History

Established in 2014.

The Design Studio started in 2014 by Monica and her husband Gregg, after the birth of their son. The business started as a home based business, and we then moved to an professional office at the Civano Business Center and a year later we have moved our showroom to the downtown area.

Mónica G. Leyva is a graduate from The Southwest University of Visual Arts, formerly known as The Art Center Design College, accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). Her carrier started in 1998 as a part-​time furniture designer and in 2005 decided to formalize her education in the field. With over 15 years of experience specializing in residential design, Mónica enjoys custom tailoring each project to meet the individual needs of her clients. Functionality, creativity and attention to detail are the key components of timeless design.
