At Discovery Learning Center our monthly theme based curriculum provides your children with all the necessary readiness skills they will eventually need for kindergarten. It provides activities which develop good muscle coordination and cognitive skill development like reading, writing and math readiness. The goal of our program is to make learning fun and individualized. We offer full and half day programs that involve indoor and outdoor play; art, music, story telling readiness skill development and dramatic play. We have extended care and are available on days when the public school is closed for children in K– 3rd grade. We have a summer camp with onsite swimming. We have artificial grass for our infants. Discovery is a warm welcoming environment. Joan and Roy bought the childcare center in 1979. Before coming to Tucson, they previously ran another preschool for ten years after Joan taught grades Kindergarten through 4th grade in the public schools Roy uses his skills in design and construction daily to ensure that all the equipment is safe and up to date.

All of our teachers meet state requirements and are trained and experienced in the field of Early Childhood Education. Our teachers are carefully chosen mature adults who are experienced working with young children. They love working with your children, watching them learn and develop.
