Desert Moon Retreat specializes in providing a unique opportunity to enjoy the Desert Southwest in a tranquil atmosphere while exploring a one-​of-​a-​kind Hopi inspired Architecture of all round rooms with curving walls of glass, all wood ceiling, and hand-​built furniture. Main house is 2200 sf 2 bedroom/​2 bath with all the amenities of a modern home or the 400 sf Guest House with full bath and kitchenette. Each house comes with satellite TV and wireless internet, air conditioning, access to the pool and hot tub, 300 count linens and towels.

If there were a 10 star option I would give it! Desert Moon Retreat is such a special and unique place. I moved to LA several years ago and come home to Tucson frequently for visits. I feel like I have been looking for this place all over Tucson for years and now have finally found it.
The home itself is incredible. Walking down the halls, you can’t help but notice the placement of every window, framing the mature Saguaros and how the curved walls create a flow through the home. Every detail of the architecture reveals a perfect alignment of nature, spirit, beauty and craftsmanship.
In addition, you can not get a more calm and peaceful place then in the middle of the Sonoran desert. the Mountains, cacti and the pool make for a perfect day.
Maria and Carla, who run the retreat, are great and exceptionally professional and respectful.
To top it all off you can bring your pups. Mine loved the retreat!
Again, I can not recommend this place highly enough! My only fear is that the word will get out and it won’t be available when I come home for Tucson trips. :)
