Meh, took my car in for a routine oil change with a coupon for $ 19.99 after two exta quarts needed for my v8 my bill came up to $ 37. Seems really step for 2 more quarts of oil. If I want to be ripped off I’ll just go next door to Jiffy Lube. For now I’ll forget the coupn and go take my regular place.

If you want to be disrespected, threatened, and yelled at. this is the place for you! Not to mention they RIP you off! I took my vehicle to this location for awhile for oil changes. When my vehicle broke down & wouldn’t start, they said we needed a new module for $ 1,300+(that they couldn’t even fix & it had to go to the dealer). So after a second opinion (from a actual mechanic) & they got my vehicle to start with a ignition pin for about $ 190.00 total. Needless to say I am dealing with them again with a leaking radiator, that they replaced a year ago. The manager is hellish to deal with, he yelled at my husband & was Soo disrespectful when my husband called up there to explain the current situation.

Just moved to Tucson and had good luck with my Tarzana CA Goodyear, so, despite the fact that none of my records transferred over (CA GY’s are independently owner/​operated), AND the poor Unilocal rating, I gave it a shot. It’s just an oil change. In my preliminary visit, Fred greeted me, gave me a $ 10 discount card, and professionally explained what they do as far as inspections go. I brought the car in and was greeted very professionally, by Seth. Though he admitting to not having checked Unilocal,he was very helpful, calling me with «additional suggestions,» from his service professionals. The suggestions were a 3-​step fuel & induction system cleaning for $ 110.00 and a lifetime wheel balance for 68.00 (both incl. labor) that I declined. The printout didn’t show drastic issues regarding these fixes and he admitted that the issues weren’t critical. I appreciated the printout and the explanation and went on my way for a very reasonable $ 25.12.
There ARE other choices out there with higher ratings. I’m not sure which way I’ll go next time, but I have no heavy duty complaints about this place and the $$ was certainly reasonable.

I went in for a routine oil change. Twenty minutes later I get a call telling me that 2 tires are completely worn and 1 has a nail puncture that is not replaceable. They recommend I replace all the tires. I wasn’t having it since the tires had recently been replaced. So I then went to Discount Tire for a second opinion. The tires were fine and there were NO nail puncture on any of the tires!!! How incredibly dishonest! I will not return to Goodyear and I will not recommend them to my friends.

Those of us who know nothing about car repair probably all feel the same way about mechanics. They make you feel like a drunk prom queen. The next day all your friends tell you that you got taken advantage of… but I digress.
That being said: Did I visit the same place as the other reviewer here? I have been coming to this Goodyear for some time. It’s never «under new management» which, to me, indicates there was a problem with the old management. The guys that I deal with seem to have been there for quite some time and, for the most part, seem above board.
Prices can seem high for some repairs, but I never feel like they are trying to sell me something I don’t need and I don’t get that icky feeling that I do from a lot of car repair places. Not exactly a glowing recommendation, but there are worse places for car repairs.

I am tired of this Goodyear and probably all Goodyears in Tucson. This one in particular is HORRIBLE!!!
First off, aside from them being open on Sundays (the only good thing about them), there service is atrocious. I was helped by this guy named Randy when I got there and he didn’t know anything. For someone who had to work on the weekends, by himself with only the mechanic there, he should’ve known more about Goodyear and how to work the computer system.
Randy kept trying to sell me all this unnecessary stuff left and right and when you asked him to do something, but not the other, he would say that he didn’t know how to do it and that I should call on Monday to talk to Larry and get it done.
Randy also didn’t know that the tire he sold me was not the correct tire for my car and that driving on this tire would cause my entire car to be out of whack! Even though I asked him repeatedly if this tire, although it was a different brand, would make a difference to my car and he assured me it would not… to my surprise, I later learned from another Goodyear that I would have to replace all 3 tires (which are pretty new) or get the tire I bought from Goodyear switched to the same kind as all my other tires.
Randy is also one of those guys who tries to sell every little thing to a person, claiming your car needs this test done and this part, etc. I remember when I was sitting there, waiting, he kept coming into the waiting area to talk to this woman and kept telling her she should have X part inspected or replaced and I believe all she went there for was an oil change.
When I called the Goodyear that made this mistake, I spoke with the manager, Larry. When I first met Larry, he only added to the incompetence of that Goodyear. He didn’t know anything, seemed loss and for the manager, who is supposed to know how to run the place, he seemed horrible. He is also not a very friendly and personable man. When I talked to him about the tire mistake, he continued to say «so what do you want me to do about it?» Such a disrespectful response for a manager. He should have offered to alleviate the situation, but instead he kept asking what to do and even said «I know you don’t want to come to my store, so what do you want me to do about it?» I never once said I didn’t want to go to his store; I just wanted my tire switched with the correct one.
Larry ended up being a pathetic manager and pawned me off to the other Goodyear that I went to that told me about my tire issue. Honestly though, I am sick and tired of Goodyears in Tucson, AZ. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a Goodyear before until now (and I have been to Goodyears in Georgia and Florida). I usually appreciate Goodyear service, but now I’m going to think twice about going there.
So be careful with which Goodyear you go to and definitely DO NOT GO to this particular Goodyear. It is filled with old men who don’t know what they are doing and all they try to do is sell unnecessary tests/​car parts.
