Comcast Service Center

I have my cable through Comcast and my bill is $ 60 a month. I recently moved and noticed an additional charge on my bill for $ 50. Initially I went in to get an explanation of my bill and the customer service who helped me at the counter (blonde, late 30’s, heavy set) man was rude from the very beginning. I asked him to explain the charges. Either he wasn’t explaining it to me in a way that made sense or I just wasn’t understanding… regardless he should not have treated poorly. I left upset, sat in the parking lot and scheduled NEW SERVICE WITH CENTURY LINK. I will NOT pay a company that speaks to me the way they did.

Terrible. We called to get a bundle for internet, with HBO, free DVR for 1 year, and extra channels to include PAC-​12. However the installer came and stated we would have to pay $ 10/​hr for DVR and had never heard of free DVR being offered. Both on the phone and in person we wanted to speak to management, who was never made available to speak to us… hm. And in the end, we wasted 6 hours of our time with the installer (who is a disgruntled employee) and ended up not going with xfinity. Poor communication between sales and customer service/​installation. Now we have no Internet and no tv. Back to Direct TV it is!

I know I will be stoned for giving a positive review to Comcast but their service center out on Cortaro has never been anything but professional and helpful. I recently reconfigured our business account with Comcast and had to do so over the phone with the business people since the service center can’t handle it.
I had to kill 5 static IP’s, kill the rental business modem and provision a new modem that was owned rather than leased. And this all had to happen rather smoothly and quickly as we have 250+ members in our computer club who use this account.
Fifteen minutes later it was done, looked up our billing online the next day and all the changes were made properly. Five days later, two Comcast techs show up at our village center (where the club is located) to test all our lines, modem quality, etc. This was unsolicited and when they were done, we jumped a complete tier in speeds over what we are paying for. They were polite, left behind direct phone numbers for a LOT of customer service people in various areas of Comcast.
Then, on the personal side, techs show up at my house saying my modem signal at the head end is pretty bad. Turns out the tech who installed our Comcast cable at home left a DirecTV splitter in place and ran lines through it which degraded the signal. They replaced that, put a new outside box in place as the old one was getting pretty ragged looking. Speeds didn’t change (¹²⁰⁄₁₂ is what I get anyway) but by uncorrectable packets went to zero almost immediately.
I don’t know if they are experiencing increased competition or have simple decided they can’t take the poor customer service rep any longer but these incidents sure convinced me that something has changed for the good.

I would give 0 if I could. Comcast in general is horrible. Like someone else stated, dont bother calling, you’ll end up waiting an hour to actually talk to someone then it ends up being someone in a different country you can’t even understand. I am paying over $ 130 for cable and internet. This first started off with my internet not working. I also found out that I was paying for 50mbps and getting 13mbps. They told me it was my modem and to go exchange it for a new one. So I went to this service center, they gave me a new one and it all went down hill from there. Since then, the cable in my room hasnt been working, I have called tech support 5 times just for this issue, (this marks over 20 times total that I have called just for different reasons, i. e billing), they couldn’t fix it, they said a repair tech would be calling, never did. Now they are sending someone out and they said I will be charged $ 70 for the visit, then I have to call billing AGAIN, to get it waived. In addition, my main console in the living now isn’t working and the DVR won’t record. I am EXTREMELY FURIOUS. I HATE how this is the only providing cable in my area because I would not even consider them in the first place.

Normally, I cannot stand Comcast’s customer service or monopolistic business model. However, I just had my first positive experience. I was having issues with my equipment, and went to this location to switch it out. The representative was friendly and switched out my equipment with no questions asked. She also was happy to give me and upgraded remote control for free. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I was very satisfied with Comcast today.

After years of being charged hundreds of dollars, we called comcast to once again tryand get a lower rate. We discontinued our phone service, TV and just kept Internet. We were told by Amanda that there would be a $ 200 disconnect fee for early termination but if we called back to reconnect that would be waived. Lo and behold, not 2 weeks later, we received a mailing from Comcast that provided tv and Internet for 79.95! We called comcast and were told that the 200 hadn’t been charged and to call if it showed on our statement. Well, it definitely showed and when I called to get it credited, Tony (pretty sure that wasn’t his real name) said the best he could do was give us a $ 100 credit. I asked to speak to his supervisor, his name was not given, and he told me we would not be given any credit. I can honestly say that he was a douche. I wish only the worst for comcast and their empty promotions. I would advise that you record any conversations with them since they tell you one thing and charge another. They conveniently leave those promises out of the conversations that are typed into their computer. Not happy. Negative 5 stars.

Jacquie is the best! She always lets me know about the new gizmos. Just left with two new back light remotes and we will be exchanging our 2^nd X1 box for an upgrade.
Mentioned that the internet didn’t seem any faster with the upgrade. She said to unplug it for 30 seconds and it should work fine.
Time for a new plan and she did her magic plus 3 months of Starz free.

Comcast is the worst in Arizona. I moved out here from New Jersey and there is no data limit there. Also the internet is poor at best, random disconnects while playing games and netflix movies take 6 hours to watch. Their customer support is the worst, usually its someone in India or where ever who just tells you to power cycle your modem. Sad thing is they have a monopoly in my area.

We have been in our rental a month and every other day mid afternoon the internet slows to useless. There are no problems with the equipment and other members in the community have the same problem.
Obviously Comcast is aware of this problem and simply does not care.
I am very happy I do not live here year around to deal with such a bad company.

Had Cox before me moved across town and now have Comcast and I HATE IT. Terrible service, constant outages, and to top it off maybe the worst customer service ever. I want to change services so badly and will do as soon as there is another option.

If I could give a negative score I would. Trying to get services transferred from one state to another with only receiving email as we were told we could is absurdly complicated. You can’t get to a real person to sort things out. And then online chat they follow script. God save me please!

We have had several bad experiences with Comcast. However, when your housing complex tells you you have no other choice, you are left to their mercy.
We ordered cable and internet because we got one of their deals. When the tech came out to fix the cable, we didn’t have a TV so we couldn’t test it out. The internet worked though.
Upon getting a TV, we plugged it in and it didn’t work. It kept saying, «This channel will be available shortly.» So we called, and because they were unable to digitally reset it, they sent out another tech. This time, it worked.
However, we were charged $ 50 for the «service charge» of having to send a tech over. Considering that our service didn’t work the first time, we figured it shouldn’t be our responsibility to pay for their «service charge». We called customer service and the woman in billing is extremely rude, telling us, «who told you it would be for free? We always charge.» After a lot of arguing, we got $ 25 back.
It seems that all their TV advertising about «we have changed» is just that. Advertising.
Can I give them a –1 rating?

Despite the reviews, I like Comcast. I just recently signed up for cable and Internet. The lady who helped my boyfriend and I was so kind and got us all set up with the best prices they were offering! I have encountered some employees there who didn’t have very good customer service skills but she was awesome! I don’t remember her name I think it started with a D and she just moved too tucson recently. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Really I would give them negative 5 stars. I HATE calling into Comcast! I have had several internet and cable issues and every time I call in I am on the phone for at least 30 min. I get «accidentally «hung up on» more then once. I have asked several times to speak with a manager which never happens. They will tell me someone will call back they NEVER do. Now I have been down to my local Office on Cortaro and they are nice. The MANY techs that have been out to my home are very friendly. With the choppy service and terrible phone customer service, Comcast has to be one of the worst companies out there. It’s obvious that the management doesn’t care how their customers are treated.

Xfinity/​comcast has the most horrible cust svc reps ever, there is no sense of urgency. A technician was supposed to come out and connect the cables so my cable could be connected on fri and never did I was lied to and was told he would be here within 3 – 4 hours after waiting ALL day no one ever showed up same thing on sat ive called several times regarding the issue and I am now scheduled for an appointment on tuesday, which is ridiculous because this is not my fault.

This is the second time in two weeks that my modem has gone down. I called Comcast and after five minutes of being redirected multiple times through an auto prompt, I still didn’t have an option to speak to a real person. I was able to send a signal to my modem to reset it through the auto prompt which surprisingly worked but it would’ve been nice if that was one of the first options and I didn’t have to wait on the phone for five minutes. I have been thinking about upgrading my service with Comcast, but now I think I’m going to go with someone else. Terrible customer service. In fact no customer service. Would be great if you can actually speak to a real person. If my modem goes down again I will be switching service.

I just hate the idea that I start out with a smile and at every touch point they seem to make the wrong choice and I keep putting up with it. Three months ago I upgraded my service to HD and unfortunately, after four trips to the office the items I received from them (picked up myself after they didn’t show for the scheduled install date) had to be replaced as failed… one «refurbished» and shrink wrapped box blew a big puff of dust in my face when I plugged it in.
When I came back into town last week, the wireless wouldn’t work– the message in my computer screen said they no longer supported the modem I rent from them and… Yep, I had to use some of my vacation time to go down there with their equipment and get another refurbished unit. The woman that helped me gave me a hard time when I asked her to plug it in to make sure it lit up (yes…been there… done that)
Come on Comcast, you can do better.

Now the bums sent me a bill that was about double what I was promised! More hours spent on the phone with the blithering idiots at Comcast who seem to be in the business of deliberately frustrating complaints by switching phone calls to other equally blithering idiot departments and getting nowhere and very aggravating.
Finally I brought the stuff back to the store where I bought it it — on Cortaro Rd near Silverbell — in order to just cancel the whole thing — and the lady there resolved the billing issue — at least I hope she did — she said she did — and I should have gone back to her in the first place instead of dealing with the Comcast fools on the phone!

I’ve had issues with my modem and cable box and brought them both to the Comcast service center and was out of there in 10 min tops! With new modems and DVRs to boot. zero hassle.
I’ve had COX for a little over 4 years and was nervous about Comcast, but I tell you, the Internet is fast but about 10 to 15 bucks more.
Xfinity is pretty awesome I have to say. I’m a believer., givem a shot, but they area bit more expensive than what I’m used to.
