you’re a kid in an adults body like an alcoholic milkshake… The food is good bar food. Lots of fried food, lots of burgers, lots of appetizers. I HIGHLY recommend the grilled cheese (add pickels, trust me) and sweet potato chips. And the Sunny side burger (the one with the fried egg) is huge and looked awesome!

Depends what you want. Presumptuous and obnoxious at night, but a pretty good brunch/​happy hour/​catch the game spot. Happy hour deals make beer reasonably priced ($ 3 bud light), while the food is pretty good (quinoa salad or chicken strips).
Avoid the obnoxious times and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The place is kind of small if you’re going out to dance for drinks it’s really great it’s a nice little sports bar with TVs all around always showing the most current games, this actually was my second time here and I’m glad I came back the only reason why came back was for the margaritas they actually make a really good margarita kind of makes it feel like you’re in Mexico! Not to many places to sit and the tables not too friendly either but if you’re just going in for a drink or to catch the game it’s a nice little spot to hang out at.

Last night was busy busy busy at Hi-​Fi… line was long… and didn’t seem to be worth the wait. This place made me feel uncomfortable and out of place, maybe it was because all the girls were wearing booty shorts that showed too much, maybe it was because I noticed a lot of perverted male stares everywhere. or maybe because it just seemed like this place was trying too hard to be a LA club or something…
Hi-​Fi just didn’t feel like the right place for me to hang out with friends, its apparent they are catering to the 21+ greek life crowd. I saw some people get turned away at the door because they weren’t dressed up which seemed a little snobby to me. Their pricing seemed out of place too for this town… «milkshakes» for $ 10? A couple of drinks here. and you are probably looking at a $ 50 dollar tab… I don’t think so.
