Server was gruff and the food was slightly burnt. The food came up quick but that was the only saving grace. I’ve had much better experiences at Burger Kings across the country. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at Burger King.

This place is just awful. The area surrounding this particular Burger King is nothing to write home about, but we were passing through to get somewhere else and were thirsty. My husband pulled into the drive-thru and ordered a large unsweet tea and a small diet Coke. Simple enough, but it wound up costing $ 4.54. I wish the price were the only issue. We got our drinks and my husband took one sip of his tea and made a pretty awful face. I asked him what was wrong and he told me it was terrible tasting. I tried it for myself and yes, it was absolutely disgusting. It was a mix of old or burned tea and – I kid you not, but this is the only way I can describe it – the way mildew smells. If that makes any sense. It had the worst after taste we’ve ever had. My diet Coke was flat, but thankfully we’d ordered it to get that terrible taste out of our mouths. My whole point is that if their drinks are this bad, I can only imagine how bad their food is.

Before ordering i asked a few questions about Burger King’s new menu items, I had asked about what was on the new Texas Burger or Tendergrill, asking if there were mayonnaise or a mayonnaise based sauce, and was told«no it doesn’t». I ordered the Texas Tendergrill(add Bacon) and Burger King’s new Sweet Potato Fries and Coca Cola. The Texas Tendergril was luke warm and had cole slaw sauce on it!(cole slaw is a mayonnaise based sauce! YUK!!) The Sweet Potato Fries? …cold soggy awful tasting sweet potato shavings & slivers! (sweet potatoes are similar size to russet potatoes and should be cut the same as regular potato fries). Even though i was really hungry, the taste of the sweet potato fry i tried and the sight of the cole slaw sauce on the Texas Tendergill i was served was enough to lose my appetite, I did not eat, and chose to be refunded, promptly!
