Awesome inventory and sharpening service. Great customer service. Great value and prices. These guys are professional, timely, and friendly.
I had them sharpen 5 blades for 20 $ (they were all done in under 15 minutes); 3 (of the good steel blades) came out razor sharp, enough to shave comfortably with; the 2 cheap ones were both extremely sharp, up to their full potential.

Awesome place. Came Arizona from Cali for family, plane to Arizona, car ride back. Couldn’t bring my knives and I just couldn’t take it haha. Came into the store and they were super friendly, very knowledgable, and they had very very good pricing for an actually store. Almost if not at internet pricing which is friggin awesome. Picked up a tenacious and went on my way. Def recommend to anyone living here or visiting and like me can’t handle not having a blade.

This dude is awesome. I don’t know where we gets inventory from because 99% of his knives are same price as amazon and eBay. He is extremely knowledgeable and can tell you pros and cons of different steel depending on what your using it for cooking, utility, tactical, swords, etc.
Has sharpened all our home kitchen knives as well as prep knives and they have been better and sharper then when they were new. Has also sharpened all of my personal knives and 2 swords with nothing but perfection.

I had never purchased a pocket knife for myself (with my previous EDC knife having been a hand-​me-​down), and even though I had done my homework I was a little intimidated about the prospect of actually going to a knife store. I was instantly put at ease by the friendly and knowledgeable salespeople, who could probably sense I was a bit out of my element and helped guide me towards a pocketknife that would fit my needs and my budget.
Their selection is very impressive and the staff is top notch. My only very tiny little quibble with this otherwise outstanding store is it smelled faintly of old cigarettes, kind of like a Las Vegas casino. This is possibly due to an old tenant or their next-​door neighbor in the strip mall where they are located, but it was a tiny bit unpleasant. That said, this should be overlooked — Blade Runner Knives is top quality and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to purchase just about any kind of knife.

My kitchen knives have been wearing out and the sharpening rod they came with was not getting the job done anymore. So before I lost a finger making dinner, I looked up knife sharpening. My first few looks weren’t that great. Then I went to Unilocal where I saw the reviews for Blade Runner amd thought i’d give it a shot. He was very well priced and had my four knives sharpened within an hour. And Tika, his beautiful dog, kept my two boys (both under 3) very happy. She couldnt keep away from the 9 month old which was funny but she was very sweet! I highly recommend him!

I have been to many knife stores in Arizona and California. This Blade Runner Knives store is simply the best in terms of customer service and pricing. This store is reason why i want to support small businesses and buy locally. The owner is very friendly, and knife sharpening is only $ 3. If you need knives or knife sharpening, this is the place.

This place is an example of why supporting locally owned shops is so important. I went in on a Saturday at 10am to get some kitchen knives sharpened. It was a one-​man operation, but the job was done in about 15 minutes. While I waited, the owner’s awesome dog, Tikaani, kept me company. Tikaani has just joined the team after being rescued at a shelter two weeks to the day before my visit.
The knives now have the best edge they’ve ever had, and all for $ 3.50 a blade. The quality, price, and awesome dog make me want to come back more often.

I just want to echo what most everyone else has said, great small business, fair prices. Found this place here on Unilocal!$ 3 for a good edge, can’t complain.
In fact, while I was waiting to be helped, an older wheelchair-​bound gentleman (probably on a limited fixed income) was in there, looking around and wanted his knife sharpened. The owner sharpened his knife, handed it back to him, and (to paraphrase) said «don’t worry about it, no charge, sir.» THAT’S the kind of businessman I’m happy to support.

The owner is a very good guy. I was considering buying online but when I found out about this store and talked with him for a while, I decided that paying a few extra bucks to help out this small business is DEFINITELY worth it. That’s not to say his prices are jacked up; they are very competitive with most online retailers. Like what Ryan L said, this shop is a «sharp» contrast to your typical mall-​ninja knife stores so come by for all of your knife needs: D

This place is the real deal. The plague of knife shops is the inventory of cheaply-​made junk ran by a guy that is more Rambo than expert…
This is not that place.
I noticed right away the collection of really good pieces that the untrained eye may not notice. There was a distinct lack of huge, bowie, serrated pieces of garbage that take up valuable counterspace. There were a number of collector pieces, but more than that, PRACTICAL pieces that I would actually use on a daily basis. I am an avid outdoorsman and a member of the military. I actually use my knives. They are tools and I treat them as such. I can honestly say that most of the stuff in this place I would carry without hesitation. Add to that, this guy really knows his stuff. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. His dog is also very friendly and enjoys a pet or two! Head on down to this place and give this man your business. He’s a local vendor that works hard and has a passion for his craft and it shows. That is the kind of person I don’t feel bad about parting with my money for.

After reading the other reviews we decided to take our knives to Blade Runner, we had an amazing experience. The owner still believes that the way to conduct business is to provide the best customer service possible and not what it is believed now a days to be customer service. My knives are razor sharp and he even took the time to teach me how to properly use a honing steel.

One of the last true knife stores in Arizona. Outstanding service with very reasonable prices. The owner has and outstanding knowledge of knives. And the prices beat most internet pricing on the knives I was interested in. Only $ 3 to get your knife sharpened like factory new!

My knives were an embarrassment. I will tell you right now, I have cut the tip of my thumb off… twice. And only due to my laziness in never getting my knives sharpened. Finally, last week, I googled knife sharpening tucson and this place popped up. I am so glad I found it! First off, I brought in all my knives and I was very concerned about being without knives for days but the owner, Richard, assured me they would be done the next morning. Now my knives are better than new! It is actually enjoyable chopping and dicing in the kitchen again. My husband and I have been fighting over who gets to prepare dinner! It is totally worth the couple of bucks and you will definitely notice a difference. Don’t put up with dull knives.
