Advantage Auto Repair

I own a transportation company in town and have multiple vehicles, trucks, cars and my kids cars so auto repairs are something I deal with and have for twenty years. We do a lot in house but always need a professional mechanic on my vendor list.
I met Oscar as I passed one day and saw the Free A/​C Diagnoses sign and it was hot in my truck. I stopped and had mentally prepared myself to get the normal up-​sell and walked in. What I found is the exact opposite, Oscar had his guy pop the hood and put the gauges on it and tried to add freon from the result he told me what needed to be replaced and it was a simple repair so I told him I would do it myself. I asked how much and they said its free, I had to tip them… it was like the twilight zone zone an honest mechanic. o I repaired the problem and I took it back and had them charge it and the price was right.
Since that experience I take everything that is out of our scope of ability to Oscar. From transmission mounts, shocks, struts, breaks, other a/​c repair on my son’s Camaro etc.
I stopped today to talked to Oscar about finishing off a restoration car I have been working on. I went in to see if it was something he was interested in working on and what it would cost. He had history on the same kind of car, and the shop rate at this shop is very affordable at Advantage. I am totally thrilled that he was interested and know the price will be right, When you meet and talk to Oscar you know your in the right spot. His guy in the shop is great on diagnosing and that is critical to keep cost down.
Every repair that I have had done has been done right the first time, every price was right on or less than quoted on a few occasions also. What else do you want… These guys are highly competent, reasonably priced and straight up good people.

Great place to get your transmission fixed. I was out of town when my transmission broke, these guys were honest, fair, got it done right away and my transmission works like new. Thanks Advantage, I would recommend you to everyone!!!

Oscar and his team have been honest, timely and priced fairly time and time again. I have taken multiple cars there to be worked on, and sent family members there as well. The customer service is always great. You do have to call, sometimes multiple times, to check and see how things are going and ask when the car will be ready, but I feel that it is worth it when you are getting quality car care.

I had my Taurus transmission worked on by Advantage Auto repair. Their repair costs are average (no bargain). I had the pump shaft (splines replaced) for $ 700. The parts and transmission oil cost $ 100, the labor was $ 600 for a 4 – 5 hr job, they had R remove & replace the transmission to get at the broken part.
Oscar did explain what the repairs entailed. He quoted the repair cost of $ 250 to $ 700. I wasn’t impressed with the cost. I would rate them average. It’s tough to find auto repair shops that are fair, they have you over a barrel and they know it.

Auto repair shops can be shifty sometimes and I needed someone I could trust. After reading reviews on Customer Lobby I decided to check out Advantage Auto Repair. Oscar and his staff were great. These guys got me back on the road quick and I haven’t had a problem since.
