I have been shopping at this location of years! I buy all my cleaning supplies, toiletries, some clothes, presents, holiday decorations etc there. Yesterday I went to exchange a pair of shorts that happened to be a different size that the hanger(THEONETIME I DIDNOTCHECKTHAT), the shorts had a little lint that would have come off with a roller air packaging tape. I was told that they were unable to take them because they had been worn. First of all I never wore them they were to small, second the tag was still on. The manager I spoke with was rude and took her job way to serious, she literally starred me down. I will be calling corporate her actions were unprofessional. I will NEVER go back to that location again.

I love dollar stores, especially when they are conveniently in my area. I’m not a cheapskate; however, there are some items you should NOT have to pay more than a dollar for. That would include: pencils, posterboard, disposable paper and plasticware, cheap holiday decorations, thank you cards, batteries, mini plastic dinosaurs, mini plastic spiders, tea candles, silk flowers, and potholders. This Family Dollar Store location has most of the trappings the other dollar store chain offers. The service has always been very friendly so far, and even the cashiers ooh and aah over the bargains. «Wow! Can you believe you bought all that for just a few bucks!?» «JEEZ Christmas ornaments for A DOLLAR? That’s AMAZING!» The novelty clearly has not worn off for them yet. It has not for me either, as I return, again and again, in search of a plastic brachiosaurus, or an office Christmas stocking, or neon pink poster board for crafts.
