Ordered the steak burger and it was great. Great place for a burger if ur ever in Tucson by the airport. Fries could’ve been crispier but the burger was on the money!

Supposedly the 2nd best Burger in Tucson with Zivas being #1. I tried both and Zivas wasn’t even on the same planet as Amigos. No offense to Zivas, but Amigos beats them out in every category of a fantastic burger. Great bun, nice crust on the burger, fresh toppings and cheese melted to perfection. When you say Medium Rare, it’s Medium Rare. Check out this hidden gem for yourself and enjoy!

I had their Amigo burger and it was outstanding. The fries were good and I loved their spicy ketchup. I am going to try their Southside burger next time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a great burger.

Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. The service was so bad I did not even get a chance to try a hamburger.

They have a veggie burger! And it’s pretty good! We stopped in during a road trip through Tucson and needed to kill an hour before we could check-in to our hotel. Amigos was down the street so we popped in. The ambience in the bar section is really dark; people sitting next to us had to break out the flashlights on their phone in order to read the menu. Apparently there is a restaurant side on the other side of the bar but we didn’t know about that until we left. The veggie burger and fries were really good. It’s the mozzarella cheese sticks that docked the 5 stars down to 4. They were tasty but are obviously generic frozen cheese sticks tossed into a deep fryer. With them comes a pre-packaged dipping pack of Heinz’s tomato sauce, nothing special.

This place might really have the«best burgers in Tucson» like it says on their sign. They actually cooked my burger rare like I asked for and it was delicious with BBQ sauce and grilled onions. You can also get some interesting southwest toppings like avocado and green chiles. Their onion rings are good too, or you can get a salad with lots of cheese, everything was great!

One of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Great fries and onion rings too. We had the Southwest Burger… pepper jack cheese, green chili. Awesome. Hoke in the wall unassuming décor. Friendly staff with both restaurant and bar. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here quite a bit. Couple of times in restaurant part but mostly eat in bar section. Usually come about once every two weeks for lunch with my husband. They just have really good burgers. Nothing else needs to be said. My husband loves the spicy ketchup but I don’t do spicy. First time here for Sunday night football. Not too crowded. Service is usually pretty good but can be a wait if really really busy.

I love Amigo’s. I’ve been coming here for a couple years to watch football on Monday and Thursday night. I also come here with coworkers for happy hour. It is hands-down my favorite place to eat and drink after work. Let’s start with the food. There’s a lot of back-and-forth about the best burger in Tucson, but I think Amigo’s has it. Their burgers are top notch. The meat itself is nicely seasoned and juicy, and the bun is golden brown and buttery. Then there are the toppings! They have a huge selection of burgers with different toppings. My go-to is their Southside Burger, which comes with roasted Hatch green chile and cheese. Amazing. I sometimes like to switch it up and get their signature Amigo Burger, which has guac and bacon. Also delicious. I also like the Steak Burger which has A-1 sauce with sautéed mushrooms and onions, which are always perfectly made. They have a number of other burgers that I haven’t tried, but I’m betting you can’t go wrong. The fries are also great, and they come with a side of house-made spicy chipotle ketchup. I usually ask for a second helping of it! Their beer specials are also great. They have draft beer for $ 2.50 during happy hour, which runs until 7. They have a good selection, including Barrio Brewing Tucson Blonde. There are two sides to the building: the restaurant and the bar. The restaurant is a well-lit, quiet setting that would be a good place to take a family, or just a nice place to sit if you want to have a conversation. The bar side has a good television setup and they usually have the sound turned up. When there isn’t s game on, they’re playing music. The lights are lower and there’s a pool table in the back. They serve the same menu and drinks on both sides, so it’s all good. The servers are friendly and food and drinks always come out pretty quickly. Like I said, this is my favorite after work spot!

Best hidden gem in Arizona, and just think we almost didn’t go in because of the way it looks outside. The staff is great, friendly, we live in Phoenix and have not found a burger better than this«! :)

Pretty solid hole-in-the-wall burger joint. Fresh ingredients, burger cooked to order. Spicy ketchup was a nice touch. Beer selection could be a bit better. A great place to get a fairly quick meal going to or coming from the airport.

I was in the mood for chicken wings so I called in here. I would have posted a picture but who wants to see chicken wings that have been eaten? The atmosphere was a little dive bar like, but it seemed nice. Parking was a little weird, but the food and atmosphere will have me come back. Good times had by all, mostly my tummy

I ended up going here with my wife last minute. We were planning a dinner at a near by restaurant but didn’t realize they were closed early on Sundays. Luckily Amigos Burgers and Beer was open! We arrived to an empty dining area and were promptly seated. I really wasn’t expecting much in the beer selection as I enjoy a greatly hopped IPA and most places don’t offer much beyond the usual fare. Luckily my wife eyed the bottles available and saw they had 3 varieties of Sierra Nevada IPA, WIN. As far as food they offer a variety of burgers and fried foods. For my meal I had a Southside burger which involved an Angus patty, green chilies, pepper jack cheese and cilantro mayo. The burger itself was tasty, the patty was seasoned lightly, and the extras were piled on without being too overwhelming. The bun was toasted and fluffy, and matched the burger well. The fries were seasoned quite heavily and had a real bite to them, this might scare some people away but I love spicy food and this was a great touch! They were also cooked perfectly, crunchy with a soft center! I gotta say, this place was a total surprise, I really didn’t expect the food to have much to it but it actually turned out great. I’m also considering just coming there to check out the bar as it seems to be a pretty popular spot!

This is my second time going here due to its proximity to my workplace and I find it mediocre at best. Service is slow and if you ask for no cheese, expect your burger to have cheese on it. Parking is also a pain if you go at a busy time. The food itself is ok. People like the burgers but I don’t think it’s the best in Tucson by a long shot. Things look burnt and the fries are all soggy. In a nutshell would I come back by choice? Probably not.

We love places like this and I wish I could leave a better review. We went mid week, early lunch, parking lot was full yet the eating area wasn’t. There were 4 open tables yet all were dirty. We were instructed to sit down at a dirty table with dishes on it and she would get to us when she could. Awhile went by, we asked her to clean the table, we ordered, 25 min later we were eating. Food looked great but WAY over seasoned and cooked. The burger was saturated with a-1 to where that was all we could taste. The salmon burger tasted like char and the oil was old, French fries and onion rings were way too dark. We might go back, we might not. the flavors of the food and the execution were poor.
