Aspen Ralph, DO ,PLLC

I was so ecstatic when I found Dr. Aspen Ralph. I’d been through so many doctors since I turned 19 and have needed an internal medicine doctor (instead of a general practitioner). Most of them I could never really connect with. They made me feel like something was wrong with me because I felt tired often, and had physical pain that was unexplained. Ever since I started going to Aspen Ralph she’s helped me tremendously. She’s gone above and beyond for me. One time I went in because of a muscle problem I have, I couldn’t even turn my neck my muscles were torqued so badly. She actually massaged my neck before explaining what was happening with my muscles in my neck. No one has ever told me why that was happening and it has really helped me understand when it does, why it does, and what I can do. I have finally gotten to a place where I feel I’m not helpless any more, and it has been so freeing. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a doctor that truly cares about her patients, not just the status. She’s one of a kind.

Dr. Ralph is my new physician and I am very happy to have found her. Her specialty is internal medicine (general physician) and osteopathic needs. First and foremost– she seems to be exceptionally knowledgeable about a wide range of conditions, treatments, medicines, etc. I have only seen her three times, but every time I leave impressed with her knowledge base. Other things that make me love her: She is a great listener & easy to talk to. She is completely supportive of my choice to see a Naturopathic doctor as well as her, and even, so far, supports and is knowledgeable about what my Naturopath recommends and prescribes. She explains things clearly and is very open to further discussion if I have questions. She is not opposed to antibiotics if she sees a real need for them. Getting an appointment was easy, even with limited notice. When she received my test results back, she had me in the office the next day to discuss even though is was not an emergency. She is incredibly fast with the pap smear, didn’t feel a thing. She has such a refreshing attitude– she smiles and jokes and is never ‘preachy’. Her website is even refreshing, there is a gazpacho recipe on it at the moment!

Dr. Ralph is a good women’s health specialist … if you can get ahold of her. Perhaps she could spend more time paying attention to her patients’ needs though.
The real problem is her incompetent secretary. She gets nothing done, messes up appointments, doesn’t relay patient messages to the doctor, and is not patient with her clients. I am switching doctor offices, because she’s the one I have to deal with the most… not Dr. Ralph… and it is so not worth dealing with.
