I love this place! My dad’s boss is a member here but they are very inviting to new people! We usually come on Fridays for the fish Fridays and it’s awesome! The people who work and volunteer here are great and I love coming here when work allows me too.

Coming to this DAV is a family tradition. Ever since we moved to Tucson, my sister, dad, and I have come every Friday night for the fish fry. The fried catfish is the best I’ve ever had, which is surprising since we’re in the middle of the desert. Everyone seems to know everyone, and the bartender Julie is very nice and friendly and funny, and knows exactly what we want every time. It reminds me of Cheers, where everybody knows your name.
The food has been great every time. The wait staff friendly, engaging, and the food comes out fresh and delicious. When another family member comes to visit, we always drag them here on Friday nights. No doubt we will be coming here for years to come!
