The journey began when Fryer was selected for an intensive cheesemonger training program at Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread and Wine in Chicago learning how cheese is made, storage and aging techniques, food safety, wine pairings and the art of tasting. After returning to Tucson and looking for places to find those extraordinary cheeses Fryer decided to take Tucson’s cheese scene to the next level and opened Blu A Wine & Cheese Stop.
