The Vargas Ranch is located in one of the oldest farming neighborhoods in Tucson Arizona and overlooks the San Xavier Mission. Here at The Vargas Ranch we specialize in training both dogs and horses. The Vargas Ranch is also walking distance from the Santa Cruz River. When you train with us we will not only be doing dog training but people training for dogs helping you to effectively communicate with your dog in real life situations, giving you the relationship that you have always wanted. There is not a one size fits all training method so we pride ourselves on staying current on the latest training methods and tools by attending different workshops and schools. I have always had a passion for animals and was pursuing a career as a veterinarian until one of my own dogs led me to the world of dog training. Once I started training with my dog, I realized how many other people were in the same situation. I noticed that people needed help repairing their relationship with their dogs and regaining balance in their home. Since then, I have served as an intern with multiple trainers to polish my skills, I have worked in various training facilities, received my training certification, become an approved evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program, and is an approved trainer for the non-​profit group TADSAW, which provides service dogs to veterans and current military suffering from TBI, MST and PTSD. I look to always continue My education in order to keep a diverse training approach and continually stay up-​to-​date on current training methods.
