This isn’t the best Eegee’s I’ve ever been to but It isn’t exactly the worst either. Last time I went they put mayo instead of house dressing on my veggie grinder, and it wasn’t the first time they’ve messed up my order so I don’t know that I’ll be going back to this one.

I ordered a flavor cube which I though was a great idea for people to get the flavor of the month any month they want! Well I couldn’t pick it up on the day I had ordered it because my daughter was sick, so I went the very next day and they said it was no longer available for pick up. I then explained that my daughter was sick and if I could get a refund. They dismissed me and gave me the number to the main office on Ajo. I called and was told the person I needed to speak to was out of the office for the day so I left a message with my name, number, and order information. It has been 3 weeks! No returned call, no email, and no refund! I have emailed and called with no luck. Needless to say the flavor cube idea sounded great but if you can’t even talk to a person about getting a refund. It’s simply not worth the trouble of losing money. I’ll stick to strawberry year round.

I recommend you only buy drinks from this store. This is not the first time the sandwich maker has gotten the order wrong. I don’t understand why this particular store seems to lack the ability to get orders right on a consistent basis. I ordered two sandwiches, one turkey and the other one ham. I ended up with two ham sandwiches. I guess I am going to have drive miles out of my way to another store the next time I want something from Eegees.

I have been eating at Eegee’s for 45 years and have never had bad food. My sub that I ordered today was not bad, it was ugly. I ordered their Slam Dunk special, a 5 inch roast beef with cheese and au jus and a small fry. Because the fries weren’t cooked they had me pull around the corner for 3 – 4 minutes to wait. I got my order it was all crammed into a small bag. When I got home the au jus lid was off of the container and it had all spilled out. The paper around the sub it was completely smashed with all of the cheese stuck to the paper. There was meat on only half of the sub. The fries mush have been the bottom of the bag, all were 1 — 1.5 inches long. And I paid $ 7.41 for this !!!

This time we on had the frozen eegees. The kids love them. My favorite is the iced teagee. They always have a flovor of the month. Wish they were keep the tangerine around. Its the best. You can get party packs which come with everything you need to take this anywhere. You get cups, serving spoon, spoons and it comes in a Styrofoam ice chest. I use them for classroom party treats and they always enjoy them. Its been a long time since I’ve had the food so will have to wait to comment on that. But a nice cold eegee is the peerfect treat anytime. They even have a low call strawberry eegee.

On the way back to Phoenix, I searched the Unilocal app for a Sandwich joint nearby to grab some lunch before the trip. This place had 4&5 Star reviews, so I thought I found a winner. I ordered: 8″ Deluxe Grinder, $ 4.89 French Fries, $ 2.29 The Grinder was just ok at best. I thought the Bread was too soft and sweet for my tastes… almost like Wonder Bread, but shaped like a Hoagie. The Fries were nothing to brag about either. Overall, it’s a 3 Star joint for me… would have given 2.5 Stars if Unilocal had ½ Stars available. Return Factor — 10%

Eegees is always consistently good at every location. The employees are friendly and helpful. All their sandwiches are great and the their fruit slush speaks for itself. Don’t forget to have an Eegee Fizz once in a while. I don’t like their tuna salad because they make it southern style with sweet pickles — nasty. Last, as a teacher, their party packs of Eegee are an affordable($ 20 for the 50 serving) reward for my class and I always have extra for my hard working colleagues.

This review is only for the eegee’s frozen fruit slushes… I have not tried the subs yet(kinda iffy on them) or the fries, which I have to admit I am curious about the ranch fries and pizza fries(say what)… Eegee’s…what a name(apparently it is a combo of the originator’s initials). It started out as a food vending truck and now is a 23 store chain! 7 – 11, 7 – 11 who? That is how I feel after trying the fresh fruit frozen slush here. I had the lemon. Which had the perfect balance of tart, sweet and sour… prob. because it is natural! No rock gut here from sugar laden syrups and cloying sour additives. It had a light and delicate flavor. My favorite part was the«ribbons» of fresh lemon rind… so refreshing, a perfect palate cleanser. And they do not skimp on the rind… but don’t let that turn you away, just try it! I am also super curious about the ice teagee’s…freshly brewed tea mixed with your favorite eegee. I’m imagining a super hero powered arnold palmer! And then it just would be fast food if it was all natural, so why not try the eegee’s fizz! Mix your favorite eegee’s with any soda. I’m sure I will love it as well. The normal flavors are lemon, piña colada, and strawberry. There is one flavor that rotates monthly. Now I hate to admit it, but I was thinking… hummm, this could be tasty for the adults who are 21 and up… and guess what, I am not alone! Their web page has this: eegee’s daquiri Add rum to Pina Colada or Strawberry eegee’s eegee’s margarita Tequila with Lemon or Frosty Lime eegee’s eegee’s wine cooler Your favorite flavor of eegee’s plus your favorite wine eegee’s «saskatchewan squeeze» Canadian Club whiskey and Lemon eegee’s, eh eegee’s champagne cocktail Toast your special occasions with Strawberry eegee’s and champagne eegee’s alcohol-free punch *1 Fun Pak of eegee’s frozen fruit drink *26-ounce cans of orange juice concentrate *22-litre bottles of a lemon-lime soda(like Sierra Mist) *22-litre bottles of ginger ale *lemon, lime & orange slices *ice Directions: Place contents of the Fun Pak in a big punch bowl. Add orange juice concentrate, ginger ale & lemon-lime soda. Add 2 big scoops of ice. Add the fruit slices. It’s colorful. It’s delicious! eegee’s «Instant Party» You can be prepared to serve expected or surprise guests something really special at any time. Simply buy Quart or Biggee cups of your favorite flavors of eegee’s and hard-freeze them in your refrigerator’s freezer at home. When your guests arrive, drop the frozen eegee’s and liquor into a blender, and give it a whirl. You’ll serve up a delicious drink your friends will be talking about for years. Bonus, email club coupons and coupons on their web page… the more I save, the more slushes for me!

The parking lot has about thirty spaces similar to any fast food eatery. The place was quite empty on my particular visit. I was greeted as I walked into the eatery and placed my order with the cashier. I ordered a salami sub. The cashier asked me if I wanted fries and I told her yes please. After placing my order, I looked at the menu and noticed fries were not included into my meal, but normally a separate charge besides the sub itself. At this point, I was upset at how the cashier failed to mention fries were not included into my meal combo. The food took about ten-fifteen minutes to make, but worth it. The taste of the sub was fresh and the bread was presently tasty. The subs taste really fresh. There is something about these subs that make me just think of «freshness» right after taking a bite. Not to mention, the subs are huge! Regardless if you get the 5′, 8′ or 12′ all sizes are huge and packed with fresh ingredients. I recommend, if you are ever in Arizona and your craving a sub sandwich try Egee’s they’ll keep you happy! After I finished my footlong sub, fries and drink I was full for the rest of the day!

Great sandwiches and pretty good frozen fruit drinks… I’m just not crazy about their prices. $ 10.00 for a sub, fries and a drink? Yikes! Also, one time when I came here they gave me a roast beef sandwich when I ordered a roast beef/turkey combo.

Yum, Yum, Yum! I’ve spent the past 5 springs in Tucson and never went to Eegees. I went for the first time last week and have already returned. Their roast beef is so good. The staff was very patient when explaining everything to me(what’s a grinder? Italian style with peppers and onions, what’s a fizz? a icey with Sierra Mist). I haven’t had the fries, but people rave about them. If you want a great sandwich(especially roast beef) then stop here! My dad had the pastrami and said it was very good, but not as good as Togo’s hot pastrami.
