Dr. Sandy Gibson has been practicing dentistry since 1988 when she graduated from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry.

Whether working in a large clinic or in private practice, Dr. Gibson has always taken pride in providing high quality dentistry with a nurturing touch. Gaining the confidence of her patients and seeing their restored smiles and dental health has been the most rewarding part of her profession. She takes the time to listen to her patient’s goals and concerns, conducts a thorough evaluation of their dental needs, and develops and offers solutions that works for them.

She has now added hi-​tech diagnostic equipment along with a clean, comfortable environment to provide state of the art dental treatment.

I have not been to a general dentist for about 8 years or so for any work that I needed. I’ve been seen by my periodontist who I worked for. I’ve had my cleanings every three months with check ups and X-​rays. However, a car accident I had a few weeks ago caused a laceration on my tongue. A few days later I was biting down on a chunk of soft bread and then heard the «crunch» sound. A piece of my molar broke off. I decided since I didn’t have a general dentist of late to go to. So I remembered a friend of mine goes to Dr. Gibson. I called up and said I didn’t have any pain but I know I need a crown. Explained I was a long time Dental Assistant so I diagnosed the situation I was in and knew a crown was needed. They made an appointment for the next day. I am so totally impressed by the office staff. I’m very sensitive to this being in the field for many years. Met Dr. Gibson and she was sensitive to my needs. She explains everything she is doing. Even spraying air to dry the tooth. Very comforting for patients to hear what is happening. Dr. concurred with my diagnoses. So away we went with the procedure. Today, in many offices you have the prep for the crown and get the crown the same day. Some offices send the impression out to be made in a dental lab. This really was awesome experience. So by the end of the day I had my new crown. The Chair Side Assistants really are very competent. This practice is highly recommended by someone who has years of experience in the field. I’ve seen it all.

New (again) to Tucson and having severe tooth pain, I scheduled with a not-​to-​be-​named-​here dentist because they came up in a holistic dentist search — and I really prefer the nontoxic lifestyle as much as possible. After a consult with that other dentist, they rescheduled me for a cleaning and xrays two days later. I was in so much pain, but I waited. Then they cancelled my appointment!
In tears (hey — I’m a sleep-​deprived, hormonal mom of an infant!), I called the first dentist local to me that came up in my insurance carriers website. That was Dr Gibson’s office. I spoke to the receptionist, who was just lovely and caring on the phone, and she was not able to get me in that day, but recommended I head to the endodontist. I was able to get that appointment within just a few hours and very quick relief.
Fast forward and I ultimately ended up at Dr Gibson’s office for a crown. She was so kind and gentle and friendly (I could go on). And even though she wasn’t a «holistic» dentist, she wasn’t pushing unnecessary procedures on me and understood my desire for minimizing exposure to chemicals, etc. I can’t say it often about dentists, but I really liked her — and the whole office really. It’s bright and cheery and the staff is all terrific.
I liked her enough to bring my two little kids in for a cleaning a couple of months later. They are 6 and 3. Dr Gibson and the hygienist were very sweet to them and the kids weren’t at all hesitant about being put in their care.

I adore Dr. Gibson. She is so kind and caring and her staff is amazing. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for her and when I have had an emergency they have found time in her schedule for me to be seen.

Dr Gibson has been voted by her peers two years in a row as Tucson’s Top Dentist. No wonder I like her so much. Very skilled and knowledgable, kind and caring. Friendly staff. Wait time 5 – 10 minutes. Never a bad experience. Had 6 month smile braces put on recently to straighten a few teeth that have moved with age.
