Affordable Window Tinting

I had my car tinted here a few months ago and am happy with the job so far.
They provide a quotes over the phone, which was was within twenty dollars of what they ended up charging me. I paid $ 165 total for tinting the sides and rear view windows of my Prius. Prices will vary based on size of your vehicle, extra side window panels etc. You can choose between three levels of tint — light/​medium/​dark, price is the same regardless of what you choose. They were able to tint my windows to California standards, which I needed since I’ll be moving back there soon.
They provide lifelong warranty which covers cracking or peeling (but not fading).
I brought a book to wait with since they quoted me less than 2 hours over the phone and since many Unilocalers wrote «comfortable waiting area». First of all, as soon as I got there the front desk lady said it would take 3.5 hours. Secondly, it’s just a standard waiting area with above-​average chairs. Sure there is a K-​cup machine, but otherwise its very simple. There’s nothing to do in the area and they don’t offer a shuttle service. There was no way I’d have the patience to wait there for 3+ hours so I had someone pick me up. They did let me just pick up my car early the next morning.
Overall, really really great price for a good tinting job, but I recommend finding a ride instead of waiting there.

In a word, HORRIBLE!!! I called two weeks ago wanting to get my windows tinted and was told today was the 1^st opening, ok not happy about it but fine. Asked SEVERAL questions including warranty and if I could do limo tint all the way around (yes I know it’s not legal on the front windows). Guy on the phone said no problem as long as we advise you that’s it’s not legal then you can do what you like. Okay great, mind you they charge DOUBLE what I would pay in CA. Well I show up today just to drop off the car and they can take all the time they need. Very friendly girl at the counter says they can only do a light tint on the front windows, I tell her what the guy said, her reply «we can do it but it voids your warranty» me, the warranty on just those two windows right, her, no the ENTIRE warranty. WHAT??? These people are out of their minds!!! I promptly walked away. This place is sooooo misleading and have now wasted my time. Even having asked the SPECIFIC questions I was lied to.

So 2 of my vehicles have been tinted at this shop. Fast. Friendly. Good materials. easy location to find and more important reasonably priced. They back there work and it shows in the quality. Also fix windshield chips and replacement.

Very friendly and professional. I had a ton of questions and they provided a ton of answers. What I really appreciated was that never at any time were they pushy nor did they rush me in my decision. I came in one time to get an idea of what I wanted to get, and then a second time for the actual work. My car took half an hour longer than they estimated but I didnt mind.
They gave me a good deal on Ceraluxe tint for windshield + all windows minus sunroof that beat all other quotes. I would come back here for any tinting, repairs, or whatever if I needed their services again.

Went to Affordable based on online reviews. I’m glad I did. The receptionist was polite and very informative. The owner was very friendly and nice. The quality of work is excellent. I am very picky with any kind of work performed on any of my vehicles. I have no complaints here. They have earned all my future business.

Came here based off of reviews. Scheduled an initial appointment but had to cancel due to emergency, I called them and they were very understanding and offered other appointments. I rescheduled a week later, got in early, and they got my car in early. Tint for my car, and windshield sun strip exceeded my expectations. I will only bring my vehicles here in the future. Excellent customer service, and continuous vehicle update and time frame of when job will be done can not be out done.

Really happy with my experience. Receptionist always friendly and professional, and I mean always because I called several times, rescheduled & couldn’t make an appt, took me several months to get back in. The technicians just as personable. First time I stopped by to see if they could match one of three skylight windows on my Roadtrek (replaced glass on one of them) and the tech brought out sample shades to compare. He recommended an in-​between shade that he didn’t have a sample for.
Because it was farther away than I wanted to drive back to, I got the window tinted at a local Green Valley shop. After waiting far longer than I was initially told, the tint looked terrible– didn’t match at all or meet the frame. So I made them rip it off. Went to another shop in Tucson and told it was impossible to match to the other two windows.
So I scheduled another appt with Affordable Window Tinting. I received the same friendly, pro service as before. They remembered me and the tint color I needed. Waited in a super nice, clean waiting room in a high-​backed cushy chair enjoying their K-​cup coffee machine with my dog until they whipped out my van with the perfect tint job. How great is that?

Awesome Job! I had AWT do a window tint and clear paint/​body protection on my SUV and it turned out great. They provided a range of options on the tint levels and found one that would work great with the color and existing factory tint so everything looks first class. The body protection kit is like an invisible force field for rocks and road trash and headlamps which keeps them from fading! Well worth the investment on any vehicle.

I have been taking my cars here since I moved down to Tucson and they are the best in town hands down. And referring to friends and family and haven’t been disappointed in any way. Also they have great customer service and have great deals!

You can tell; they know what they are doing, do it well, and for a fair price. what else can one say!

I spent a good amount of time doing research on films that were used and shop businesses… And this place stood out. Expect a wait to book an appointment, usually around a week depending.
I was extremely impressed with the girl at the front desk, very knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy, like I was expecting. I should of asked more questions, I was under the impression from their website they only used 3M films, only to realize the one we got was something else.
Doing just the back windows took 3 hours, there really isn’t much around there so I suggest having someone to pick you up. We ended up just hanging out, lunch at café marcel (check review) and walking around Walgreens. The chairs are comfy in waiting room.
All in all, was happy with the result. We had manufacture tinted windows and added the darkest to it. No bubbles, it’s only been a week but I’m satisfied and would recommend to others.

Almost as good as Caesar’ in Moorpark California. He’s the best in the business and my gold standard. This place was a very close and worthy second. Comfortable waiting area. Great prices. Good explanation of the various tint styles. Result is excellent. Not a lot going on in the neighborhood do bring a book or catch s ride if you don’t want to sit there and wait.

Beware of over-​promising from this place. They quoted me $ 149.99 on the phone and said it would take an hour and a half to 2 hours, but when I got there they said $ 199.99 and 2 and a half to 3 hours. I said thanks anyway. That’s just bad business. Especially when the guy who quoted me refused to honor his initial quote. He also told me on the phone that they could get me in the next day, but when he transferred me up front to schedule an appointment they said the soonest they could do it was the following week.

I cant believe I have not written a review… I had two of my cars tinted here at the best prices and customer service! They actually pointed out an issue with my door and fixed it on the spot when doing window tint. There waiting room is quite nice and usually doesn’t take too long to get done, I will keep referring friends here! Great quality and couldn’t be any happier! Tinting also comes with a lifetime warranty!

I was very happy with the service I received. The people were helpful and friendly. I brought my car in at my appointment time and it was ready exactly when they said it would be.
I called around to a few places and they had the best price on window tinting — about ½ of what the other places quoted me.

This place is awesome!!! Got my car window smashed in this morning and they took care of me and replaced the window by the afternoon. On top of which I got window tint at a discounted price. Both the replacement and the tinting were GRADE A jobs. I wont be going anywhere else but HERE for my auto glass. Thank you so much guys– I’d give you 6 stars if I could

What a business! I’ve been coming to these guys for over 10 years and they always amaze! The quality, care and workmanship that Affordable Tint and Glass put into every job is impeccable!
If that wasn’t good enough, they put customer service first! Always making sure the customer is 100% satisfied! Working with the ladies in the office is always a breeze! Go to a local homegrown shop and get treated like family!

Just had the hatch back window of my car tinted here few weeks ago. They quotes me $ 35 instead of some place on Broadway (you can do the research and know which one I am talking about) say its gonna cost me $ 100? Rally? Oh… they just had $ 39 Groupon for $ 100 service. No thank you, I’ll drive 10 more miles to give honest establishment the business.
After that, I’ll Unilocal about it!!! 5 more stars for the awesome jobs!

Let me start by saying in the last 15 years I’ve had 8 cars tinted. Some cars have had the front windows redone due to fix it tickets. I’ve used many companies over the last 15 years. I feel this gives me a decent amount of experience to judge a shop accurately. I have high standards for quality control (either product or work performed; in this case both) and customer service.
I shopped around before finally picking Affordable Window Tinting. The most important factors to me in order of importance were: quality of install, quality of film and pricing.
After comparing the four most popular tint shops in Tucson, the choice was easy. Affordable is actually the cheapest (of the four). They carry premium brand films. Most importantly, they at least tie for first in regards to quality of install. They might take the edge slightly for install quality over the other shop. Affordable’s pricing is so competitive that other shops that use cheaper films actually cost more then they do.
The customer service here is great too. Kylee helped me when I first went in to check out the shop and today when I went in for my install. She really knows her stuff. Kylee was able to answer some questions that other tint shops didn’t know the answer to. She is also patient and professional. The way she speaks is soft and respectful, but at the same time speaks with confidence. Kylee’s customer service also added to me choosing Affordable over the others.
Once the install was done I was very happy with the work. This is one of the best (MAYBE even the best) I’ve seen personally.
