For over 35 years Hamburger Stand has become famous for it’s one-​of-​a-​kind chili, made from a secret recipe. Why does Hamburger Stand specialize in great Hamburgers, Chili Cheese Dogs, Chili Cheese Fries, Corn Dogs and Soft Serve? It’s because we are proud of being unlike everyone else and we want to be the best at what we specialize in. This concept of daring to be different is how the company has behaved since its inception in 1980. This willingness to stand out from the crowd is still alive and well today. We are the only place where you get chili cheese fries on top of your hot dog and then finish it off with a dipped cone! It’s delicious and fun and it’s only at Hamburger Stand. Hamburger Stand also serves delicious Shakes, Cones and Sundaes made from Tastee-​Freez soft serve at most Locations.

History

Established in 1980.

The Original Hamburger Stand, founded by John Galardi in 1980, started the «burger wars» in the 80’s. Touted as the low-​price quality burger, served in generic packaging, it quickly became a fan favorite with a cult following. Soon after expanding the concept, the big burger chains dropped their prices to compete. But the cult-​like following of fans never left and the company is thriving today. Over the years, the word «Original» was dropped from the name, but they also added Wienerschnitzel Hot Dogs and Tastee Freez Soft Serve. Now you can get three of America’s most wanted brands all at one Hamburger Stand restaurant.
