We are a local nursery specializing in cactus and succulents. Our inventory is well over 500 species. There is a strong focus on succulents for the landscape, but we also have a HUGE selection of Aloe, Agave, Hedgehog Cactus, Barrel Cactus, Pincushion Cactus, Torch Cactus, Euphorbia, Stapeliads, Caudiciforms, Adenium, and Seed Grown Ocotillos! Most of our plants are grown from seed right here.

History

Established in 2012.

Working for ten years at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum taught us that native Sonoran Desert plants are very difficult to find in local nurseries. As a result we started growing these plants at home. This suddenly became much more intense, evolving into a huge collection of plants from Baja California, Madagascar, South Africa, and pretty much every other succulent habitat. Now our nursery is about 1.5 acres with four greenhouses, and thousands of plants outdoors.

Most of our plants are exposed to full sun, and extreme frost.

You will not find tougher plants anywhere!

Business Owner

Born in the southwest, and knowing only the desert, I have always had an appreciation for the unusual. After working at several local plant organizations, I was exposed to an exceptionally large amount of plant species that will grow in Tucson. The last ten years were at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum where I was employed as a horticulturist specializing in cactus and succulents.
